Dry Skin
Dry
Hi, I'm 23 years old. My skin type is dry and sensitive. I'm wondering which toner could give my enough moisture as well as brightening? The toner is better be alcohol-free because of my sensitive skin.    What do you think about SK-II and Estee Lauder? Is it too early to use these 2 brands?   Thank you

I am looking for some skin care products to help with my dry, sensitive skin (I have eczema). I am also prone to blocked pores if the formula is to thick and doesn't absorb well. I have my daytime moisturizer with SPF squared away, so this would be more for nighttime/weekend use.   I tried the High Potency Night-A-Mins™ Mineral-Enriched Renewal and it didn't work for me. My skin never got moisturized, but would end up greasy and has started breaking out.   Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone,  So I just got a keratin treatment at a local salon. I want to have it last as long as possible. Ive been using pureology shampoo and conditioner. But what other shampoos can I use just sulfate free? Also if anyone else is blonde that has had a keratin treatment done did you still use your purple shampoo after? Thank you!!!

Has anyone used the fresh rose mask as a night time moisture mask? Slept with it on? It's all I have at the moment and I'm in dire need of some hydration and would rather lather my face at night than during the day.  Any thoughts?

Hiya! I'm currently taking accutane, which dries out the skin as part of how it works. I've found that recently my scalp has become very dry and irritated, and stings. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hydrating scalp treatment? I already use anti-dandruff shampoo, and wanted something to use without washing my hair (it hurts too much!). Most of what I've seen focuses on the ends of hair. Thank you so much!

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a daily moisturizer with SPF in it (at least 15... 30 or higher is preferable) that DOES NOT smell like sunscreen. Bonus points if it has a nice fragrance! Any suggestions???   One note, my skin is on the dry side, so it needs to be a good moisturizer.   So far I've tried out samples of Josie Maran's moisturizer with SPF like 47 or something... that smelled good, it just feels greasy at first and takes FOREVER to absorb so I keep having to find other things to do with my time before I can put my makeup on. Like we're talking 20+ minutes.   I also tried Benefit's emulsion moisturizer... that smells HEAVENLY and absorbs quicker and feels really good on the skin, but the SPF is only 15. Would love something like that with a higher SPF (just no sunscreen smell).   Has anyone tried any of the Boscia moisturizers with SPF?

Dry
So i've had issues with breakouts and blemishes just the last 3-4 years. I've tried everything - even not putting anything on my face to dry it out (which actually kind of worked) but as I've gotten older I've realized not taking care of my skin is no longer an option. HOWEVER, I have extremely dry and sensitive skin so a lot of products end up making my skin worse. Does anyone have any suggestions for products that specifically target pimples/blemishes.    Right now I'm using ole henriksen collagen serum and moisturizer as well as l'occitane brightening serum and face wash. Make-up I only use amorepacific CC compact foundation.   Thanks in advance!

I've recently been using Kate Somerville daily gentle wash morning and evening, and a sephora moisturizer with SPF 15 in it day and night. I have recently ran out if both and have just been using my body wash and hand soap to wash, and Vaseline cocoa butter body lotion on my face since I use it on my body - this is probably horrible! But is it?? I mean it helps my dry skin. My dryness issues include flaking skin on two sides of my face, on either side of my chin under my mouth and that includes discoloration. What are some recommended face washes and moisturizers for dry skin with large pores? I've also switched to using tea tree oil at night tI manage my acne, and even my skin tone and it works SO WELL!! Idk if that's relevant, but I thought I would add it. And help/recommendations will be so helpful!!

HI LADIES! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING & RESEARCHING & READING & ASKING QUESTIONS OVER & OVER  FOR ABOUT A WEEK TO MAKE SURE I AM MAKING THE RIGHT PURCHASE!  I NEED A SERUM &/ OR MOISTURIZER TO HELP W/ MY RED CHEEKS (W/ SOME VISIBLE CAPILLARIES [NOT THAT IMPORT. NOW] ) & DRY SKIN DUE TO HORMONAL / THYROID CHANGES.  BASICALLY I HAVE DRY SKIN W/ RED CHEEKS & WAS NEEDING SOME (ASAP) ADVISE AS TO WHAT WOULD BE MY BEST PURCHASE! CAN U HELP ME PLEASE?! BTW, I JUST PURCHASED (WAITING FOR IT TO ARRIVE) THE NEW BAREMINERALS FOUNDATION & WAS HOPING FOR SOMETHING THAT WOULD FLOW NICELY W/ THIS (OR ANY CC /BB B/C I NORM. DON'T WEAR FOUNDATIONS BUT LOVE THEIR POWDER'S & HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS !) -I have Clinique's Even Better Moisturizer + BUT need to add something to it. I don't feel as though their redness line would be appropriate for me at all. -I have been looking at and been directed to FIRST AID BEAUTY but I am not so sure about it b/c of the Sulfur (never used it on skin?).  -I was also directed to & pondering the REN line. It's supposed to be for sensitive skin w/ redness but I am unsure of it. -I already have a night mask (NUDE) that is wonderful what little I have got to use it due to breaking out into a rash (that I just got over!). Just need something to layer for daytime.   Thank You!

Lately I've had dry skin and I'm not sure if it's because of the heat, dehydration, my sunblock, or my philosophy cleanser. I noticed the sides of my nose start to crack if I use my Mia with philosophy cleanser  which has never happened before... When I stop using the Mia that little area heals and clears up but I've come to think its the cleanser.. I keep my Mia away from sensitive areas.   so I have combo dry skin... Ladies any suggestions ? Are skin care value packs great to try out multiple products ?   i need a better skin care routine and new products I was thinking of trying out this ..

So, I've been having really dry and flaky skin on my nose lately. No matter how much I was exfoliating and moisturizing, it seemed to stay all scale-y and flaky. I received a nice size lab sample of this product and decided to finally give it a shot last night. I used it like a mask, I kept it on for 10 minutes and wiped it off with a tissue, and then did my normal nightly routine with moisturizer and eye cream. Today, I have a flake-free nose! Also, I noticed my skin looked more even, feels super smooth and it didn't require as much of my moisturizer. This is just great for any of you who have dry/flaky skin! Anyways, I'm impressed with it, wanted to rave about it and its awesomeness! I didn't feel all self conscious anymore today because of this little gem.   http://www.sephora.com/age-arrest-hydrating-firmin g-mask-P386380?icid2=Kate_Somerville_editorspicks_ ...

Hello ladies! I am fairly new to the Sephora online community and loving it so far! Thought I'd say a quick hello to everyone.   On to the issue I've been having... I recently purchased the Clarisonic Mia 2 and have been using it every night for the past week and a half. Though I love how well it cleanses...I have noticed that my skin has become dryer. (I've had dry skin to begin with, but not to the point where I feel actual tightness while smiling and with different facial expressions, etc etc). That's what I've been dealing with these past couple of days. I do moisturize right after using it, and lately I've noticed that my skin seems to soak up the oils/moisturizer in a matter of minutes and I'm left with dry skin again. Ahh!   Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be that I'm using it too frequently?   P.S. If any dry skin ladies out there have recommendations for moisturizers or even want to share their skincare routines - I'm all ears! (sorry if this has been discussed before)

I wash, I scrub, I treat, but I still have a few stubborn blackheads on my nose. What are your favorite products for getting rid of these horrible little buggers?
