What are some ways to make your skin look healthier or more refreshed?

I've found myself always looking tired and it's hard to come across a nice product or cleanser that really makes your skin feel as if it just took a drink of water! Any Sugesstions?

Benefit Highbeam is a nice luminizer that really brightens up the skin. Put it on your cheekbones, under inner eye corner, and top of browbones to highlight your face. Another trick is to make a V with a white eyeliner in the inner corner of your eyes, this opens up the eye and makes you look like you had a full nights sleep.


Eating fruits and vegetables and getting a full nights sleep will definitely make your skin look brighter, as will drinking plenty of water.

Other than diet, drinking plenty of water and getting adequate sleep, I really like Clinique Moisture Surge.  I put mine in the fridge for a little bit (especially in the summer) and then put it on.  Feels SO good and moisturizing!

Implement a skin care regimen that works for your skin that you WILL follow.  Find products that work for and with your skin to make it look the best it can.  Be sure to take your makeup off before bedtime.  Exfoliation is IMPORTANT!  The older you get, the more important it is to exfoliate!  Try using a cleanser that doesn't strip your face of natural oils.  I use Philosophy's "Purity Made Simple"  and I think it is fantastic!  It cleanses my face and my skin feels clean and soft after washing (not irritated and dry!).  Using a good night cream is also a great way to keep your skin moisturized.  "Frankincense Revitalizing Night Cream" by REN works well at keeping my skin hydrated and soft.  Hope this helps!
