Hey my beauties! I got this idea from the Reddit makeup community: It's the ⭐️⭐️12 pans of Christmas!⭐️⭐️ We have exactly three months from now to pan as many items as possible so we can start the new year fresh. Anything you want to live your 2016 life in (but say goodbye to for 2017)? Here's my list: 1. Stila grey shimmer eyeshadow - 80% done --Got this in the Grey Look quad from 2008. Mostly I'm jut sick of looking at it! I'm not including the fourth black shade here because even though I make an effort to use it, realistically I won't get enough use out of it to list here. It's just gonna be my go-to black until it's gone. 2. Stila pink shimmer eyeshadow - 40% done --Same as above. Use this for my browbone and inner corner highlights. 3. Stila matte buttercream eyeshadow - 30% done (JUST hit pan yesterday) --Same as above. Use this to set my eye primer. 4. Clinique blush - 50% done --My mom gave this to me and it is so tightly packed that I swear the amount of budging is invisible. I have used it every day for months and it still looks the same as it did this summer. The half done is between my mom before me and accidentally dropping it. All the Clinique face powders I've tried are never-ending like this. 5. Crest Whitestrips - 50% done --I bought these two springs ago. Time to use them up and get their benefits already before they sit around so long they become trash. 6. Victoria's Secret lipgloss - 5% done --A lovely customer bought this for me! It's one of two go-tos I keep in my purse. 7. NYX Strawberry Parfait butter gloss - 20% done --From a Target Beauty Box. I used to keep this at work, and now it's the other one in my purse. 8. Urban Decay Spandex glitter liner - 25% done --Adore this but it's starting to thicken up so I want to hurry and use it all up this season before I have to toss it anyway. Will likely buy another one though because I love it and have always loved it. 9. Wet n Wild red lip liner - 50% done --LOVE this! It's the perfect formula, color and wear for me. It's just that I've had it for so long that I'm worried it's going to go bad before it's finished. This will be another repurchase once it's done. 10. MAC fuschia lip liner - 10% done --Got this from my mom. Not really a fan: it's dry and has the look of a colored pencil once it's on. Will probably wear this under the lipglosses mentioned above. 11. L'Oreal Miss Manga blue mascara - 5 % done --Love this but just want to use it up before it expires. Bought it earlier this year and have used it twice so it needs some lovin'. 12. GAP Dream More perfume - 60% done --I have had this for YEARS. It initially smelled so good on me but now the scent has evaporated and it smells more like alcohol. Subsequently, it gets used as a room spray because somehow the alcohol smell is stronger when it's actually on me. Works great for the room, though! What are yours???
Hey all! I am travelling to Germany (Berlin) and Italy(Venice Verona Florence Rome and maybe Bologna) in a couple of weeks and was wondering what beauty items some of you might have snagged there that are not available in Canada! I know sometime ago (in the summer) someone had mentioned she will post her beauty hauls from Europe but I cannot seem to find anything. If anyone has ideas or can direct me to the right thread that would be great! Thanks a lot! Correction, I meant Italy and Germany. I understand Germany is part of Europe!
The last week my sephora pages and basket keep refreshing, making it impossible to shop. Beauty talk seems unaffected. Is anyone else experiencing this or is something wrong with my chrome browser or computer?
I am a deaf individual and I have been struggling to understand Sephora How-To videos. There are some things I need to learn regarding my make up. I wonder if its possible to have those videos captioned?
I got the Pat McGrath Flesh 2 online within 5 minutes of it going live and it arrived in the mail 2 days later. I tried it, was impressed, realized the colour was a near perfect dupe for a lipstick I already owned, and after wearing the product, discovered I didn't like how this matte lipstick wore on me throughout the day. I was ready to keep it because jeez, it's Pat McGrath, but realized it would be silly since I basically owned this same colour in a formula I liked better. When I went to post my review, I discovered several others had posted 1 and 2 star reviews of the product, also finding that the matte wear on it wasn't impressive compared to (surprise surprise) Kat Von D products. In fact, I noticed that Flesh 2 is a near perfect dupe for Kat Von D Cathedral, and mentioned this in my review. Kat Von D doesn't market her Cathedral shade as a Fleshy nude shade, and so I thought I my public PSA that Flesh 2 pulled really dark on NC20 skin could be helpful. Nowhere in Sephora's review guidelines do they say you can't make brand comparisons like this. Sephora only specifies that you can't link to non-Sephora websites. This implies that if I wanted to, I could even link to the Cathedral lippie bullet in my Pat McGrath review,. See here for Sephora policy on writing reviews: Write a Review When writing your reviews, be sure to keep it clean. (No obscenities, discriminatory language, spam content, or critical comments about other reviews or reviewers.) Please don't include personal contact information or non-Sephora URLs. We recommend that you focus on the product and include details about what you like or dislike about it. I know there are some really awesome Hall of Famers here much more familiar with Sephora and the history of discussing their policies and community policing. Is this kind of brand policing a known fact? If it isn't stated in Sephora's policies then why is this kind of censorship permitted? It really makes me worry about trusting the rating of products I buy on Sephora if Sephora is policing low rating reviews and removing them. I was never informed my review was censored. I noticed that my review and every other 1 star review that was already there when I posted my review was gone today when I checked back on the Oldest Posted reviews for this product. That means that by my count, just from what I witnessed on September 9th, the number of 1 and 2 star reviews should be double what they are right now.
I am usually a very calm and reserved person .....with of course a love for the finer things in life ....such as makeup lol However ....as I look for a good deal on the Sephora site in the 'sale' section ....every item that has some sort of appeal is always oos or ....not available ...please Sephora do not taunt us anymore .....I rather be Obliviant to things then live with the dread of....what if I just came 1 minute sooner ....could I have the chance to score this product .....and don't get me started with this reward bizarre .....Sephora claims to put new rewards between 9-5, two times a week .....I don't see the big deal ....when there is only 20-100 in stock .....like what the hell is that .....! Sorry for my rant .... please feel free to express your pain .....or rage here
So I know most of us are constantly ordering and picking up new makeup and tools all the time. We anxiously await our new products to arrive and when we get it, it's more like yay...meh...on the display or in the draw or wherever we stash our makeup. Then some random rainy day pops up and we reach for something newish and 💘💖😍 love at last. This happens to me so often that I often wonder why I buy new stuff when I'm always tossing it aside for a while. I thought of this thread because I see a lot of our hauls and new stuff we're jumping all over, but how long does it take for us to put those things into regular rotation?? Right now I recently rediscovered (this week as I was getting ready to drop the kiddies to school) my love for my Mac studio fix powder foundation in NC45. This was my first ever foundation...let me rephrase that...though I still have my original compact, during the spring I bought a new one and never used it. As I was getting ready I wanted to just throw something on my face so I don't look like death when I meet my kids new teachers but was pressed for time. I applied concealer and plucked this out the draw and it was 💖💖 all over again. I throw on a little lipstick and blush and setting spray and I looked alive!!! How did I live without it for all this time??!!! As for a newbie/impulse/hyped item, I discovered I really like my meteorites. I have 3 of the LE ones over the past couple of years and never really use them. I fall for the expensive hype and then they just sit there looking pretty. The one I really have been using the most are the rainbow pearls. It has taken me about a year to appreciate them lol.
I had bought an Anastasia Dip Brow pomade in the color Taupe and tried it out at home and it wasn't the right color. I bought this product at a Sephora in a JCP. Can i return the product to a normal Sephora Store?
Are there any threads for foils and Deluxe samples trade or a box. I have never been part of a box before (have traded) but I have a whole drawer full of foil samples along with deluxe size. My skin is super picky and I know I wont use all of them would like to actually get things I can use. Any help would be appreciated Thank you!
Recently I received 3 Makeup Forever Lipsticks in a VoxBox from Influenster to try and review. I came on and tried to write a review as they had asked me. I wrote my review, but it never game me the box to check that it was a gift from Makeup Forever. Now I can't figure out how to edit or get it to allow me to mark as received as a gift. Any suggestions?
Today I received IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye eye cream and illumination concealer gratis to test for Sephora!! I'm so thankful and I am excited to try these items and let y'all know what I think!! I already LOVE the Bye Bye Under Eye regular concealer and I use it every day. The illumination seems exciting to use and I can't wait to compare the two. I've never tried IT eye cream, so it will be fun to try as well. Thank you you so very much Sephora and It Cosmetics!!!

Just wondering if anyone else got the same problem? I really like this set dont wish to return it though..but am scared that the rest of the 3 boxes got the same problem!!?? Is a gift and i dont wanna open the seals..zzz
I recently purchased this product Sephora Jumbo crayon eyeliner... I cannot figure out how to twist crayon to get more of the eyeliner when it's running low. I love this product- it goes on, and stays on all day. debnpurple
i recently received a variety of Kat Von d lock it items for free to review from influenster and I am in love. The concealers are light an airy, yet cover well with no creasing. The setting powder sets it perfectly with a light finely milled setting powder. The brushes assigned for each are beyond great quality and I am truly impressed
I just got my Tria from Sephora online order yesterday, it came with a thick instruction booklet and a quick start guide. I hold down the power button to turn the Tria on, placed the bottom against my skin to unlock, then placed laser against shaved area to zap. Of course I completely ignored the tag asking me to activate since it worked, but then I decided to read the thick instruction booklet today. It says that before first use, you must charge it and you will not be able to use the Tria unless you activate it first via web/phone . Well, my "new" Tria was fully charged right out of the box and did not need activation to use (I hear beeps and feel the burn/sting/zap when placed against hair area)....... It looks new with everything in their place but there's no seal on the box....... Is this normal? Where you able to turn on your Tria and use before activation? Did it came with a full battery?
I used to buy the BECCA Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation from Sephora (in Shell) but it doesn't appear anywhere on the website now, though the majority of BECCA's other products do. Will it be coming back or is it discontinued from Sephora?
The pictogram is titled: Voila! 4 Step French Beauty Routine Then it says: 1. Detoxify - Instant Detox Mask 2. Cleanse - Micellar Cleansing 3. Treat - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum 4. Moisturize - Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet Is this a mistake or an actual routine? Has anyone tried this order ? Or am i misunderstanding it and it's just listing the products inside?
Hello~ I don't live near a department store with a MAC counter or standalone MAC store. I have been wearing MAC Pro Longwear in NC30 this entire summer! Yes, it is a tad orange, but I find that it blends to match my tan nearly perfectly. I was super worried at first when I bought it in the winter (NC30 in Full Coverage is apparently quite lighter and more yellow), but it's awesome for my summer skin. I usually mix it with argan oil or my L'Oreal pro-glow, since I do have dry skin. And now, the REAL question... I'm about to reorder, and I figured that I might want to order a lighter shade for the upcoming Fall, and also because I plan on making a DIY cushion foundation with it to carry around in the Fall during class. NC25 seems like the obvious choice, but I wanted to ask if it also was equally as orange, or if it was more yellow. I'm warm-neutral, and way too many foundations are too yellow or olive on me. I tried to use Temptalia, but the only foundation that I KNOW matches my winter skin 100% is matching to NC30 (it definitely IS NOT!), while the NC25 matches to a more yellow shade in that line. When I matched all, the matches appeared very yellow in comparison to the NC30 shades. Can anyone offer insight?
