I'm currently using Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream, but I'm looking for something with a little more coverage, preferably in the same price range. I got a sample of Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer a couple months back and absolutely loved it, but I really can't afford to be spending that much on a product I'll use up so quickly. Does anyone know of any dupes? Or what is your favorite drugstore BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer/CC Cream with medium coverage? http://www.sephora.com/tinted-moisturizer-broad-sp ectrum-oil-free-P140906?skuId=1531441
I have dry patches under my eyes, the area just above my cheekbone, and every time I apply my foundation (Lancôme Rénergie Lift Makeup SPF 20), my foundation just sits on top of the dry patches and flakes off. Is there a foundation that could help with that or a way for me to hydrate my skin/get rid of the dry patches? Thanks!
I've made a post about this before and I was advised that the little skin-coloured bumps on my skin are actually clogged pores. It looks even WORSE when I wear foundation (wearing MUFE HD foundation in the pic). So I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do... (I think). I'm drinking lots of water everyday, I'm moisturizing, I'm exfoliating, I bought a clarisonic to cleanse-- but the bumps are still there. I think they might have gotten worse actually. Here are the products I use: Boscia Makeup-breakup Oil cleanser, Purity Made Simple cleanser with the Clarisonic, Peter Thomas Roth exfoliating peel gel (twice-a-week). I use Clinique moisture surge or dramatically different lotion for my very dry skin. Is there another product I should be buying? I need help
My skin is extremely dehydrated and dull lately. I use a clarisonic every night but no matter how much I exfoliate it never seems to look anything but rough. Large pores on my cheeks, lines on my forehead & an uneven looking texture all over. My skin is extremely sensitive and is frequently irritated on top if all this. My moisturizer does nothing for the dryness & my makeup looks awful sitting on the roughness. I use cetaphil face wash, cerave moisturizer spf 30 & MyChelle hyaluronic acid serum at night I'm only 28, please help!
I've been getting lots of oil around my nose and dry patches on my cheeks and forehead. Currently I wear It cosmetics cc cream but just purchased the Peter Thomas Roth CC cream which I haven't tried yet. On these little dry patches on my skin, the make up is caking. what should I do?
Hello, all. I am Janet, friends call me Jo. I work for a firm in Toronto. I am an accountant by profession. The work is hectic and because of this, my face has become dull . I happened to follow a diet plan so as to control my weight and belly size and after this, I got a wonderful change in my overall size of my body. But my face got saggy and turned dull. My skin was dry, so I underwent a facelift treatment ( http://www.drkreidstein.com/our-procedures/face/fa cial-rejuvenation-surgery/facelift/ ) two months before at Michael Kreidstein centre and I could get a wonderful change in my saggy face. But after that, I didn't use much foundation or any kind make ups. Before I used Maybelline foundation and Makeup forever-HD product as my skin was dry. It's my sister's wedding next month, and I don't know what kind of products that I should be using. Any products you got to suggest for me? I need to hide scars too,so is there any products that would help me in this situation? Will the products that I used before help me in this situation? I want to look awesome in her marriage and I don't want anyone to see my scars. Any suggestions for me?
Hi all- I have extremely dry, flaky sensitive skin with moderate redness. Lately I've been having some problems when I apply my makeup and even after just washing my face and moisturizing. It seems like no amount of lotion, cream, oil, ect can moisturize my skin and keep the flakes from happening. And after applying my makeup, my nose feels extremely rough (almost like sandpaper). I'm thinking I may need to incorporate an exfoliator into my routine maybe once/twice a week but I have very sensitive skin on top of the dryness so I'm concerned about irritation. About 6-8 months ago I tried to incorporate a drugstore scrub into my routine about once a week (I think it was one by the brand Alba) but I felt like it was too harsh. Any suggestions on a good exfoliator for very dry, sensitive skin? I have been looking into the First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads and possibly the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel, but I've never used a chemical exfoliant before. Any advice is appreciated! Current Skincare Routine: Morning- no face soap (just splash my face with a little bit of lukewarm water), Milk Makeup facial oil, Say Yes To Cucumbers Soothing facial moisturizer (drugstore) Evening- Fresh Soy Facial Cleanser, coconut oil, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Intense Hydration cream I use Smashbox hydrating primer, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, NARS radiant creamy concealer, and Sephora brand pressed bronzer powder as far as my daily face makeup routine. The tinted moisturizer and concealer I normally apply with a damp beauty blender.
My skin is feeling dry right now I am using the Kate Somerville Goats Milk Moisturizer but still feels dry..I have very sensitive skin...any suggestions...I am using smash box primer over the goat milk and wondering if that could be causing the dryness....any suggestions? Do I need a different moisturizer? Thanks!
I have dry skin and I was wondering what order y'all do your skincare in at night or in the morning and maybe what products you use to help with the dryness. Also, how long should I wait to put on makeup after my skincare routine?
Does anyone know of any skincare-only subscription boxes? I just cancelled my Birchbox subscription, since the points system was really the only reason I was sticking around, so I'm looking for a replacement. I'm pretty picky with makeup, but still new to the world of skincare, so it'd be nice to find a subscription box with only skincare items (not mask-only boxes, though). I have looked into some of the Korean skincare boxes, Miss Tutii and MishiBox in particular, but I'm a little wary of the quality of some of the cheaper Korean brands that are often in those boxes and I am very uncomfortable at the prospect of getting skin-whitening products. I also have gotten the impression that a lot of Korean skincare products are for oily skin, and since I have very dry skin, I would have to have a box that is customized for dry skin. I would love to hear from subscribers about their experiences with different boxes!
Hi everyone. I have a problem. So I used to falsies like all the time. But I got sick back in January and after that, my eyelids would get so irritated with wearing falsies. As in it would get super itchy and it's so dry and I would get cuts because of it being so dry. I've tried different glues and I've tried non adhesive but it's not working ): has anyone else ever been through this? What can I do?? Falsies are a big part of me ):
I have dry skin underneath my nose just above my lips and also on the sides of my nose, sometimes it is flaky and sometimes it's bright red and inflamed. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would really appreciate your help!!x
Everyday I feel more and more uncomfortable in my skin. I have fair, sensitive, acne prone dry/combo skin, with acne scars on the sides of my cheeks. Seeing girls with flawless skin and makeup applications makes me feel more self-conscious about my skin and makeup that never seems to look right on me. Too drying and matte, too illuminating and oily, too powdery etc. No matter what foundations or techniques or primers I've used, nothing seems to change. I'd like to toss out everything that I've got and start fresh, including my skin care products and choice of foundation, starting with skin care first. Currently I'm using Garnier face wash for sensitive skin, L'oreal alcohol-free toner, and moisturizer also from Garnier with SPF 30. Once in a while I exfoliate, but I've flipped flopped between products since my skin is sensitive to abrasive beads that are usually in those products. Any suggestions would be amazing! Thank you!
For about the past 2 months my foundation looks gross aroundmy nose. The top of my nose is a little oily, while the sides of nose are dry. I use either the Nivea mens post shave balm that everyone talks about or the maybelline baby skin primer. I switch out between my Loreal infallible pro matte, Maybelline fit me matte and poreless or the revlon colorstay foundations. I have stopped wearing makeup because I don't know what to do. Im looking for something on the affordable side if possible, no more than $30. Thanks!!
so basically I have dry, rather sensitive skin, and I'm looking for some great skincare products. I'd like to start anti-aging now even though I'm only 18. So what cleansers, serums, masks, eye creams, moisturizers, and night creams should i look into? xoxo
Hi there. So I just recently made my first Lush purchase. I bought the Mask of Magnaminty and the Full of Grace serum. I was wondering which cleanser would be best to use for my skin. I have dry skin with redness and just finished treating my rosacea. Thanks so much for any and all responses. :-)
Hi! I am looking for a cleanser to use with my Clarisonic, and was wondering what you recommended. I have dry to normal and sensitive skin that is the slightest bit oily in the T-zone. Thanks in advance!
I am 22 years old and have always had dry, acne prone skin. I have been struggling because my skin has flakes (dry skinned girls you know what I mean) and it clings to any kind of makeup so I look extra flaky and cakey. The problem is my body tends to over compensate by kicking up oil production so by the end of the day I'm more combination. I'm assuming it's all the oil and the flakes combined that clog my pores and cause my acne issues (correct me if I'm wrong please). I just want to know if there are any types of products, specific products or routine that I can use to break the vicious cycle. Any help would be appreciated!!!
I don't know what this is, but I just have dry, flaky skin just at the creases of my nose that are particularly visible when I wear makeup (mineral or liquid) and I don't know how to get rid of it. I've tried good moisturizers, but it doesn't seem to work and it's very isolated to just the nose crease. I do have dry skin in general, but a good moisturizer usually takes care of any dryness EXCEPT here. It's not so much "patches" of skin, it looks maybe more like pores that have flaked off or something. It's hard to describe. Maybe I will take a picture. Does anybody know what the heck I'm talking about? lol If so, what skin regiment would you recommend?
Hello! So I have very dry skin year round. I have dry patches by my nose and sometimes on my cheeks and chin. I have been using many different skin care products to make my skin happy and hydrated but can't seem to find the right products. I have been researching about the skin care line called First Aid Beauty and was wondering if those products would be good for me to use. Just wanted some opinions. Thanks!
I used to use a combination of Philosophy Omega 3,6,9 Replenishing Oil and Decleor Ultra Cocooning cream. The new Philosophy Replenishing glee is inferior and the Omega oil by FRESH is no where near as hydrating. Unfortunately Decleor updated it's ultra cocooning cream and it's not the same. I'm searching for equivalent replacements without glycolic acid, retinol etc as I use these separate. Looking for a super duper hydrating night cream please help!
Hello! I have always had oily combo skin. As soon as I turned 30 my skin has been so dry and dehyrated! I have tried a few foundations and have returned them. Nothing sits well. I am looking for a hydrating foundation
