Alternative to Philosophy Purity Cleanser for Semi-Sensitive Combination Skin?
Hello all,   I have finally run out of my Philosophy cleanser and am eager to try something new.  I loved that it took all my makeup off and didn't further dry out my skin, but while the product itself didn't cause any breakouts, it wasn't preventing any hormone-related breakouts or doing anything super wonderful/noticeable for my skin. I am not looking for an acne treatment.  I ordered and am currently waiting to receive the Origins Checks and Balances cleanser, but if you have any other suggestions for me or have personal experience with Origins, I'm  all ears!   Skin concerns: -semi-sensitive -combination/dry -dull -hormonal breakouts -anti-againg? (not necessary, but would be a plus for prevention purposes)

Best oil-free moisturizer for winter?
Hello all,   With colder weather creeping in, I'm wondering what oil-free moisturizer is best to tackle drier winter skin. I have dry-combination skin (oily in the t-zone, dry cheeks/chin/ and especially the jawline) and therefore find that oil-free moisturizers work best with my skin.  I have been using Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel for a very long time and without issues in the spring and summer months, but find that it doesn't moisturize my dry areas enough in the fall/winter.  I have also tried Philosophy's "take a deep breath" oil-free moisturizer, but  it irritated and broke out my skin.    I would love to know of this type of product with anti-aging/SPF, but any help is appreciated!

COMBO VS OILY SKIN - HOW DO YOU TELL?!
Hi there! For years and years, I've been trying to figure out what skin type I have. I personally feel like its OILY - where if I wash my face at 8am, I feel like it's oily by noon. However, not every aspect of my face is oily. Definitely more so in the T-Zone. So then I thought, ok maybe I have combination skin. But in reading beauty advice/tips... it always says that the areas outside of the T-zone (cheeks) are usually dry and flakey. Which mine are NOT. My cheeks are normal.. oily by the end of day. But my forehead, nose, chin are oily all the time.    So, does that mean I have combination skin or oily skin?!

Cleansing oil for makeup removal/before cleanser?
Do you use cleansing oil primarily as a means to remove makeup and then follow up with cleanser?  I am considering implementing cleansing oil into my routine but I've never used it before, so I'm unsure.  I also have combination slightly oily skin with sporadic spot breakouts, so I'm afraid that cleansing oil could potentially make this worse.     If you do use cleansing oil, what do you use?  What do you recommend for someone with combination slightly oily skin that is concerned about breakouts (but also wants to focus on anti-aging)?     Thanks so much!

Moisturizing Facial Spray.... recommendations please
I'm looking for a facial spray that I can use mid day to perk up my face when it's feeling or looking dry. With the colder weather and my office building blasting the dry heat, I could really use a moisture boost by afternoon. I need something that will make me feel hydrated but that will not disturb my makeup. I wear a full face to work and I need it to stay undisturbed. I have the Clinique Moisture Surge spray and while it worked well over the summer it's not doing the job now. If I try just adding an extra squirt or two it gets sticky and gross.   Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions

I need help with my skincare
I'm kind of at a loss here as I really have no idea what my skin needs.. I keep buying products that end up not working for me.   The area around my nose is very dry and so is my forehead, however, my forehead gets extremely oily throughout the day.   My pores are huge, I have a ton of blackheads around my nose area and on my chin.   I've recently tried Hope in a Jar but it made my skin incredibly greasy and caused my skin to break out. The purity cleanser that I got with it was extremely drying for my skin. Also just tried the oil free moisterizer from Kate Somerville which I thought was working great, but after 3 days my skin had another breakout.   I'm looking for anything and everything. Moisterizers, serums, cleansers, exfoliators, day/night creams..   Thanks for the help!

Fresh soy moisturizer- discontinued!?
When my Fresh soy moisturizer ran out, I was so upset to find out that it had been discontinued. It worked so well for my combination/break-out prone skin. The weather is turning colder where I live, which is already starting to lead to dryness and breakouts for me. I'm definitely in need of a comparable replacement-- any suggestions?

Clarins x Dermalogica
So I have friends who work for both companies and each swears by their own products. I've been a slacker in terms of skin care and want to find a good regimen to commit to.   Any thoughts about these two brands? Or is there a third one that will show more dramatic results?   My biggest concerns: - Puffy dark circles around my eyes - Wrinkles around eyes (not super strong, if I have to pick one, the puffiness is worse) - Skin is rougher on cheeks but I get pimples in my chin more often then I think it's fair   Maybe three times a month or so... There's one starting right now    So I think maybe something with retin acid could help...

What Type of Cleanser Do You Use With Your Clarisonic?
Hi all,      I've had a Clarisonic for about 3 years now, and I'm curious to hear from others who use them to find out what cleansers you use with yours?   I never liked the texture of any of the samples that came with my machine, so I've been using Bliss' Fabulous Foaming Face Wash.   It does a nice job, but lately I feel like I've gotten complacent and have been restless to try something new.   Any suggestions?   I have combination skin and use the sensitive brush head.  I tried the luxe brushes a while back but found they felt like they weren't doing anything.

Clairsonic Mia 3 vs Mia 2
Hi Ladies,    I need some help in deciding with Clairsonic to get. I've narrowed it down to either the Mia 2 or 3 and I can't seem to decide between the two. I'm really liking the holiday sets that are out.    A little about me: I have normal/combo skin, not acne prone or anything. My t-zone can get a little oily. I've been using Clinique's 3 Step # 2 for the past 10 years or so and I've been happy with it, but I think its time to add some deeper cleaning/exfoliating.   Is the Mia 3 with the Cashmere Brush Head worth the extra $50?  The  Mia 2 Hydra Cleanse Set comes with 2 brush heads - is that a better buy? I'm in Canada, so the prices I've noted are higher than the US prices.   $230 Mia 3 Holiday Gift Set Comes with: - White Mia 3/Aria  - Clarisonic Lux Cashmere Cleanse Brush Head  - Drying stand  - USB Enabled Universal Voltage pLink® Charger  - 1 oz Clarisonic Gentle Hydro Cleanser  - 0.1 oz Amorepacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel  - 0.5 oz Caudalie Premier Cru The Cream  - 0.23 oz Algenist Advanced Anti-Aging Repairing Oil  - 5 Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare™ Alpha Beta® Peels, Original Formula    $180 Mia 2 Glow Holiday Set: - Joy Mia 2  - Sensitive Brush Head  - Protective Travel Case  - Universal Voltage pLink® Charger  - 3 oz Philosophy® Purity Made Simple Cleanser  - 0.5 oz Ole Henriksen Truth Serum® Collagen Booster  - 0.17 Bliss® Triple Oxygen® ex-'glow'-sion!
