I love the Lorac concealer/highlighter but Sephora no longer has it in stock. I have semi-fair skin with yellow undertones and this is one of the only products I've found that's not too pink. Does anyone know of something comparable? I've tried bobbi brown's concealer but I don't like the size for the price.
Hello, I've been having this issue since always. I've contacted support on two occasions about this but did not get a definite answer. Under earning points it says that I suppose to get 1 point per 1 dollar spent. Some how, when shopping on Canadian site I never get 1point/dollar. Just as now, I spent C $125 (before tax) on Josie Maran Argon Oil, but got only 96 point (I had 78, and now have 174). Please don't tell me that there is nothing wrong with my points because clearly I get much less points than I should (according to 1 dollar =1 point principle). Can anyone explain what is going on with Canadian points? Why am I not getting 1 point/dollar? Thank you.
I don't go around life asking for peoples sympathy, but due to my handicap, I would say that I am almost powerless and I have to depend on someone being able to sign for me in order to communicate, or I might have to write everything in order for the other person to also write back to me. This can be both awkward and dehumanizing, also time consuming and irritating for those who have to either wait around me, or are dealing with me and trust me, I have been at the receiving end. My remaining senses are keen, I can see the other persons eye rolling, I can tell when the persons lips are smirking and having a private dig at me with another person who is obviously eye balling me and smirking at the same time. I can see their body language. I have been hurt far too many times in life in order to list it all here. I know that there are some mean people about but just as much kind people too. I have received an item that most likely got damaged via shipping. Whether it got dropped, thrown, however it is that UPS handled this particular package throughout its travels, whether intentional, whether unintentional; sure enough my philosophy set ($28) was damaged, product was leaking inside the philosophy box, it was a mess, and I didn't bother opening it to further inspect as it would most likely create a bigger mess and I think I would deserve to receive (Just like anyone else) an item in perfect condition, without having to deal with leakage, mess, or expect to 'salvage' it by cleaning the mess off, and be happy with whatever is left of the product. I don't think for a moment that this is what Sephora intended. I think if Sephora added a 'fragile' label for containers that can possibly suffer damage with unintentional impact caused throughout the transit, that maybe perhaps the carrier might just carry and place gently instead of it being tossed or thrown. I contacted Sephora about the damaged and messy product received. I was detailed. I was precise. I was genuine. I then received an email by customer support that said the product was no longer available for reshipment (And I still saw the item available on the site- up until earlier today) and that I needed to call their number. I replied- I explained I am deaf. I got another message saying to dispute the charge with my bank and if I had further questions to call them (again)- and at this point I am very confused because there wasn't a dispute, I wasn't demanding anything, I was communicating with the merchant (Sephora), the merchant knows what was wrong- This isn't ebay or paypal where a situation like this could be dealt with via hostility on merchants side. I replied and asked them for a store credit and I would pay the difference for purchase the gingerbread house set ($34)- I received no answer to that email. I wrote another email asking for assistance and that it was innapropriate to request a deaf person to call their number after already being notified that I am deaf about 4 times so far- this time for the second time, I was recommended to dispute the charge (I guess this way, if I had followed through, I would be automatically blocked from future purchases with the card I had filed a dispute with) Besides, chargebacks/ card disputes are for those who truly need to, not when you have open communication with the company. It's a long, lengthy process, paperwork, and it just seemed plain wrong. I emailed one last time, asking for the item to be re shipped, since it is on the site again (it disappeared shortly then came back) and I was met with the final email before posting this that basically said "we no longer have the item, we are going to refund you, but we will never honor another purchase via the site from you ever again and by the way, here are two locations nearest you, so that you may receive assistance via a 'cast member' and purchase and get an undamaged item in the future" There was more of course, but this was the point of the email. To me, this is so heartbreaking, dehumanizing, they do not know my health issues and how hard it would be to travel 10 miles and 14 miles away from where I exist/ live. I do not drive. I cannot drive. I was made to sound like something that nobody wanted to be bothered with. I feel like garbage. This is truly a sad experience for me and my spirits are low right now.
I've bought couple products in store using my BI card during past 3 months but none of the points have shown up in my account. Is there a way to combine my Beauty Insider points that I’ve earned in the store with the points I earn from online shopping? I’d like to see how far I have to get to VIB. Please advise. Thanks.
I saw the promotion for double points on skincare items, so I purposefully added in a skincare package. However, I noticed my points didn't double for that specific item purchase. (I made sure that my item was included with this promotion) Is it not immediate? How do I get the points fixed? Thanks!
How can I find out if I'm a VIB? I just made a purchase which now totals into 374 points. I understand that you need 350 for VIB status but I'm not sure if I made the cut since I also heard the spending has to be done within a year. How can I find out if I made it in time?
I bought NARS Creamy Concealer a few months ago (around Thanksgiving) and they were sold out of the shade that I wanted so I thought I would just settle for one that they had. But it turns out that the shade is way too pink for me. Will I be able to exchange it for the correct shade or will I have to repurchase the concealer?
I bought a NARS Matte Multiple stick in a store a few weekends ago after trying it on in the store. I brought it home and wore it twice and have noticed how horrible looks with some of my other face makeup products and in other lighting. I LOVE the product, but hate the color. I no longer have the receipt and have opened and used the product (very minimally). Is there any way for me to exchange it for a color that works better for me? I don't want a refund, just an exchange. I am a VIB and it shows up in my account as a product that I purchased, but there's no actual receipt.
Dear Customer Service, I placed an online order today. With my BI points, I also purchased the item below for 500 points. BI 500 PTItem # 1572403 Nars Iconic Set - Nars Iconic Set However, now that I am tracking my order status, this item shows "permanently out of stock". Do I get my points back? I wish I had known this item was out of stock. I would have used my points to get some other items instead.
Hi there, I placed a large Sephora order on February 25th, and my mailing address is a PO box in canada...So i had the item shipped to my physical location at work. I may be losing my mind lol. Help please
I am a VIB, and i'm pretty sure its tied to my email since that's what they ask you for to find it in store, but when i go to the site it tells me i have 0 points and won't let me sign in anywhere to show that I already have points -- it only gives me the option to sign up for the service... help.
I don't understand why? I placed the order and the money was transferred (I use a debt card ) I used it before and I received my order.
but this time after few hours of placing the order I received an email stating " For your own security and protection, we have cancelled your order because we were unable to confirm your payment information"
the only thing I changed this time was the shipping address because it was a gift and I chose the gift option.
thank in advance
To be honest I might not shop at Sephora as much as they would like me to but I did eventually became one of their "VIB ROUGE" members. Since then I've received emails for our "special perks" but aside from that .... nothing spectacular. It wasn't a big deal until I started not being able to redeem certain perks because they "were out of stock" immediately after I receive my emails. THis time around I received the email for the VIBLOVER code for the Lancome Lip Lover deluxe sample and decided to place an order that very day. Already went well, received my package in 2 days (shipping is outstanding) but OF COURSE MY SAMPLE isn't in the package. Everything was listed on my packing slip and MARKED OFF THAT IT WAS IN MY PACKAGE - but it was MIA. I called the so called "VIB ROUGE HOTLINE" and of course no one answers. I called the regular customer service line and I get the run around by a representative named "Dane" basically telling me he was "SORRY" but they cant do anything. What probably upsets me the most is that Sephora isn't taking the responsibility that their staff is packing orders with their eyes closed! So in their system I have everything packer # 5510 checked off while I don't. Anyone else have issues like this?
Hello, I have a long-standing problem of not receiving email from Sephora. Probably about a year ago I received an email apologizing for a system error that was responsible for me not getting email offers but nothing has changed and I just keep forgetting to get it addressed again. Is there someone who can look into this? I'm VIB rouge status but feel that I'm missing out on all the benefits available to me. For what it's worth, I have no trouble getting email that is initiated by me from ordering through the website. Thank you, Mekenna
Hello I've contacted customer service four times now since January about the fact that when I receive emails for let's say new product info the banner still shows me as vib even though I am a rouge customer. This issue has caused me to miss out on multiple promos and exclusive releases as I do not receive any rouge emails. I have been told different stories each time - such as they have reset my account to the supervisor in charge has updated my case to priority, but it has yet to be fixed. On two of the occasions I have been met with indifference and was once told to visit other make up blogs to find out about the promos-which I don't think is a helpful answer. I am a loyal customer and would really appreciate not only a straight answer, but a resolution as well as this last incident involved the pantone color of the year lipstick and had it not been for a friend I could have missed out on it as well. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can please give me.
On March 2nd, I made two purchases through Sephora.com. Before I made the first purchase, it was stated on my account page that I had only $106 more to go until I reached VIB status. Well, both orders I had recently placed total $118, and my account page is now stating that I need to spend another $46 to reach VIB status. I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this. Thank you.
I previously purchased the Sephora brand moisturizing serum and now I can't find it, does that mean that they are no longer making it. I have very dry skin and the Sephora intensive moisturizer is just not enough moisture for my skin.
Hello, Is there a way to keep track of your points? Such as how many points your spent and earned overtime? I never receive any e-mails from Sephora even though I subscribed. I did contact customer service and hopefully it will be resolved. The reason I'm saying this is because I kept finding about sephora sales and promotions through google and blogs. Since I discovered this community I've been seeing a lot of posts about the point system and especially the 2x 3x 4x point event. I've been looking through my past purchases trying to figure out if there is a way to track them or even see overtime what I spent them on. Is there another way other than looking through your past purchases and trying to calculate them? Sorry for the long description and thank you very much.
