Moisturizer / primer like Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream?
Seeking something quite thick, rich and emollient that will make me very dewy and prep the skin. I find most creams just don't get the job done or are far too thin in texture. Also would like something natural and without nasty chemicals I can't pronounce. Unfortunately it's very hard to get my hands on the Magic Cream here in Canada and would rather purchase something sold at Sephora.

New winter skincare regimen
hello lovely ladies!    I'm in desperate need of assistance with my winter skin! I have year round dry skin and usually use Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. But the last two winters, I've still developed dry flaky skin. I've tried Josie Maran argan oil and Body Shop vitamin E night mask for dryness. Both got rid of flakes but I had breakout in small pimples. I've also used Boscia exfoliating powder which I like as gentle exfoliate but can only seem to use it 1-2 times a week.    I had been using a Lush cleanser Let the good times roll which I loved until the weather changed. I'm wondering if a gentler daily cleanser may be the solution? There are so many options between cleansing oils, milks and lotions that I'm feeling overwhelmed! I've been looking at FAB and origins but any guidance would be so appreciated.

Hi, I'm 23 and I don't have a skin care regimen.
I'm really interested in starting to use a daily skin care regimen. I'm starting to worry about my skin and I want to kick aging in the butt as early as possible. I don't really have sensitive skin, but I do have dry skin. I find my skin is very dry and flakey and because of so I have blemishes most of the time. I wouldn't consider it acne, but there aren't many times when I don't have at least one blemish.  My price range is in the lower range as I'm a student. Any advice on what products I should start using that will work for my type of skin is appreciated!

Oil-free moisturizer and cleanser for sensitive skin?
I am looking for a new cleanser and moisturizer for my daily routine. I have very sensitive skin and would prefer the products to be oil-free and fragrance free. My skin is combo oily and dry at the same time. Its more so dry lately so hydrating products would be awesome! Any suggestions?

Dry, dry, dry! I need some suggestions!
Hello all!   I have pretty dry skin on my face, I always have. During the summer its way less noticeable and much more manageable. However I recently moved and the climate is much colder. I'm talking -30 Celsius some days Anyways, Due to the cold weather my skin has dried out to the point where I feel uncomfortable wearing any foundation as it always looks cakey (this is even after I exfoliate , moisturizer and prime my face). I moisturize my face at least twice a day, morning and night, however I'm not seeing much improvement. I need some suggestions on moisturizing products you guys have had luck with, or tips you can suggest for getting my foundation to lay smoothly. Thanks in advance for your help!

natural makeup for school/everyday
I have medium dark skin and want a natural not too expensive makeup look to wear for school and everyday. I'm looking for lightweight base (foundation, bb cream, tinted moisturizer) that will give me a flawless dewy look and looks/feels like I'm not wearing makeup. I normally wear neutral brown eye shadows and am looking for new shades that match my skin tone and suit me well. Also a nude/natural pink lipstick/stain. A natural mascara that makes my eyes look big, gives length and isn't too voluminous or clumpy. A nice highlighter to make my cheekbones stand out but also looks natural.  Also I'm in need of a new primer since my old one ran out and i want to try something new

Q. clarisonic dryness
I was so excited when I purchased my clarisonice Mia. I started using it on Friday.  I was using it twice a day with Philosphy Purity, followed by Clinique Toner and Clinique Dramatic Lotion Gel (I can't remeber the whole name.)  By today, Tuesday (4 days after i began use) my face is SO DRY and flaky all of my chin and cheeks. I have combination skin and usually have a oily t-zone and dry cheeks.  The flaking on my chin and cheeks is unbareable.  It looks HORRIBLE!!!  Has anyone else experienced this?  I read somewhere that I should cut back to only using it once a day instead of twice.  But do you think i should get a stronger moisturizer?  I have been using the cleanser, toner and gel for years and have never had this issue before. I'm afraid I might have to return the MIA!!!

Body Lotion that compliments a light/fruity perfume such as Daisy by Marc Jacobs
I'm looking for a body lotion mainly to use after getting out of the showers in the morning/before bed at night. Normally I wear lighter fragrances, right now I use Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I'm hoping to find a lotion not too overpowering, but I would still like it to have fragrance. However, the Daisy by Marc Jacobs lotion is far too expensive for my taste in just a body lotion.    I'd be willing to spend upwards of $25 or so if it comes in a bigger bottle. I would appreciate any suggestions for a good, long lasting and moisturizing body lotion. I don't have super dry skin, so a "thirst quencher" isn't completely necessary, but just a good, moisturizing everyday lotion.    I'm open to all brands, I'm not allergic to any ingredients. I would prefer a more natural ingredient lotion but I'm open to anything.    On this same note: I have extremely dry feet, any suggestions in that department, but more of a "thirst quencher" would be greatly appreciated!

Dry skin and foundation application
Can we talk about foundation application for people with dry skin?  I was just watching a video on foundation application, and it was pretty much saying what every other tutorial I've ever read or seen said: apply moisturizer, then primer, then foundation, then concealer, then powder.   But in my personal experience, I haven't needed all those items.  The purpose of a primer is to provide a smooth surface for foundation application and to control oil.  But a good moisturizer will give you a smooth surface, and I really don't want anything to reduce my skin's oil-developing abilities -- it needs all the help it can get!   Similarly, powder is meant to keep your face from getting too oily.  Sure, it mattifies the foundation, maybe can help keep it from transferring ... but truth be told, I usually don't bother with powder because I can count on my skin to not get oily.   On the other hand, one thing I DO need that is rarely mentioned in foundation tutorials is luminizer.  This is not one of those steps I'm adding in if I get fancy.  This is like a golden rule: if you wear foundation or bb cream, you're mixing luminizer in.  That's because my dry skin can get pretty dull looking, and luminizer makes a huge difference on me.   Since it's winter right now, I figure a fair amount of us might have dry skin right now, so I just wanted to hear if anyone else had a foundation applying routine that's different from the standard moisturizer-primer-foundation-concealer-powder.

Dry + Wintery Skin
So I naturally have a bit of dryness which requires moisturizer and moisturizing primers and foundations, but I'm starting to notice that the skin between my eyebrows (The top of my T-zone) is getting majorly dry when I put on makeup. I've been trying some new cleansers like the Peter Thomas Roth foaming cleanser and facial wipes (the foaming cleanser did wonders after I had major dryness for some odd reason and my skin was really peeling and stuff) and I've just purchased a few Lush facial masks that are specified for acne prone and dry skin. I'm really interested in getting some recommendations for skin care that is specific for dryness. The most I'm willing to spend is about $45 maximum so any recommendations for products would be greatly appreciated! I'm so excited to see what everyone recommends. I don't currently have any pictures of my dry skin because I just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I haven't done anything to my face for a few days, but the majority of the dryness is in my T-zone and on my chin and oddly my eyebrows get really dry too. Thanks again!! xoxo
