Recommendations for a super moisturizing body wash and a after shower body oil (that doesnt leave me feeling greasy)? Showers zap my skin of moisture. I have tried several drug store brands and havent found the perfect products yet. I am willing to try some mid-range/non-drugstore brands. Any suggestions?
I am in my early 30's and have never had a skincare routine. I do not wear makeup, and have dry skin and a bit of redness going on. I would like to get something that is like an all in one. Something for dry skin, redness, evens tone and anti aging. Is there a product for all of this in one bottle?
Okay, this sounds a little ridiculous to type but my feet are so unbearably itchy. I have tried everything I can think of. Body butter and hydrocortisone cream and soaking them and scrubbing them and leaving them alone... nothing seems to work. Any suggestions/experiences, or am I destined to live in this constant state of itchiness?
I have very dry skin flaky and crack I tried a moisturizer from Clinique intense repair but it doesn't help at all it's still so so dry. And I am using argan oil quite better but not that much helpful Can you recommend me a some product that can help .
I have dry to normal skin but I keep get a build up of skin around my nose. I have used scrubs with no real help. I am looking to change up my skin care system completely due to having no luck with my current one. I am between ole hendricksen and origins. Any advice on what you would recommend?
I moved to a very cold climate for university and my skin has gotten extremely dry, like peeling all the time. I do not have bad acne but i get a few pimples every now and then. Which products would you recommend?
Debating on a fairly quickly absorbing body oil. I prefer the idea of a spray, and a non-glass bottle (slippery hands + fumbling = broken bottles), but I'll deal with glass/non-spray if they're the better option. I'm so far thinking of one of these three. Anyone tried more than one and can compare? http://www.sephora.com/ginger-gloss-trade-smoothin g-body-oil-P375837?skuId=1465848&country_switch=ca http://www.sephora.com/almond-firming-and-softenin g-supple-skin-oil-P162554?skuId=1626548&country_sw ... http://www.sephora.com/divine-oil-P374502?skuId=14 37755
Hi I'm new to this board and was wondering if I can get any advice on some questions I have regarding my skin care and a regimen to help it. I am 34 years old and my skin is dry and I'm seeing fine lines appearing. I had read about AHA and BHA exfoliants but are not sure what products would be good for my skin. I would like to have a good daily regimen to help combat the dry skin and fine lines but I'm kind of lost on how to start an effective one so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I am looking to buy new skin care items but I have no idea what the exact steps are to cleaning my face. I have a cleanser but I don't know if most people have a cleanser, exfoliators, face mask, eye cream, moisturizers, etc, what are the main things I need? And when do I use which products? I have dry skin and it looks worn out.
My face is DRY! DRY! I use masks and moisturize, but during the day, its just dry in places where acne has been or Ive been wiping my nose non-stop and I need a moisturizer I can apply over makeup. I was using Clinique's Moisture surge but ran out, and its pricey. I use it bc a Clinique SA once told me it can be put over top of makeup as needed. It seems to work...any other suggestions?
I need some recommendations for some exfoliators please! My skin is becoming dry and flaky and no matter how much moisturizer I put on my face, my makeup still seems to separate by the end of the day even with setting powder and a setting spray. My skin is very sensitive, and acne prone, so I'm guessing I need a very gentle exfoliator. I don't want one for acne skin because I already am using products to clear up my acne. Thanks!!
My skin is very dry year round, especially in the winter. To hydrate my skin, I currently use: - Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ - Clinique All About Eyes Rich - Lush Oatifix Face Mask All of these products I love but I find are not enough to keep my skin constantly hydrated. I am looking for suggestions of the best cleansers for dry skin, along with any other products that will be effective in combating my dry skin?
The cold weather has weird effects on me. My under eye skin is so dry and itchy! I have been going to bed with Aquaphor under my eyes for the past few days but it didn't help. Now I'm using FAB Ultra Repair Cream today, reapplying every hour. Luckily for me, I work from home and I don't have to get out of the house all day, except for a teacher/parents meeting tonight. Do you have any miracle product to suggest? Is is ok to use a cream that is not targeted for under eyes? Should I try coconut oil tonight? Aloes? Anything? Thanks!
I’ve heard a lot about using honey on your face for its moisturizing benefits. It’s antimicrobial and has antioxidants properties to help with acne, which I don’t have a problem with, and ultra-humectant for dryer skin. I’ve heard/read about home recopies of honey face masks and have tried my own concoctions at home but I’m contemplating the idea of mixing it in with my morning moisturizer for everyday use. Have you have tried honey on your face? When and how often? And do you use it straight from container or mixed in with something (what??)
I have always had dry skin. In the winter however living in a cold, and non-humidified climate.. my skin gets SO dry. I moisturize daily, and have tried literally hundreds of lotions from prescription, to Nivea, you name it. My skin gets super dry, and flakes, EVERYWHERE! Any suggestions?
So I've been looking into improving my skincare and it's not as simple as I thought it would be. One product lead to another and it seems like something's always missing. Started off with a moisturizer and now I'm getting a skin peel. What type of products do you think are essential for dry skin and for a 17 year old?
My skin is just dry and flaky and I don't think it will get any better until I get rid of all this dead skin. I looked at the "Facial Peel" section on here and I truly don't even know what to think. Can anyone help me? I'm mostly just looking for a way to remove all of this dead skin without it being extremely expensive. I was hoping to not go much higher than $50 unless I need to (truly don't know how much these things should cost).
Hi everyone, I recently turned 44 and I am still struggling to figure out how best to care for my dry/combination skin. At the recent VIB sale I have purchased all new skincare for my crazy skin that does not like fragrance (cause sneezing and plugs up my nose) or most skincare products (make my face turn red). So my current routine is : Morning - wash with philosophy cleanser in shower then use Origins Dr Weil mega mushroom serum followed by Algenist oil (at this point I notice some redness/irritation already). After oil is absorbed I use the Origins Dr Weil mega mushroom cream (very fragrant but takes care of some of the redness). I then follow with Algenist sunscreen then foundation. The only foundation I found that does not cause any reaction on my skin is Naked by Urban Decay (Lancôme BB cream causes sneezing and Dior forever flawless is great for 4-5 hours but then it melts away). Evening: Boscia makeup breakup and Lancome eye makeup remover, follow with Origins mega mushroom cleanser. Use FAB radiance pads (but it causes redness) then use the Origins mega mushroom serum followed by Fresh seaberry oil. Last I use the Origins mega mushroom moisturizer. At the end my skin still shows some redness/irritation. About every other day I use masks and about 2-3 times a week I exfoliate either with Lancôme gentle exfoliator, PTR peeling gel exfoliant, Glam Glow or Ole Hendriksen blue/black enzyme mask. Other concerns that I would like to address with my skin are uneven skin tone and blemishes on chin and forehead (mostly around that time of the month). Thank you so much to anyone who is taking the time to read this lengthy post. I would sure appreciate some suggestions and advice. I feel like I own so much stuff and yet nothing seems to work just right :-(
I recently was told to buy Murad as a daily cleanser but I believe it's drying my skin out even more. Sadly, I was told it would;t do so but I understand every skin type is different. Any suggestions on a cleanser to use every day that will not dry out (already dry) skin and will also remove makeup?
I have dry skin and i moisturize it religiously but i hate the greasiness/shininess that comes with it. I just bought a full size of Murad Oil-Control Mattifier after trying a sample and liking it but i'm rethinking it because it doesn't seem all that moisturizing. (Duh, it's for oily skin...) Does anyone know of any moisturizers heavy-duty enough to help out my dry skin, but still with a matte and shine-less finish?
Why does this say it's for DRY skiN?Pureness Line is for oily skin! http://www.sephora.com/pureness-balancing-softener -alcohol-free-P173643?skuId=622571 I want to make sure because I have oily skin I dont want to buy the wrong one!! Thanks!!
All of the evening creams I've tried recently are leaving me feeling even more dry & more flaky. If anyone has any night cream suggestions for the over 50 group with flaky, dry, old-looking skin, I'd be very grateful! Thanks!
Hey all, I'm pretty new here and I need help with finding a good winter moisturizer. My skin varies from season to season; I find it's a bit more oily in the summer and a lot drier in the winter. My skin is starting to feel very tight and it's starting to become more flaky. The current cleaners I have dry me out; I have purchased Philosophy's Purity and that broke me out. My skin really isn't sensitive but I honestly don't know what would irritate it. I would also like a good moisturizer for the day time because the moisturizers I do have are extremely heavy and are more suitable for night time. Any suggestions? Thank you!
