good moisterizer for super sensitive and very dry skin?

i live in canada so the weather switches quite often... 

what would you say is a good mosieterizer for super sensitive and dry skin that is decently priced? i have heard philosophy is pretty good,?

i have tried cetaphil, and that one actualyl doesnj't work for my skin.. i have tried la roche posay, and avene, and vichy, and carita , and ughh nothing seems to work :smileysad:

For inexpensive moisturizers, it might have to be oil derived.  Otherwise, look into lifestyle habits. Keep hydrated and limit intake of sugary foods and drinks.  Some may see benefits by putting more fiber and omega 3 types of foods into their diets. 

 

Try to keep stress levels down.  Treat the face to a DIY cucumber or oatmeal mask every once in a while.  These have inexpensive ingredients that are easily found in one's pantry or at the grocery store. 

 

As for First Aid Beauty, does okay for moisture but not the most hydrating on very dry skin.  It is at a good price point though.  Also keep in mind not to use overly foamy cleansers or alcohol based toners that will strip the skin of its natural oils.  If still using those, most moisturizers will feel dry no matter how emollient.  Exfoliation daily will also exacerbate dry skin conditions. 

 

Philosophy is mostly fragrance so it may cause more irritation than usefulness.
