Didn't receive free samples

I made an order last week and it came today, however although I received the deluxe sample kit that I used a code for, NONE of the three samples I chose came! 😞 They're on my order under my account, but the slip in the box didn't list anything except my core products and the deluxe set. 

Is this a common theme, that people don't receive any of the samples they choose? One of the reasons I like to order online instead of go to a physical store is to try out new products.
