Toners/Lot ions
My skin is combination/normal and is very sensitive to a lot of toners but Clinique's Mild Clarifying Lotion is too oily for me. What are some toners for very sensitive skin that don't feel oily or greasy on my combination/normal skin? My skin is normal in my cheeks and nose but is a bit oily on my forehead, brow line, and chin. Would a spray toner be better for me? What toners would work best for me?

Hi eternityandaday,
I agree with saturnswings, sometimes using a stronger cleanser that removes all product will be a better choice for you than to have to use a toner after cleansing the face.
If you use a toner, try one of the following which may be better suited for your skin type. ![]()
Lancome Tonique Radiance

Sephora Collection Instant Refreshing Toner

Ole Henriksen Balancing Cucumber Facial Tonic

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

Whether you use a pour bottle toner or a spray on toner is not too much of a difference, but I sometimes prefer the cool mist of a spray on toner. One that is put on a cotton ball and applied CAN be better at removing any buildup that may be on the skin. ![]()

I have "normal" skin with oil in t-zones (just as frame of reference for you). I've used Caudalie's toner to great effect (still using it now). It is super gentle and sooths any tingles/whatnot your cleanser might have left.
A second option is Josie Maran's argan oil cleanser. It doesn't require a separate toner or makeup remover (saving you a step or two) and is super duper gentle. I don't know that I'd recommend it if you have any really really areas on your face (but hey, other may disagree), but it is an otherwise really great cleanser (that takes off waterproof makeup easily so that's why I'm defaulting to this cleanser during this party season).
I've also used Lancome's in the past (the blue bottle). It's gentle enough if you're worried about that, but I don't know that it really did anything for me. I couldn't feel a difference either way.

Origins A Perfect World toner is amazing. It never leaves an oily residue and feels truly refreshing.
