Well it's 4 AM. After placing my order about 15 minutes ago I find that my shipping address was overwritten. I checked and my order went from placed to sent to warehouse within 5 minutes. I don't know what to do... I don't live at my old house and now I will never get my makeup because it's 3 states away! Is there anything I can do before this order gets shipped or do I have to wait 4 hours for them to tell me that my make up is lost forever?!

Again, terrible experience. I had selected the correct shipping address only to have this selection overwritten when I forgot to enter my phone number. Now my order is being sent to an address where I no longer live and I have no way of correcting this situation. 

I absolutely need to be able to change my shipping address. It is time to upgrade your system and allow customers to modify their orders when your call center is closed. I doubt I'll be ordering from Sephora again; it's just not worth the trouble. BUYERS BEWARE!

I thought i was the only one. I just ordered on Sephora website today and by mistake I put 3 days shipping instead of a faster delivery. I asked if I can cancel my order so I can reorder or change the delivery to a faster shipping and they say no! There's nothing we can do. Sephora what terrible customer service! I'm Very upset!

I just place my order 5 minuets ago as well. I put in the free marc jacobs that was available for $25 dollar orders. The reason I spent my money was to try that. Everything was fine and it was in my basket, next thing I know in email its not in my order. I called up thinking it'd be a quick fix. NOPE. I was told I shouldn't cancel and just go to the store near me after I get m package like that'd actually do anything, but cause a bigger mess. I told him to cancel. They have to cancel my order now and it could take up to days "IF it goes through". I'm not so sure about here now because I have had a problem the first time purchasing. I'm really upset right now.

i cancelled my order bc it timed out on me and didnt update my cart, before i clicked checkout. so now i have a hold on my account for 79 dollars that i want to use for my new order. i swear if the limited edition stuff i want is out of stock i'm going to be so mad.

I literally just placed an order and it is still "pending". Called customer service right away to cancel and they said they can't. The order isn't even "placed", just "pending". What system is sephora operating on that they can't do a simple task to cancel an order??? Seriously, the most difficult online shopping experience!

Literally on hold right now for the same thing. My order went from "placed" to "sent to warehouse" while on hold. I just did the order like an hour ago. I've been on hold for 50 minutes!!! WTF, Sephora?

My order still says "placed" as I just ordered something 5 minutes ago. My first payment process didn't go through because Sephora's website crashed and it automatically reloaded the wrong info (despite me deleting it out of my Sephora address book). I didn't notice the change and I called customer service immediately-- They will neither cancel the order nor edit the shipping address. They told me I have to call in 24 hours to change the shipping address which I think is ridiculous. 

 

So annoyed!

I having the same issue with everyone here, I ordered the make up online as birthday gift for my friend,but I put wrong address now I can't be able to cancel my order.
i called 2 min after I purchase but the customer service can't help anything, the first one say,she will change the shipping address for me but I checked couple hour later and 12 hours later, the address still the same. So I called again, another customer service tell me I can be able to change online myself,I have been trying but I still can't change anything. I feel like sephora make it so hard to change or cancel the online order and they seems doesn't care to solve this problem even people have been complaining about the same issue for 5 years.

I need help. I placed my order at 12:08 am and now it's 7:36am. I live in USA Virginia abs I'm trying to call the "world of sephora," to talk to a customer service representative but it says there not open. I really need to cancel my order. It's very urgent.

I definitely agree with this. There should be at least an hour of buffer period where a customer can change their order...

If the status of your order still says “Placed,” then we may be able to cancel it if you call us immediately at 1-877-SEPHORA (1-877-737-4672). Beauty Advisors are available Mon-Fri 6am-9pm and Sat&Sun 8am-5pm PST.

 

Once the order status says “Sent to Warehouse,” we are unable to cancel or modify the order.

 

The timeframe for when the order moves from “Placed” to “Sent to Warehouse” is very short, so if you can’t get through to us in time, you can use the return label provided in the package to return products free of charge for a refund.

That's very poor costumer service in my opinion.You should be able to modify an order if it hasn't even been received yet. I'm in the same position and now I have to be glued to my email and call again customer service or else have my stuff sent to my old address.
