I have pretty dry under eyes! I moisturize a lot so I don't have dry patches after applying concealer..but it looks and feels so dry. I currently use the Nars creamy concealer. Does anyone have a concealer that doesn't dry their under eyes/accentuate the dryness? I want to try the Urban Decay one but I heard its drying.
Hey guys, I'm currently in the market for a hydrating toner that isn't a facial mist that actually hydrates like it says it will. I have dry sensitive skin and on nights that I use a retinol or an acid serum I like to balance it with a hydrating toner, but I don't even know where to start looking. Help?
So my daily skin routine is very simple and I'm looking to amp it up a bit.My skin type is normal to dry (especially dry under my eyes) and I've also noticed it's uneven and dull. I've been reading posts and questions but it's extremely overwhelming. Can anyone recommend some specific products and tell me exactly what they do (toner, cleanser, serum, essence, etc) ? Also, is it too early to start some anti-aging products? Thank you so much in advanced! I am 22 btw! Here is what I am doing right now.. I usually wake up and just wash my face with water and then moisturize + spf before makeup. At night I use makeup wipes, aveeno cleanser and aveeno overnight cream.
Hello all! I have very dry skin, and I am at a loss when it comes to fixing the situation. I use Clinique's 7 day scrub every few days, and CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser when I am not using the scrub. I go in with Peter Thomas Roth's water drench cloud serum and for moisturizer I use Neutrogena hydro boost or First aid beauty face cream. When I am not wearing foundation, you can't see the flakes as much obviously but my face doesn't feel smooth... But when I am wearing foundation the dry patches are SO bad mostly on my forehead but pretty much every where. I really don't know how to get this under control. I use IT cosmetics your skin but better cc+ cream.. and so far it has been the least drying.. But since it is so thick and almost oily feeling I would need to set it.. Which I can not go near powder or it makes the situation 10x worse. Any suggestions for exfoliators, moisturizers, serums or even foundations?
I have pretty severe keratosis pilaris on my arms, legs, and cheeks. Although i do not struggle with rosacea or acne, my cheeks are constantly red and bumpy! I've been using Amlactin which has helped a lot, but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions for dry, sensitive, KP skin. (I.e, serums, moisturizers, cleansers, exfoliators). My current skincare routine is primarily drugstore and i'm trying to change that. (Coconut oil to remove makeup, purity facial cleanser, St.Ives grapefruit exfoliator, any natural spray toner I have on hand, Pond's Dry Skin Cream, and Amlactin) Xx, Stella
i have normal to very dry skin, meaning that based on weather or other circumstances my skin can go from a very normal state to almost flaky dry. i also have a very red tint to my cheeks and nose, not as bad as rosacea, but it definitely does come into play when i chose a foundation. my skin is also on the more pale side and with the redness it makes it very hard to find a foundation that will cover up my flaws and redness and leave me looking a nice shade without any orange tint to it. i know this is a lot and it is complicated but i could really use some help when it comes to choosing a nice brand that would benefit my skin.
I have tried everything under the sun! I just want a really strong, extremely moisturizing eye cream that contains no sulfates, parabens, or frangrances and is ok for sensitive skin! the only thing that has kind of worked on me is burts bee's honey chapstick and olive oil....imagine that every day and trying to wear makeup and not look like you were punched in the face! I know I'm sadly not the only one suffering, please share any tips or tricks for relief and I will owe you for life! Thanks ladies Spoiler (Highlight to read)
I can only wear Clinique products. I have dryer skin and sensitive. I am not oily. Do I need a night time cream? I currently use the 3 step for cleansing and there foundation....I have tried the moisture surge intense and is a bit oily/greasy....was looking for a night time and morning cream.
I think I do everything I can. I moisturize twice a day, drink enough water, don't shower with hot water, use an overnight moisturizing face mask, and my skin still feels and looks dry. I don't know what else to do.
I know there is another thread but it wasn't focused on the cleansers. I'm specifically looking for any experience with them! There aren't too many reviews on the products themselves. I'm interested in the Gentle Foaming Cleanser but the deep cleansing gel and the cream wash both sound interesting.
I'm in my mid 20's and am revamping my skincare routine. I'm noticing some fine lines under my eyes, and this is especially where concealer creases, as my under eyes can be pretty dry. I currently use Clinique's All About Eyes eye cream, but are there better eye creams to target fine lines?
lately the outer corners of my eyes have been getting super dry and red and the skin is peeling off. I dont think its an allergy thing because i haven't been using anything new really,i think its because of the cold weather. any product recommendations? ive seen those cooling eye sticks but I wanna know what works best
I had my makeup done at Sephora on Times Square and they used some type of serum but I neglected to find out what it was. Does anyone have any suggestions of something would would work and also brighten that area?
I have an issue with bad dry skin on my inner crease and under my eyes. I've tried lots of products but none really work except vitamin E but that isn't always cheap... I am starting to run out of ideas. Any suggestions??
Hey guys- I'm looking for suggestions on some products for my very dry, sensitive skin, with some redness as well, more specifically an exfoliant. My skin can tend to get flaky around certain areas, but with my current skin routine it's been better. But I have yet to find an exfoliant that I really like. Do you have any suggestion? Some I've been looking at: Yu-Be Foaming Skin Polish Origins Refreshing Scrub Cleanser (according to reviews, it cleanses more than exfoliates??) Origins Modern Friction Nature's Gentle Dermabrasion Caudalie Gentle Buffing Cream My most basic current routine: Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser May Coop's Raw Sauce First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration (And some nights) Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
I have two piercings on my nose and I have recently been getting very dry around that area. I put foundation on that are because my skin is red there. I take my nose rings out at clean that area daily. I just peeled dead skin off that area tonight. Is there anything I can do to help it or any product that will help?
thoughts on farmacy? i have combination skin that's sometimes oily and sometimes dry and was wondering if this is a good brand to use. I need skin care products that aren't too harsh on my skin and can really make it feel and look good. would be nice if it wasn't acne prone too.
I have used Caudalie Detox Night Oil before and I do not remember why I switched to Korres Rose Oil but I got it around summer and now it feels harder to distribute on the face. It definitely feels dryer than Caudalie. I have had a solid routine with Tidal as my moisturizer, Josie Maran's argan oil and Korres Rose Oil. But my face gets dry in the winter and for some reason it is always the chin. I've gotten samples of some moisturizers: Ole Henriksen Truth Revealed , Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins and PTR Mega Rich Cream. Now I think I like Origins cream but I am not sure about Ole. I always put the oil afterwards. Also any thoughts on the new PTR Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream? Or Algenist Splash Hydrating Setting Mist?
