my order was cancelled and i can't understand why

Hi, I have a complaint, it´s the third time I'm trying to buy and ship to LA, I finish my order and receive the confirmation email but after a while I receive another one notifying me that the order was cancelled saying "For your own security and protection, we have cancelled your order #xxxxxxx because we were unable to confirm your payment information. We have included the order information below so that you can review the details of your order." and I can't understand why this is happening! My credit card isn't from the US, this might be the reason?
