I am getting married soon, and I am looking for some really good skin care products to add to my routine in the mornings and/or at night. I have combination skin with minor acne, but I really would like my skin to be at its best on my wedding day - especially when things start to get stressful a couple weeks before! Any other products to reduce fine lines, dark circles, puffy eyes - would also be appreciated I was wondering if anyone had any preferred brands, products, etc. that you think would do the trick!...and make-up suggestions...whatever advice you have to offer I will definitely take into consideration! Thanks so much in advance!
Do we have any solid information as to whether there will be special pricing when buying bundles of the new MUFE Artist Shadows? This is from Temptalia's recent post: "If you buy two or more shades, plus the duo compact, it’s $34 ($17/each), and if you purchase three shades with the trio palette, it’s $44 ($14.67/each). The boutique said they were charging $14.33/each after 3." This is no currently showing up, but she mentions in a reply to a comment that she was informed by MUFE that: " When I asked MUFE about the discount not showing, they followed up and said it would be effective August 1st." Is this accurate?
So, on a whim I decided to give Estee Lauder Bath Oil a try last night. Let's just say, the fiance wasn't a massive fan, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is the scent that my grandmother does use, and at a whiff, I do get his point that it smells old lady-ish, but it is also very complex. If you don't stick around to deconstruct the notes it isn't nearly as enjoyable! I was getting hints of rose, woods, and incense with a hint of tuberose. I am quite happy, maybe not an everyday scent, but I like it! The only problem with these complex scents is it's also very easy to overdo it, you know, the "drop a drop a drop of glue, any more is too much glue" poem definitely goes hand in hand with perfume. Admittedly, I did overdo it a smidge last night lol!
Elite Serum Rx (Extra Strength) Eye Serum. Has anyone heard of this eye serum? The only reviews are posted on YouTube by the company of 'people who submitted their own reviews'...hmmm. Lot's to read about the magic potion online Elite Serum.
I'm starting up my own channel. I honestly don't know where to begin. lol I spend countless hours doing my own researching and experimenting with products for myself so why not share my findings with everyone else? I have a good amount of background experience having previously working for sephora and clinique. Currently I'm in cosmetology school and once I finish plan to go back into the industry to make it as my career.
Just thot id share what works best for me. I use the mia in the morning in the shower with my sheshido cleanser, thus avoiding getting makeup in the brush head. Then I use the luna at night with my estee lauder cream cleanser. The silicone bristles are a cinch to clean make up off. I j u st lather some bath/body works antibacterial soap on it and it cleans right up. I would love to hear other suggestions on this. I will say my skin is glowing because im getting the best of both worlds!
I'm heading to NYC for the weekend and want to check out New London Pharmacy since I hear they are more similar to French pharmacy with the quality of products they have and the brands (including Bioderma!). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for brands I should check out outside of the usual suspects (e.g. La Roche-Posay, Nuxe, Lumene, etc.).
Hello Everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this brand , specifically the Bioelements Stress Solution? Just wondering b/c I have never heard of it. I bought a serum type lotion from FAB (FAB Anti-Redness) a/b a month + or so (haven't tried it), & have since read some new reviews and so on that make me think it's not gonna work out. So, I'm looking for a replacement here (maybe the 3 Little Wonders Set or the PTR Set, idk which would be best) & this just caught my eye while checking my E-mails. Any thoughts or experience w/ Bioelements? Thanks in advance!
Yup! Apparently all models, except the Pro model, have a free engraving offer if you purchase through Clarisonic! Just saw it on their website. It made me wonder what people have asked to have engraved on their Clarisonics.......so.... What name would you have engraved on your Clarisonic? I think this could be a lot of fun. I'm undecided, but "U Can't Touch This" and "Please **kssweetheart** Don't Hurt Em!' are both contenders (both MC Hammer references) How about you guys and gals?
I absolutely love the brown color in this pallet for contouring(sultry) The only problem is that I used it up so quickly(just the one color).....does anyone know what product I can buy that would be just the brown color similar to the one in this pallet? I've searched quite a bit but just am not sure what to buy! I am using the Sultry pallet http://www.sephora.com/microsmooth-baked-sculpting -contour-trio-P378685?skuId=1483619&icid2=Contouri ...
Philosophy is having their F&F sale, I just got an email about it and it's 33% off!! The promo code is "ff33" and it expires on 6/6. I thought it was a nice way to start the month of June and generate some great hauls. I'll see you all in the new "Joyous June Hauls" thread. EDIT - Anyone else have any June Promos to share?
Okay so basically I need new.... well everything! I would love to save as much money as possible but I'd rather spend for something really worth it then get a crummy cheap product. I've found that products with a pH of 5- 6.5 work best for me. The lowest I'll go is 4.5 I would like to know the actual pH and not that it's "balanced" I'm not even sure what that means normally that would mean a oH of 7 and and I've heard your skin is between 4.5-6.5 it's just a tad acidic. Secondly I don't want anything that soaps foams has coco butter or mineral oil natural oils are okay though again depending on pH level also nothing with a lot of alcohol in it I would prefer no alcohol but if it's a very small amount (one of the last ingredients) then it's okay My skin is acne prone and quite sensitive i would want a very gentle cleanser that won't strip skin of oil but I don't want any products that treat acne just ones that won't cause it. Thank you if you can give me suggestions that meet all these needs I need - cleanser - toner - moisturizer - make up remover - primer (preferably that makes skin glow) - translucent powder(talc free) - Foundation or bb or cc that's sheer to medium looks like skin and gives you glowy radiant skin - concealer for blemishes (must be matte very important that it won't break me out more - liquid undereye concealer that brightens - undereye primer (umm tell me what they do) - matte bronzer (talc free, bronzer breaks me out and I think it's the talc maybe) - blush (talc free) - highlighter Very important that they won't break me out and that they are the right pH and everything else on my list above. Thank you thank you thank you! I know it's a lot.
Hey Girls, Just wanted to do a quick review on the new tanning lotion Vita Liberata's just come out with. Although I prefer the mousse to the lotion I found that the lotion was a little harder to apply than the mousse. I had to use a moisturizer to apply the lotion easily but after I showered the tan was even with no streaks. If you prefer a lotion compared to a mousse this would be a great choice. Look to Vita Liberata for all you tanning needs.

Hey guys, I subscribe to Ipsy and received a Pop Beauty lip gloss in my February box. The color was beautiful but it smelled off, like burnt plastic of some sort. Regardless, I tried it on my lips just to review the color and it tasted terrible. I thought that the product was supposed to be that way, so I put it aside and decided not to use it. Then I saw someone post on BeautyTalk that they manufacture the mini samples in Asia and the full size in the US. I figured the company was outsourcing but I didn't really care since I am not really of fan of Pop Beauty to begin with. Pop Beauty finally posted this on their Facebook: "Dear Ipsters, Unfortunately some of you received a POP Plump Pout Mini with an “off” taste or smell as part of the IPSY send-out in February. We want to address this issue and explain exactly what we have been doing about it. First and foremost we want to assure you that all of the ingredients used in the Plump Pout Mini, which are listed on the shrink wrap on the product packaging, are FDA approved and 100% safe for use. The reason for the disparity between the ingredients listed on the product packaging and the website is that the full size version of the Plump Pout Mini is manufactured in the USA, while the Mini is manufactured in Taiwan. We recently reformulated the product, and our factory in Taiwan used the new formula to make the Mini. We apologise if you have had a negative experience with this gloss. We have never encountered a problem of this nature with our products, and we assure you that we are taking this very seriously. If you feel that you have received a defective Plump Pout Mini, please do not hesitate to e-mail POP’s customer service at the e-mail address below. We guarantee that every e-mail will receive a response. Yours sincerely, POP beauty firstname.lastname@example.org" I've read several posts about people complaining to POP and Ipsy and were able to receive replacements, so I just wanted to spread the info!

Hello. I am looking for help finding a concealer shade. I currently use Urban Decay brand and I find it doesn't really cover my acne marks. I wear a 2.0 shade in UD or the Deauville in Nars (though I probably could go lighter). What would be a good match in the "Amazing Cosmetics" line? Anyone have experience with this line? Thanks!
