VIB question - confused!!!

when will I receive my vib card?  I used the 10% welcome promo in a sephora store - is the 10% the welcome offer - do I get a welcome kit too?  the lady said the 10% offer is also the welcome kit? - it didn't sound right, but I didn;t want to argue

The welcome kit is the 10% discount. There's no separate VIB card, although some people have a VIB sticker on their BI card.

lowrah is correct, there isn't a specific VIB card associated with the program, you can just use your existing Beauty Insider card. The 10% welcome kit just contains a paper coupon for becoming a new VIB, so it's the same as what you receive in the VIB welcome email .

It's just happened to me today. I looked into the shopping bag when I walked out the store and found nothing more than the two items I purchased. So I went back and asked the cashier. She said the printed email I handed to her was the welcome kit. IT IS SO CONFUSING. If I didn't see other people saying the same thing here, I might think she took my kit. I hope Sephora would have better descriptions when they send out emails. No one will expect to get one offer (the 10% discount) from scanning two barcodes. Am I making sense?
