What moisturizing products works well on dry skin in both the summer and winter seasons?

If you don't live in a place with drastic temperature or humidity difference between summer/winter, then you may be able to use the same moisturizer. Otherwise you probably need a heavier moisturizer for winter and a lighter one for summer.

If you are looking for something that's light enough for the summer month but still moisturizing enough for dry skin, look for products with hyaluronic acid like Drunk Elephant B-hydra or Fresh Seaberry and use them under a lightweight moisturizer like Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Cream, which is super lightweight but surprisingly hydrating.

Dry skin is a deficiency of oil (vs just dehydrated skin).

I would avoid gel moisturisers.  Instead opt for creams, or layer a moisturizer with an oil.

@Anonymous  I have dry skin and a product I really love is Consonant HydrExtreme. It's expensive but you don't need much and can apply it alone before the rest of your routine or add a drop or two to your favorite moisturizer.

Maybe adding argan oil to your routine could help as well. There's a light version of this too!

I think of Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief as a versatile and effective cream for both summer and winter. 

It is a non-greasy but very hydrating gel-cream.
