Halloween is coming up and I wanted to be a vampire with my friends. I flat out suck at makeup and usually just don't wear like any but I wanna look really good this year and know I would mess it up and my friends and I all wanna have really cool makeup for it but Idk if they would do something like this?? and how much would it cost?
I love Sephora Favorites that have well curated sets of products and often discover new products and must haves. I would love to see a waterproof set of Lashstash! I am always looking for new waterproof/water resistant/fiber mascaras for different effects and to find a more perfect one. My eyes are simply too oily for normal mascara. Thanks, Sephora
Does the urban decay "All Nighter" setting spray work even if i go in the pool? I am contemplating buying it because I'm starting the swim unit in gym class next week and I want to wear makeup but I don't have enough time to apply it after swimming
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Play by Sephora but....since they changed the boxing by dumping the items in a "sack" instead of nesting them in the black confetti paper with the Sephora color tissue covering the products to keep it a surprise until you dig in, it annoys the heck out of me. I keep wanting to discontinue my subscription but I truly love and enjoy the products AND I love Sephora. I just don't understand why change something that looks really cool and pretty. I don't feel Sephora gave the subscription enough time before they went made that change. The "newer" packaging just doesn't look and feel special. I'm so bummed. : ( Anyone else out there agree?
I love palettes but just face it there's no way to use them up in say 6 or even 12 months after opening. So, how important is it to follow expiration dates? Do I really need to throw away eye shadows, blushes, and lipsticks based on the date on the container?
Like if I go in the store to the checkout counter and ask them to order me something from the website that isn't in store do they appreciate it or are annoyed with it? Don't they get credit towards their store sales goal from it?
Hey y'all I'm baaaacccckkkkkk! I need some tips, and tricks of the trade for skeleton makeup this Halloween. I plan to do a female and male similar to Brianna Fox's tutorial. I don't want to spend TOO much on products though (~$50). Also, how do you "set" it, so it doesn't slide off as the night grows darker? Muhaha! Specifically, what products do you suggest?
If I bring some of my own make-up to Sephora, will they incorporate it in, with the new make-up/look I need? For example, I want to try some new techniques, but I think I have most of what I need. If I bring in some of my stuff, and buy what I need...will they help me practice my look once so I don't look stupid? I've never done contouring but I just watched a Sephora video that made it look really simple...but I'm scared.
I often visit Sephora but the excellent service keeps me coming back to the store to get my make up fix. Recently I was scouting for a birthday gift for my close friend and I really couldn’t decide what to get because she was just as big a makeup junkie as I was. I was walking around the store aimlessly and the salesperson actually approached me (Sephora Bugis+ outlet Singapore) and asked if I was looking for anything so I told her my situation and she gave me a couple of product options within my budget and provided useful insights and tips with regards to make up. She then escorted me to the payment queue. I just feel that the service Sephora provides is very personable and customised so as a customer I feel very valued and compelled to shop more.
Make Up For Ever Ultra - Y405 It's my the best foundation, it has nice medium coverage, I feel lightweight on the skin and fluid formula that can blend easily, it's appropriate with every day look or natural look. but i not sure it okay for very oily skin or not? If u have any idea please tell me.because my skin is oily skin so i don't have any idea for very oily skin
Small free samples are great ways to experience new brands and extend my views over the items that I didn't use to pay attention before... But I wonder why I never receive any samples in offline stores.. I once asked if there were any, and I was given weird looks for it... I guess I should stick with the online stores or buy from other stores giving free samples without treating me like a weirdo.... Am I the only one having such experience?
Here's a suggestion to the BT mods to cut down on the spam threads: suppress the ability to put links in the title of the post. I can't think of one thread on BT that someone has started that had a link in a title that wasn't spam. Most of the regulars on BT use the body of the post to add a link, and even then, most people try to follow Sephora community guidelines regarding links. Just a suggestion...
I see a lot of makeup tutorials and see people apply foundation with a flat brush and others with a blending sponge. Which method is better to apply the foundation a brush or a blending sponge. also when I blend the concealer I use a brush. Should I switch to a sponge?
Hi everyone! So during the past one or two years, my under eye circles have become so obnoxious. People assume I don't sleep when I get more than enough sleep. I've tried the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer + Treatment, the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer and the MAC Pro Longwear concealer. While I absolutely love them all, I want heavier coverage. I still feel like you can still see some purple under my eyes. I'm also using the NYX color corrector for under eyes. I started using a Tarte eye cream about a week ago so I have yet to see how it works. Any suggestions on products/treatments for this problem? I have fair skin if that's any help.
Hey guys! I just bought the new Formula X system (XCEL). I have used the old system for a long time and really like it. I just bought the new system and at first it seemed to be pretty much the same, the cleanser and primer worked well (even if the brush on the cleanser "splits" in the middle like many of the comments have pointed out) I did my main color and got to the top coat.... It was sooo THICK! It was really "sluggish" and hard to apply and made air bubbles. It was as if it was getting too old. I am wondering if I should replace it but I'm not sure if it's just that particular polish that's defective or if the new formula is thicker. HELP! has anyone tried both top coats and know if the new one is thicker?
Hey my beauties! I got this idea from the Reddit makeup community: It's the ⭐️⭐️12 pans of Christmas!⭐️⭐️ We have exactly three months from now to pan as many items as possible so we can start the new year fresh. Anything you want to live your 2016 life in (but say goodbye to for 2017)? Here's my list: 1. Stila grey shimmer eyeshadow - 80% done --Got this in the Grey Look quad from 2008. Mostly I'm jut sick of looking at it! I'm not including the fourth black shade here because even though I make an effort to use it, realistically I won't get enough use out of it to list here. It's just gonna be my go-to black until it's gone. 2. Stila pink shimmer eyeshadow - 40% done --Same as above. Use this for my browbone and inner corner highlights. 3. Stila matte buttercream eyeshadow - 30% done (JUST hit pan yesterday) --Same as above. Use this to set my eye primer. 4. Clinique blush - 50% done --My mom gave this to me and it is so tightly packed that I swear the amount of budging is invisible. I have used it every day for months and it still looks the same as it did this summer. The half done is between my mom before me and accidentally dropping it. All the Clinique face powders I've tried are never-ending like this. 5. Crest Whitestrips - 50% done --I bought these two springs ago. Time to use them up and get their benefits already before they sit around so long they become trash. 6. Victoria's Secret lipgloss - 5% done --A lovely customer bought this for me! It's one of two go-tos I keep in my purse. 7. NYX Strawberry Parfait butter gloss - 20% done --From a Target Beauty Box. I used to keep this at work, and now it's the other one in my purse. 8. Urban Decay Spandex glitter liner - 25% done --Adore this but it's starting to thicken up so I want to hurry and use it all up this season before I have to toss it anyway. Will likely buy another one though because I love it and have always loved it. 9. Wet n Wild red lip liner - 50% done --LOVE this! It's the perfect formula, color and wear for me. It's just that I've had it for so long that I'm worried it's going to go bad before it's finished. This will be another repurchase once it's done. 10. MAC fuschia lip liner - 10% done --Got this from my mom. Not really a fan: it's dry and has the look of a colored pencil once it's on. Will probably wear this under the lipglosses mentioned above. 11. L'Oreal Miss Manga blue mascara - 5 % done --Love this but just want to use it up before it expires. Bought it earlier this year and have used it twice so it needs some lovin'. 12. GAP Dream More perfume - 60% done --I have had this for YEARS. It initially smelled so good on me but now the scent has evaporated and it smells more like alcohol. Subsequently, it gets used as a room spray because somehow the alcohol smell is stronger when it's actually on me. Works great for the room, though! What are yours???
Hey all! I am travelling to Germany (Berlin) and Italy(Venice Verona Florence Rome and maybe Bologna) in a couple of weeks and was wondering what beauty items some of you might have snagged there that are not available in Canada! I know sometime ago (in the summer) someone had mentioned she will post her beauty hauls from Europe but I cannot seem to find anything. If anyone has ideas or can direct me to the right thread that would be great! Thanks a lot! Correction, I meant Italy and Germany. I understand Germany is part of Europe!
The last week my sephora pages and basket keep refreshing, making it impossible to shop. Beauty talk seems unaffected. Is anyone else experiencing this or is something wrong with my chrome browser or computer?
I am a deaf individual and I have been struggling to understand Sephora How-To videos. There are some things I need to learn regarding my make up. I wonder if its possible to have those videos captioned?
