Routine help for dry skin - order to apply these products?
Any other product recs for my dry, flaky skin? I have a skin condition and some psoriasis-like patches/texture on my cheeks, however generally my skin isn't sensitive and I can keep this at bay with a good AHA.   AM: -Cleanser (PC Skin Recovery) -Toner (Fresh Rose Deep Hydration or PC Skin Recovery or P50 - any suggestions for AM?) -Vitamin C? (Drunk Elephant C-Firma) -AHA? Do I use any in the AM? In conjunction with C-Firma? I have PC 8% AHA gel, 10% AHA liquid and Sunday Riley Good Genes. I d o need to use AHAs daily to prevent dead skin buildup, but not sure if I should use 2x/day - my skin isn't sensitive. -Also - May Coop Raw Sauce - AM or PM? -Drunk Elephant B-Hydra under moisturizer? -Moisturizer with SPF - any recs? Is it ok to skip this if I have SPF in my foundation and set with Coola setting spray with SPF? PM: -Cleanser (PC Skin Recovery for now - any other suggestions for dry flaky skin? I was going to try YTTP's Kale/Spinach etc cleanser however there is a retinol derivative in it and I'm pregnant - can't use) -Toner (Fresh Rose Deep Hydration or PC Skin Recovery OR P50 - any suggestions for PM?) -AHA next? PC 8% AHA gel, 10% AHA liquid and Sunday Riley Good Genes - OR Drunk Elephant Babyfacial mask for exfoliation instead? When to add in May Coop Raw Sauce? DE B-Hydra? Ceramidin Liquid?  PC 10% Niacinamide Booster? Drunk Elephant Babyfacial mask? Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist?   I also have Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid & Cream, a few choices for moisturizers: Belif Moisturizing Bomb, Drunk Elephant Lala Retro, FAB Ultra Repair, etc. - anything along these lines I should/could try? Though these all seem to be working great (FAB Ultra Repair isn't QUITE moisturizing enough though)... Oils: Sunday Riley Flora, Sunday Riley Juno, Fresh Seaberry - I rotate these. Was using Caudalie c15 Polyphenol Overnight Detox but had to return as it's not pregnancy safe. Also was using Sunday Riley Luna - also had to return due to pregnancy. I realize there are a lot of products that can substitute for one another but I like to have a few to choose from

HELP WITH PRODUCTS FOR DRY SKIN
Hey guys! I'm starting the medicine Accutane for my severe acne in the next few weeks and I'm looking for skin care recommendations. On this medication, the oils in your body stop it's production, which then makes your face (and whole body) extremely dry. I have combo skin right now, but I know I'm going to need a lot of moisturizing products while I'm in this medicine. So has anyone been in a similar situation and have any good dry skin lifesavers they would recommend? Thanks so much.

Dry Skin Talk
I think it's about time we have a place for people with dry skin to talk their dry skin, share, discuss, help each other with their skincare routines, problems, goals.... Skincare. Life style changes. Anything. As much as we can. We don't have to be experts to help each other out. Maybe our experiences combined and put together can produce something helpful and beautiful for every fellow dry skin person that might seek help, word of advice, or simply a "safe haven".   Of course, you don't have to have dry skin to join us. Anyone with some wisdom willing to share is welcomed here!

Dry flaky skin leading to patchy makeup
Lately I have been really trying to perfect my skincare/makeup routine but I have been having trouble with dryness and makeup looking patchy half way through the day,   I use a cleanser with 5% salicylic acid to combat acne (this may be causing dryness?). I use this morning and night.   Then I use a nivea facial cream for dry skin, morning and night. Sometimes 3 times a day.   I also just starting using first aid beauty's moisturizing primer under my makeup. I use a Mac foundation and concealer.   i also exfoliate every other day with a light scrub by boire.   What can I do differently? what does a girl have to do to keep a nice even face of makeup from going flaky and patchy half way through the day?

How to fix dry, powdery makeup?
So I've been using Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer and Pixi's H2O Skin Tint and I find it looks very dry and powdery especially on the nose and between the brows. I've tried exfoliating and using masks and I use First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration for a moisturizer. I've also tried multiple primers including Too Faced Hangover Primer, Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer , First Aid Beauty Coconut Smoothie Priming Moisturizer and Benefit's Porefessional Primer. It looks this way whether I put powder on top or not. I've also tried Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist and Vichy Thermal Water spray before and after application. I've use a beauty blender, brush and my fingers and still the same. Any other suggestions? Do you think it's my skin, the products, or something else? Would you recommend a different primer? I have normal to dry (not extremely dry or flaky) skin, not many pores, can get redness at the base of my cheeks and sometimes minor acne.

So my daily skin routine is very simple and I'm looking to amp it up a bit.My skin type is normal to dry (especially dry under my eyes) and I've also noticed it's uneven and dull.  I've been reading posts and questions but it's extremely overwhelming. Can anyone recommend some specific products and tell me exactly what they do (toner, cleanser, serum, essence, etc) ?  Also, is it too early to start some anti-aging products? Thank you so much in advanced! I am 22 btw!   Here is what I am doing right now.. I usually wake up and just wash my face with water and then moisturize + spf before makeup. At night I use makeup wipes, aveeno cleanser and aveeno overnight cream.

Dry skin and nothing seems to be working
Hello all! I have very dry skin, and I am at a loss when it comes to fixing the situation. I use Clinique's 7 day scrub every few days, and CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser when I am not using the scrub. I go in with Peter Thomas Roth's water drench cloud serum and for moisturizer I use Neutrogena hydro boost or First aid beauty face cream. When I am not wearing foundation, you can't see the flakes as much obviously but my face doesn't feel smooth... But when I am wearing foundation the dry patches are SO bad mostly on my forehead but pretty much every where. I really don't know how to get this under control. I use IT cosmetics your skin but better cc+ cream.. and so far it has been the least drying.. But since it is so thick and almost oily feeling I would need to set it.. Which I can not go near powder or it makes the situation 10x worse.   Any suggestions for exfoliators, moisturizers, serums or even foundations?

need foundation advice!! :)
i have normal to very dry skin, meaning that based on weather or other circumstances my skin can go from a very normal  state to almost flaky dry. i also have a very red tint to my cheeks and nose, not as bad as rosacea, but it definitely does come into play when i chose a foundation. my skin is also on the more pale side and with the redness it makes it very hard to find a foundation that will cover up my flaws and redness and leave me looking a nice shade without any orange tint to it. i know this is a lot and it is complicated but i could really use some help when it comes to choosing a nice brand that would benefit my skin.
