I have really dry skin and whenever I apply makeup, I get cracking on my chin area and around my nose. I've tried a few primers and had no luck. I recently tried the Too Faced Hangover Primer and it actually made the cracking worse. If anyone has a recommendation for a good primer that would stop the cracking and make my makeup last longer, that would be amazing. I'm looking for more of a primer and not moisturizer, :-)
Dry
Hello, I'm looking for a recommendation for a Korean brand Toner, Essence, and sheet masks. I have dry and sensitive skin. I'd love something that would help decrease redness, improve skin texture, and be as moisturizing as possible. I get breakouts and would like to soothe my skin without overly drying it. Please affordable options if possible. If you have any non-korean options as well I'd love to hear them
Dry
I just bough Make up forever smoothing primer. As soon as I put it on it made my skin look super dry and flakey. Should I return for something else or is there something I can do to not make it look like that. I want a smoothing/matte primer

I've recently discovered this new category and I was interested to see if anyone else has tried these as well.
Dry
I know this has been asked before, but I thought I'd get some more current feedback. My skin (combo, dry)  dries out when I fly and I end up with acne the day after the flight. The last time I flew I wore no makeup and usedGlamGlow Thrirsty Mud, reapplying half way through my 3 hour flight). It didn't help at all. It felt nice going on and for about 30 minutes after, but it didn't do anything to sooth my skin after that and I still broke out the next day. Any other suggestions? I'm thinking Clinique Moisture Surge Intense, but I wonder if that's just another version of the GlamGlow. I'm fine with department store options, but not luxury brands. Thanks!
Dry
I have extremely dry skin. I'll try to give as much detail as I can without being too boring.   I'm originally from a more humid climate. I have lived in a new, drier state for five + years and my skin has had enough! My skin is pretty sensitive so I try not to use insane chemicals.   My face is my biggest problem because that's what people see the most. My current routine is to remove my make up with cold pressed coconut oil and moisturize with Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair lotion for face and body (my skin drinks it in and feels soft and smooth for hours and hours afterward). About once or twice a week I do a gentle exfoliating routine but it has literally made zero difference in the result.   Before make up, I apply Feel the Moment Anti-Aging Ultra Hydrating Sensory Awakening Primer Serum by IT Cosmetics. I then use Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50. (I bought yet another foundation and primer to try just yesterday, to not avail.) I don't use powders because they only make the dryness more visible. But already I can see the texture on my cheeks and chin where it looks like my foundation is clinging to patches of dry skin that are settled on the top. I use a beauty blender to apply foundation and other areas of my face, such as my nose, blend beautifully onto my skin. Once I am done with the rest of my make up, I apply Urban Decay's Chill setting spray. I have tried many other foundations, primers, serums, setting sprays, and moisturizers and I don't know what I could be doing wrong.   Before I apply foundation, my skin doesn't look dry at all, but as soon as make up touches my face, even a moisturizing foundation, it seems to instantly reveal dry patches. I did an experiment over winter recess and went nearly two weeks without wearing a stitch of make up on my face to see if maybe my face just needed a break but the day I went back to work, the results were the same.    As far as nutrition: I stay very well hydrated. I drink mostly water and green tea. I eat mostly paleo.   I recently bought several First Aid Beauty products and I gave them a try just before applying my make up yesterday and they made no difference. At this point, I'm worried that I might have to see a derm, but I am really hoping someone would be able to give me some advice  before I have to spend that type of money on a doctor.

my  skin has been very dry like i have  dry patches  and dry  flakes what can i do to keep it  regular. masks? gels? primers? any tips?
Dry Skin
I've lived with severe eczema for my whole life. I can't keep my skin moist and hydrated unless I use Vaseline which causes my skin to look very glossy and greasy. I have used First Aid Beauty hydration cream and other creams/lotion that do not have the glossy look, but my skin still feels dry and tight after applying. Which then causes my skin to wrinkle and peel. All I'm looking for is a way to keep my skin hydrated without using a lotion that looks greasy.    If there is also a way to decrease the sights of eczema scars that would be appreciated.

I am looking for a great face moisturizer, I have used first aid moisturizer it was ok, but i noticed it would ball up. so my question is which is a better choice from belif , The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb or, The True Cream Aqua Bomb. I have dry skin ,light skin complexion and I am 23. I also have acne prone skin mostly cystic acne, i used to use acne medication topically, but it was making my face super sensitive. I decided to go more natural instead ,now I use purpose face wash, and use 1 part apple cider vinegar and 2 parts distilled water.it has been working, my face is less sensitive and I normally only get about 2 breakouts a month when mother nature comes to visit.

Has anyone ever tried the 10 step Korean skin care routine? If you have, how was it? I have been really into this lately and really would like to try it.
Dry
Hello again all!  I have been noticing a lot of threads on facial oils and finally dove into their glorious world.  I have been doing some research (currently using the Drunk Elephant marula oil) on the different types but haven't found much in the way of Marula oil vs. Seaberry!  I was hoping someone could clear up the difference for me.  I have dehydrated/dry, acne prone, sensitive skin that scars easily so i'd like to use the best oil for my skin.  That being said, obviously, if you have another suggestion that would be great too!    Thanks

Hi, I am wondering the steps of when to apply your products the right way for at night time. I have: - cleanser - toner - serum - anti wrinkle cream - eye cream  - moisturizer  - Lancôme sleeping mask - Josie Maran light oil   I am pretty sure I listed all my products that I have. I just want to make sure I am putting these products on the correct way.

Hey,    Pl recommend me the Face scrub name for very dry skin and my skin is not sensitive so it shouldn't be too soft like cleanser.      Thanks.
Dry Skin
As a beauty addict, I have more than my fair share of makeup products..but I've been slacking on my skincare.  a lot.  At one point, I was just using wipes and cetaphil lotion ( I know, disgusting.)   Anyway I've been getting back into my routine though.  This is my current routine:   -Shiseido Gentle Cleanser -Algenist Hydrating Toner -Clinique Moisturizing Lotion+   But I have questions!  What do you use?  Serums? Exfoliators? Luna?  Any tips or experience is greatly appreciated and I'd love to hear all about y'all skincare routine!  (P.S. I am prone to redness on my cheeks and my skin is generally normal/dry but the tip of my nose is white head galore and I have those whiteheads that stick out almost on the sides of my nose) Please let me know what you use to get rid of these suckers!

Has anyone tried this?  Does it have a scent?  It has SPF 30 so am I to assume it's daytime moisturizer?  I haven't used anything from this line so I'm curious about it.  Thanks!

I have dry skin year round.  But with winter I am now super dry.  My forehead is actually flaking and has dry lines.  Its the worst area.  I am currently using A Natural Difference and I've tried some other but I need super moisture.  Help   Also I have sensitive skin so brands with fragrances are not a good idea
Dry
Hi all!    I'm suffering from some seriously dry periorbital skin. The skin underneath my eye, as well as my entire eyelid, is extremely dry - red, flaking, cracked, dry, peeling, you name it. I have used the same, gentle makeup remover for years now, and even if I stop using this and stop wearing makeup, the dryness persists. I have been alternating between loads of different eye creams - none of which seem to help much. I'm currently using Cerave eye cream (rec'd by my dermatologist) and it helps temporarily, but as soon as I apply make up or wait a few hours, the dryness returns.    I really want to try a new eye cream specifically for moisturizing. I don't want retinol or other anti-aging ingredients that have the potential to dry out the area any more. I'm only 25, and while I have minor wrinkles and dark circles, this dryness is my main concern. Any recs on eye cream (for day, night, or both) would be greatly appreciated!    Thanks everyone!

Pregnant, and suddenly very dry skin! I use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense twice a day, and have tried samples of a few other moisturizers but I'm still very flaky. I'm thinking I need to exfoliate? Any ideas?

What is the best foundation for dry skin?

What is the best moisturizer for dry skin everything ive been using is not working my foundation starts to get flaky around my nose and mouth area. Anyone have any tips that would help?
Dry
Hi,  My skin is dry but usually very dry in winter. I have used some of the products like kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate and cream, shiseido ultimune power infusing concentrate, hydration masks and including some drug store products. Nothing seems to make a major difference. Now, I am willing to try Biotherm aquasource line. I have heard about the deep serum and hydration cream gel. Before spending money, I just want to ask, is that a good choice/opinion for dry skin? Or please suggest me some other specific products with serum and cream. Thanks so much!!

So generally, I have been blessed with really good skin. I do have the occasional breakout. (I'm fighting a pimple that appeared yesterday on my chin- hopefully it's going to be the only one. But REALLY right before Christmas when everyone will be taking pictures?) But I have been hearing compliments my whole life about my complexion.   Anyway. Lately, and maybe it's a winter thing, but I put on my makeup for church on Sunday. (Yes I wear lipstick CONSTANTLY but I only take the time to put on a full face of makeup a couple of times a week because I have been sleeping in til the last possible minute lately)  Before getting out of the car, I glanced in the mirror and noticed that my forehead was really flaky. It looked terrible.    I put makeup on today too, but I avoided putting foundation on my forehead. And I don't notice any flakiness.   Any ideas? Apparently, I need to become more vigilant in my moisturizing. Sigh.
Dry
I have extremely dry peeling skin around my chin and nose area but I also have pimples on my cheeks and forehead and oily skin on my forehead. I am thinking about getting CeraVe cream as a night moisturizer. I basically want to change my whole skin care routine and am debating between several different oils/serums/cleansers. I have tried the Mario Badescu drying lotion for my pimples but they aren't going away. I believe they were caused by waxing my face but I cant be sure since I started using new make up products as well. I need help please!

Dry
Hi!   I am having the most trouble finding a foundation in my shade that is good for my dry skin. Over the summer I used IT cosmetics CC cream in their "light" shade and it is much too dark for me now but I loved the hydration and coverage. I tried their "fair" shade and I found it to be too neutral and white of a color. I don't have a color match but my skin is fair (not ghostly white) and I tend to have rosacea on my cheeks which makes me think I might be warm toned. I recently tried the bareMinerals serum foundation in Bare Linen 03 which seems like a good (not great) color match but the serum consistency only makes my dry skin look worse!   Please help! I would love a medium coverage foundation that is buildable. Preferably from a cruelty free brand. Also, any primer recommendations?
