Peeling Nose

I have a problem! My nose peels CONSTANTLY. I moisturizer daily, I've used gentle cleansers, I've tried exfoliating, I've tried not exfoliating, I switch brands, I've tried sticking with brands, I've changed cleansers, lotions, makeup types (liquid, powder, etc), not wearing makeup (this doesn't last long), drinking water, etc.

My skin used to be pretty good, although the nose peeling thing has been ongoing for years. Over the past year or so, though, I have been getting more and more acne prone on my face and back. Not sure what the problem is or how to solve it. Also, I think salicylic acid makes me break out a bit more.

I know I need to go to a dermatologist, but any product suggestions until then? 25 years old, fair skin, flaky and oily nose, blackheads, occasional breakouts. Help!

I would try the following simple, yet effective cleansing and treatment regimen to get rid of any blackheads, whiteheads and enlarged pores you may have, plus enhance your skin's overall clarity.

Start out with Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Cleanser which is a daily foaming cleanser with powerful botanicals for combination/oily skin types.  It dissolves impurities, refines enlarged pores, and clears blackheads and whiteheads while controlling excess oil, leaving your skin squeaky clean.  You can find it here:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P9523&categoryId=B70

Then I would use Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner which is an effective blackhead and oil extractor that is so effective it only needs to be used two to three times a week.  It helps loosen blackheads by absorbing dirt and excess oil.  It leaves your complexion smooth, clear and refined.  This deep cleansing essential contains alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, silicone dioxide, and eijitsu rose for maximum pore clarifying performance.  You can find it here:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P236007&categoryId=B70

Finally, for your flaky and oily nose, I would suggest using a good, non-comedogenic moisturizer such as Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion.  It is a moisturizer that will keep your skin hydrated while it controls excess oil and mattifies shine at the same time.  Since it's a non-comedogenic moisturizer, it will not clog your pores or cause breakouts.  You can find it here:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P254204&categoryId=B70

Hope this helps! :smileyhappy:
