I was able to use a sample of Capture Totale Dreamskin by Dior and I love it! But i can't justify the price tag. Is there another primer that you recommend that evens out skintone and brightens the way the Dior one did for me? Thanks!
Alright Sephora friends, I am currently looking for a complete NEW skin care routine! My main goal is to reverse my mild post acne spots, discolorations, & slight scarring as well as maintain a fresh, smooth, radiant complexion after I fix my main concern. I have done some research and narrowed it down to the brightening Murad line (the Orange one) then I was going to add the post acne marks serum if necessary, Kiehls which I know Sephora doesn't sell (Oops!) and another non-Sephora brand is Roden and Fields and the Unblemish routine. Does anyone have reccomendations that would be helpful? I've searched high and low and haven't been able to find a fit for my skin. Please help! Thanks in advance
I had a shade of the YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation as well as a shade of YSL mascara in "My Loves." I noticed that that shade of mascara had disappeared from my list and discovered that it's no longer listed on sephora.com. I had also signed up to be notified of when the Shade B10 in the foundation would come back in stock. I just got an email saying that it's been discontinued. Is this just temporary until the warehouses receive more shipment or is YSL being phased out? Thanks in advance for anything thoughts/info!
I am looking for a daily face mask. I have heard and read that daily face masks should be the never-miss morning beauty routine. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I would like to start this now. I currently use Laura Mercier for cleanser, moisturizer, and tinted moisturizer, but as far as I know that brand does not produce masks. I'm looking for a mask that I can use daily (not just once or twice a week). Any advice?
is the polyglyceral diisostearate ingredient in the Sephora's sun kissed bronzer blusher made from plant source? Please oh please find this out for me. I could not use your product if theres any animal source ingredient in it except for bees.
I am about to subscribe to BoxyCharm and the email says I can do monthly at $21 or yearly at $231 which gives you a free month and 2000 charms. So my question is really about these charms. I read you can redeem them for full size products but Im trying to gauge their worth. If 2000 charms doesnt get you much then Im thinking the monthly subscription is better because you can cancel at any time. Any thoughts on which is the better way to subscribe?
Hi - I was wondering if anyone has tried this yet. I did see a few reviews but didn't get enough info from them, plus it's always nice to chat 'personally' with bt girlfriends about things like this. It says there's "fragrance' listed in the ingredients, but it didn't list anything that gave me a good idea of what the 'fragrance' is - didn't list menthol or peppermint oil or anything like that. Can anyone tell me more about the flavor/fragrance of this? Some of you know fragrance can be a real deal breaker for me (just a whiff can cause major headaches) Anyone have some inside info? The colors look beautiful and I'm always on the look out for a new & better plumper - so any info you could share about any facet of this pretty plumper would be most appreciated. Thanks all.
Hello lovely people! I currently live overseas and I need help with a foundation colour match before I purchase an item online. I've super curious about Too Face's Cocoa powder foundation. I have never bought foundation from any brand that Sephora carries so I cant use their foundation database but I'm an NC20 for MAC's studio fix foundation. Can anyone make a suggestion? Or if you are also an NC20 and have the cocoa foundation what colour do you have? Thanks!! Happy shopping!
Do we have any solid information as to whether there will be special pricing when buying bundles of the new MUFE Artist Shadows? This is from Temptalia's recent post: "If you buy two or more shades, plus the duo compact, it’s $34 ($17/each), and if you purchase three shades with the trio palette, it’s $44 ($14.67/each). The boutique said they were charging $14.33/each after 3." This is no currently showing up, but she mentions in a reply to a comment that she was informed by MUFE that: " When I asked MUFE about the discount not showing, they followed up and said it would be effective August 1st." Is this accurate?
So, on a whim I decided to give Estee Lauder Bath Oil a try last night. Let's just say, the fiance wasn't a massive fan, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is the scent that my grandmother does use, and at a whiff, I do get his point that it smells old lady-ish, but it is also very complex. If you don't stick around to deconstruct the notes it isn't nearly as enjoyable! I was getting hints of rose, woods, and incense with a hint of tuberose. I am quite happy, maybe not an everyday scent, but I like it! The only problem with these complex scents is it's also very easy to overdo it, you know, the "drop a drop a drop of glue, any more is too much glue" poem definitely goes hand in hand with perfume. Admittedly, I did overdo it a smidge last night lol!
Elite Serum Rx (Extra Strength) Eye Serum. Has anyone heard of this eye serum? The only reviews are posted on YouTube by the company of 'people who submitted their own reviews'...hmmm. Lot's to read about the magic potion online Elite Serum.
Just thot id share what works best for me. I use the mia in the morning in the shower with my sheshido cleanser, thus avoiding getting makeup in the brush head. Then I use the luna at night with my estee lauder cream cleanser. The silicone bristles are a cinch to clean make up off. I j u st lather some bath/body works antibacterial soap on it and it cleans right up. I would love to hear other suggestions on this. I will say my skin is glowing because im getting the best of both worlds!
I'm heading to NYC for the weekend and want to check out New London Pharmacy since I hear they are more similar to French pharmacy with the quality of products they have and the brands (including Bioderma!). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for brands I should check out outside of the usual suspects (e.g. La Roche-Posay, Nuxe, Lumene, etc.).
Hello Everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this brand , specifically the Bioelements Stress Solution? Just wondering b/c I have never heard of it. I bought a serum type lotion from FAB (FAB Anti-Redness) a/b a month + or so (haven't tried it), & have since read some new reviews and so on that make me think it's not gonna work out. So, I'm looking for a replacement here (maybe the 3 Little Wonders Set or the PTR Set, idk which would be best) & this just caught my eye while checking my E-mails. Any thoughts or experience w/ Bioelements? Thanks in advance!
Yup! Apparently all models, except the Pro model, have a free engraving offer if you purchase through Clarisonic! Just saw it on their website. It made me wonder what people have asked to have engraved on their Clarisonics.......so.... What name would you have engraved on your Clarisonic? I think this could be a lot of fun. I'm undecided, but "U Can't Touch This" and "Please **kssweetheart** Don't Hurt Em!' are both contenders (both MC Hammer references) How about you guys and gals?
I absolutely love the brown color in this pallet for contouring(sultry) The only problem is that I used it up so quickly(just the one color).....does anyone know what product I can buy that would be just the brown color similar to the one in this pallet? I've searched quite a bit but just am not sure what to buy! I am using the Sultry pallet http://www.sephora.com/microsmooth-baked-sculpting -contour-trio-P378685?skuId=1483619&icid2=Contouri ...
Philosophy is having their F&F sale, I just got an email about it and it's 33% off!! The promo code is "ff33" and it expires on 6/6. I thought it was a nice way to start the month of June and generate some great hauls. I'll see you all in the new "Joyous June Hauls" thread. EDIT - Anyone else have any June Promos to share?
Okay so basically I need new.... well everything! I would love to save as much money as possible but I'd rather spend for something really worth it then get a crummy cheap product. I've found that products with a pH of 5- 6.5 work best for me. The lowest I'll go is 4.5 I would like to know the actual pH and not that it's "balanced" I'm not even sure what that means normally that would mean a oH of 7 and and I've heard your skin is between 4.5-6.5 it's just a tad acidic. Secondly I don't want anything that soaps foams has coco butter or mineral oil natural oils are okay though again depending on pH level also nothing with a lot of alcohol in it I would prefer no alcohol but if it's a very small amount (one of the last ingredients) then it's okay My skin is acne prone and quite sensitive i would want a very gentle cleanser that won't strip skin of oil but I don't want any products that treat acne just ones that won't cause it. Thank you if you can give me suggestions that meet all these needs I need - cleanser - toner - moisturizer - make up remover - primer (preferably that makes skin glow) - translucent powder(talc free) - Foundation or bb or cc that's sheer to medium looks like skin and gives you glowy radiant skin - concealer for blemishes (must be matte very important that it won't break me out more - liquid undereye concealer that brightens - undereye primer (umm tell me what they do) - matte bronzer (talc free, bronzer breaks me out and I think it's the talc maybe) - blush (talc free) - highlighter Very important that they won't break me out and that they are the right pH and everything else on my list above. Thank you thank you thank you! I know it's a lot.
