problem after linking accounts
Hi,
I emailed customer service earlier and had my previously unlinked online account and beauty insider card linked. However, after this was done the 166 points I had in my online account have changed to 1 point. I did not return a purchase or redeem my points online; my points were lost as a result of linking the two accounts.
I also had points on my card, and those have disappeared also after the accounts were linked. I know I had points because when I made my last purchase on this past Wednesday (July 11, 2012), the cashier asked if I wanted to redeem them for a sample and I had said no. I have NOT made any returns recently, so that cannot be a reason for my missing points.
Lastly, I have made enough in-store purchases this year to reach or almost reach V.I.B. status, I have the receipts to prove this. However, according to my online account that has been combined with my beauty insider card, I still need to spend $350 to qualify for V.I.B. status. How could this be? That would mean I did not spend a penny at Sephora this ENTIRE year!
I am quite upset and want to know what is going on with the situation with my missing points; why my purhcase history is empty; and I now need to spend another $350 to get to V.I.B. I have emailed Customer Service several times and no one has actually given me a straight answer, it is getting rather frustrating at this point!
