Hello~ I don't live near a department store with a MAC counter or standalone MAC store. I have been wearing MAC Pro Longwear in NC30 this entire summer! Yes, it is a tad orange, but I find that it blends to match my tan nearly perfectly. I was super worried at first when I bought it in the winter (NC30 in Full Coverage is apparently quite lighter and more yellow), but it's awesome for my summer skin. I usually mix it with argan oil or my L'Oreal pro-glow, since I do have dry skin. And now, the REAL question... I'm about to reorder, and I figured that I might want to order a lighter shade for the upcoming Fall, and also because I plan on making a DIY cushion foundation with it to carry around in the Fall during class. NC25 seems like the obvious choice, but I wanted to ask if it also was equally as orange, or if it was more yellow. I'm warm-neutral, and way too many foundations are too yellow or olive on me. I tried to use Temptalia, but the only foundation that I KNOW matches my winter skin 100% is matching to NC30 (it definitely IS NOT!), while the NC25 matches to a more yellow shade in that line. When I matched all, the matches appeared very yellow in comparison to the NC30 shades. Can anyone offer insight?
I don't have much left in the bottle, and I am not seeing any noticeable benefit from using it. This was my first premium skincare purchase, and I am not sure this was worth the $90/oz. Anyone have good results?
Does the Nurse Jamie Acellerator have universal voltage for travelling? I believe that it is not cordless and has to be plugged in for use. Also how does it compare with Nuface Trinity - same technology? just as effective?
Could anyone help me locate a good, reasonably priced dupe for Clinique's Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator in the shade Bronze? My mom uses it, but it's been discontinued recently and she's trying to find a replacement for it. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!
Does anyone know a similar site? Reviews made by experts and with more brands? I feel that Paula's choice is not updated and there so many brands that are missing... Any ideas? I do love Paula's choice reviews, more o less they give you a professional overview of the product, and so much info about ingredients. Help! Have a great day everyone! XX
I have a $50.00 Gift Card (Canadian) and want to try to get a couple of things out of it. I am going to be asking a friend who is dropping in the City this weekend and I will be giving her an extra $20.00 so let's say $70.00 in total I have. The Sephora in the City which is like 2-3 hours away from me doesn't usually carry a lot of the stuff I want. Which is why I have to always create a list. I created a list of some stuff I want to get that I have been wanting to try in forever basically. But wondering if there is anything else worth spending money on... This is what I have so far: 1. ABH Brow Wiz 2. ABH Brow Gel 3. ABH Brush #20 (this is a maybe) 4. MUFE Aqua XL Eye Pencil in Matte Pastel Blue 5. NARS Radiant Concealer Any other suggestions?
I have a MUFE Aqua XL eyeliner and whenever I try to sharpen it, the tip breaks off in the sharpener. 1) It's a new sharpener, so the blade isn't dull. 2) I've tried putting it in the freezer before sharpening and that didn't help. Does any one have ideas on how to prevent it from breaking off? Thanks!
I absolutely love the online beauty reservation module for booking makeovers, however only TWO of my local stores are on there. Sephora Park Royal - ONLINE Sephora Pacific Center - ONLINE Sephora Metropolis - MISSING Sephora Coquitlam - MISSING Sephora Robson - MISSING Sephora Guildford - MISSING Sephora Abbotsford - MISSING When are these Sephoras going to get with the program? They are IMPOSSIBLE to book at through old-school means, you are lucky when they answer the phone, and they are always so scattered when you try and ask for dates. PLEASE GET THESE STORES ON THE RESERVATION PROGRAM ASAP!
Hi everyone! I am new to the BB cream world and am anxious to try them out! I first picked up the Clinique Acne Solutions BB cream, however, the shade was way to light! I went into Sephora and the lovely representative pointed me towards Cover Fx BB Gel mainly for its acne fighting properties. We then did a shade test and it ended up matching perfectly (I was so happy)! I am just wondering though, should I be applying a moisturizer underneath the Cover Fx BB Gel? I first assumed that I shouldn't be as BB creams/gels are supposed to be that 'all in one' product, which contains coverage, hydration, and beneficial skincare properties. But I am a bit confused with the Cover Fx; because it contains salicylic acid it seems as if it will be drying. The product claims to have hydration properties but I am just not sure! What do you think? Let me know! Thank you!
Hey! I don't know if this is the right spot to ask this, but here goes: I saw that you guys got the Rainforest of the Sea collection from Tarte (yay! I love their stuff) but I was wondering if you think you'll ever get the Tarte Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation? It looks absolutely amazing and I really want to try it. I would order it from them directly, but I'd like to get it through you guys so I can collect beauty points (and also so I can come in and make sure they have my colour)
Does sephora Canada not carry the lighter shades of MUFE face and body foundation (38 &36) or are they just out of stock. I noticed they're available on the US website but not Canadian, I need 38 but its never on sephora Canadian and I can not find anywhere else to purchase it.
I am very allergic to formaldehyde and must try my best to avoid things that have formaldehyde in it, Are there any products on this website that are formaldehyde-free? I appreciate all replies. Thank you. Big Mans Gram
Hi, I saw that YSL launched a new product (a stick version of their tint in oil) on their website and on Nordstrom, but I wandered when (or if) it would be available on Sephora.com. Thanks for your help!
Hi guys! Has anyone tried this shiseido set? I'm really curious about the effects. I'm looking to revamp my skincare routine and I currently use a bunch of drugstore stuff plus the ole henrikson truth serum and nurture me cream. I want something brightening and this really caught my eye. For those who have used it, what skin type does it seem to work for? I have combination skin with oily noise and forehead and drier cheeks and around the mouth area.
Hi, I am 21 years old. I don't have any wrinkles, but I am starting to get dark under eyes. I am debating between 2 eye creams and after reading some reviews, I still cannot decide. Has anyone tried any of these? http://www.sephora.com/total-truth-vitamin-c-eye-c reme-spf-15-P291520?skuId=1342666 http://www.sephora.com/all-about-eyes-rich-P174502 ?skuId=971473
I keep seeing photos of sheet lip masks on Instagram and I really want to try one. Anyone have any recommendations? I recently saw a picture of a Sephora brand sheet lip mask on Instagram but they aren't available at the Canadian stores. Anyone know where they are available? I love their sheet face masks so I'd love to try their lip ones.
I was going to use my beauty insider today since it the last day before it expire..and when i am checking out and enter the beauty insider, the card balance is 0 even though i never use it yet.. it a loyalty reward ($15 0off $50)
It might sound dumb but I am tired of going online daily and seeing URBAN DECAY, MAC, ELF, and even the word "SALE" in my emails. I want to check out some indie makeup brands that most people do not know of, but sadly when I look online all I see is Colourpop, Dose of Colors, or Limecrime. Between you me and the four walls I do not refer to them as indie brands anymore since they're so popular and almost every beauty lover knows of the two brands. Kinda looking for hidden gems! If you'd like list the specific product too! Wasn't sure were to post this btw! OKAY this is a repost only because someone had a great answer and unlike a discussion I couldn't reply !
