I heard from a Sephora skincare expert that Boscia is expanding their Tsubaki line. Came home and noticed a couple new products on the website... http://www.sephora.com/tsubaki-cleansing-oil-gel-P 384108?skuId=1565118 http://www.sephora.com/tsubaki-deep-hydration-slee ping-mask-P384109?skuId=1565126
Today I was thinking about products I had never heard of, or didn't expect to find, and then loved. Recently I went by Victoria's Secret (which I don't usually shop for a whole list of reasons), because I had a $10 promo gift card with no minimum purchase... so I figured, free stocking stuffer. But of course I got something for MYSELF haha! I am picky about beauty (and other) products, and normally only use high-end, stuff I've tested, and stuff that's highly recommended. I honestly don't even have any drugstore products in my house, I'm that picky. But I tried their Lip Primer on a whim and I LOVE IT. It's $12, so a reasonable price. It has this velvety not quite matte finish that makes my chapped or irritated lips look smooth and soft with soft edges. I was totally shocked by this sleeper that I have never heard of! It also has the slightest light peachy tint, so it looks great blurred outside my lip line as a smoother and soft of highlighter. It's also not too squishy and not TOO stiff and waxy. I like lip primer on the slightly waxy side. Do you have a favorite find that you weren't expecting, never heard of, or was kind of obscure or surprising? EDIT: In doing a search for this post I found out this product is being discontinued! So sad. I am going to pick another one up this week if they still have them, as a back up. Seriously, this is so sad for me I rarely find a product I love!
Is anyone else excited for Benefit's new products coming soon? Benefit Lollitint: a Candy-Orchid Cheek and Lip Stain and Porefessional Agent Zero Shine: Shine-Vanishing Pro Powder Swatches and more info can be found on Imabeautygeek blog. P.S. Lollitint is available now on Benefit's website.
Does anyone know if the Gingerbread Man scrub is coming to Sephora this year? I buy a tub of it every other year around this time, but this year I've only seen it listed at QVC, and it's sold out. Hope I posted this question in the right board!
Hello all! My mother has asked for a facial peel for christmas and since I'm her favorite (read: only) daughter, I think I'd better oblige. She doesn't have a specific product in mind but I was wondering if either a gel or glycol peel would be better for her skin (normal to oily). She's looking for a product that will brighten and smooth. Any suggestions?
So I came out of Sephora with a negative balance (second time in two days, this is weird) but this time it was at a JCP Sephora. Can I use JCP Sephora gift cards at regular Sephoras, or just JCP Sephoras?
Hi, I am wondering that how I can combine my email account and my VIB card account which I got from the sephora store today? I already had an email account before I get this VIB card. Do I need to cancel the email account? Could you please help me? Thank you.
Hello, I read a lot of reviews and messages on the message boards saying that the Vacuum Cleaner is best used with pore strips. However, I don't want to use pore strips because they damage the surface of the skin and leave open pores that will become more easily clogged. Before I use the Vacuum Cleaner on my nose I use Kate Somerville ExfoliKate and after it dries, I just wash it off. How can I get the best use out of this product?
Bye Bye Undereye Corrector Concentrate - It was just released, I think, this week and is a more concentrated version of their existing concealer. I was just curious how much coverage it provided. If you've tried it, let me know. I'm not sure if the Ulta near me has it for testing.
I am constantly on the lookout for new or new-to-me products. It would be great if the shopping website had a feature where, once on a product page, there would be a running list of similar items or items other customers viewed or purchased for this kind of item as a recommendation. Thanks and I love Sephora! jollister
This is a great mascara...probably one of my all time favorites. When it comes to mascara, one of the important aspects is the brush. If it's a rubber brush, the mascara works best if the brush has short stubby bristles. The other major type of brush are the spindly type of bristles. This mascara has the spindly (for lack of a better word) bristles. Each type has it's own benefits. This mascara manages to pull in all of the best qualities of each type of brush. A great feature of this brush is the rounded shape of the brush. It curls, lifts and separates each lash without clumping!! It gives your lashes that fluttery look and I love it! I will always repurchase this mascara...it's that good! Go get yourself a tube today...you will not be disappointed!!!
I was using a half-size of the purifying cleanser for a while and liked it, and right now I'm using a sample of the black one and......aside from the temporary warming sensation, feels the same as the white one. Product description aside, has anyone used the cleanser from both lines and prefer one or the other? or feel/saw a difference on the skin? Along the same line, how does the black hydration gel compare to the oil-free hydration?
I use a lot of Korean skin care products. I just turned 26, and I'm starting to get lines around my eyes and forehead. I did some research online and came across "syn-ake" or snake. Syn-ake is basically a synthetic snake venom that when applied to the face daily can have similar affects as botox. It is really mild though, you need to use the syn-ake cream everyday and every night consistently. I looked on Ebay and I found that my favorite seller carried syn-ake cream. So I bought a jar and so far I've been using it for a week and I really like it I also bought syn-ake gel eye patches. I have been using them every night as well. So basically my question is, has anyone else used sny-ake cream, or anything syn-ake related??? Not very many people have heard of it (that I've talked to anyway.) If you have been using it, how do you like it so far? Have you noticed any changes to your skin?? I'd really like to hear from people that have tried it!! Thanks for reading
I am interested in trying this product. And I am just wondering if anyone of you ladies have used this product before or have been using it and does it help your skin with what it is claimed to do? I appreciate your help. Thanks.
