I purchased some foundation in August that didn't match my skin at all. It has been sitting in the sephora bag in my room for months and I just completely forgot about it. Would I still be able to take it back for exchange or refund? Also it is from a Sephora in JCP but I only have a regular Sephora where I live so if I am able to take it back would it be fine to take it to a regular store?

With returns, it's always best to call the specific store you're planning to visit to ask (particularly if it's been a few months). That way, there are no surprises. They will probably ask if you still have the receipt and packaging, etc. Since more than 90 days have passed, you may not be able to get a refund in the original form of payment, but you might be able to get the credit for an exchange (but I'd definitely ask).
