Hi everyone! I am new to the BB cream world and am anxious to try them out! I first picked up the Clinique Acne Solutions BB cream, however, the shade was way to light! I went into Sephora and the lovely representative pointed me towards Cover Fx BB Gel mainly for its acne fighting properties. We then did a shade test and it ended up matching perfectly (I was so happy)! I am just wondering though, should I be applying a moisturizer underneath the Cover Fx BB Gel? I first assumed that I shouldn't be as BB creams/gels are supposed to be that 'all in one' product, which contains coverage, hydration, and beneficial skincare properties. But I am a bit confused with the Cover Fx; because it contains salicylic acid it seems as if it will be drying. The product claims to have hydration properties but I am just not sure! What do you think? Let me know! Thank you!
Hey! I don't know if this is the right spot to ask this, but here goes: I saw that you guys got the Rainforest of the Sea collection from Tarte (yay! I love their stuff) but I was wondering if you think you'll ever get the Tarte Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation? It looks absolutely amazing and I really want to try it. I would order it from them directly, but I'd like to get it through you guys so I can collect beauty points (and also so I can come in and make sure they have my colour)
Does sephora Canada not carry the lighter shades of MUFE face and body foundation (38 &36) or are they just out of stock. I noticed they're available on the US website but not Canadian, I need 38 but its never on sephora Canadian and I can not find anywhere else to purchase it.
I am very allergic to formaldehyde and must try my best to avoid things that have formaldehyde in it, Are there any products on this website that are formaldehyde-free? I appreciate all replies. Thank you. Big Mans Gram
Hi, I saw that YSL launched a new product (a stick version of their tint in oil) on their website and on Nordstrom, but I wandered when (or if) it would be available on Sephora.com. Thanks for your help!
Hi guys! Has anyone tried this shiseido set? I'm really curious about the effects. I'm looking to revamp my skincare routine and I currently use a bunch of drugstore stuff plus the ole henrikson truth serum and nurture me cream. I want something brightening and this really caught my eye. For those who have used it, what skin type does it seem to work for? I have combination skin with oily noise and forehead and drier cheeks and around the mouth area.
A thread dedicated for those OMG ITS BACK IN STOCK! moments. Because everyone's keeping an eye out for sumpin' and who wants to keep an eye on a bajillion threads (even though there probably still will be).
Hi, I am 21 years old. I don't have any wrinkles, but I am starting to get dark under eyes. I am debating between 2 eye creams and after reading some reviews, I still cannot decide. Has anyone tried any of these? http://www.sephora.com/total-truth-vitamin-c-eye-c reme-spf-15-P291520?skuId=1342666 http://www.sephora.com/all-about-eyes-rich-P174502 ?skuId=971473
I keep seeing photos of sheet lip masks on Instagram and I really want to try one. Anyone have any recommendations? I recently saw a picture of a Sephora brand sheet lip mask on Instagram but they aren't available at the Canadian stores. Anyone know where they are available? I love their sheet face masks so I'd love to try their lip ones.
I was going to use my beauty insider today since it the last day before it expire..and when i am checking out and enter the beauty insider, the card balance is 0 even though i never use it yet.. it a loyalty reward ($15 0off $50)
It might sound dumb but I am tired of going online daily and seeing URBAN DECAY, MAC, ELF, and even the word "SALE" in my emails. I want to check out some indie makeup brands that most people do not know of, but sadly when I look online all I see is Colourpop, Dose of Colors, or Limecrime. Between you me and the four walls I do not refer to them as indie brands anymore since they're so popular and almost every beauty lover knows of the two brands. Kinda looking for hidden gems! If you'd like list the specific product too! Wasn't sure were to post this btw! OKAY this is a repost only because someone had a great answer and unlike a discussion I couldn't reply !
Just a heads up: I noticed many of y'all wanted the Sunday Riley Duo during the sale but it was OOS. As of right now (11-19-15, 4:51 a.m. EST), it's available. There are only a few left though, so if you want one go now and grab it before it's gone again!
Hi! I use 1N3 Creamy Vanilla from Estee Lauder double wear maximum cover. I want to try something else because of the spf 15 that is in it and in some lights it makes your skin looks overlighted and like a ghost. I would LOVE to try the Kat von D lock it Foundation. The problem is that I live in Holland, and they don't sell it here, so I will have to order it without testing Does anyone know wich shade wil look the most like the estee lauder 1N3? Hope someone can help me. (I have a yellow undertone and a light skintone, but afraid that light is going to be to light)
Hi I had make an order on sephora website on the 11/11/2015 an my account was debited with the amount of money required but the order indicate UNSUCCESSFUL AUTHORIZATION what would that suppose to mean since the money was taken and no refund was done
I went to my local Sephora store yesterday (Boca Raton, FL) and was disgusted to find out that Sephora has a somewhat new return policy for returns without a receipt. (It's new to me since I usually keep my receipts, unless the item was a gift) I was told by the rude store associate that because I made a return without a receipt within the past 365 days that I would be unable to return the items. I received a number of gifts for my birthday, which was two months ago, that I never used and decided that I would be better off with a store credit to purchase something that I would use. However, I did not have the packing slips or receipts for the items. I usually keep my receipts and packing slips and this and the other return without a receipt were isolated instances. One of the items happened to be a perfume body lotion that is only sold online, but I did not want since I did not get the matching perfume. The store associate initially argued with me that it was not from Sephora until I informed her that it was an online only item. I do not appreciate being treated like a criminal for wanting to make a return! This is not the proper way to handle a VIB customer. I understand that customers were abusing the return policy and that Sephora had to do something about it, but these items were unopened and in the original packaging. The body lotion even had the plastic around it! There should be a different policy for unused and unopened items. I do not have a long history of returning items and have spent a significant amount of money at Sephora over the years. However, I now plan to curtail my spending at Sephora due to this new return policy. One allowance every 365 days is a bit extreme! I recently made a purchase online that was a birthday gift for a friend and I did not give her a gift receipt because the packing slip had multiple items on it and I did not have a gift receipt for the item. That was for a Sephora brand item that obviously could not be mistaken as being bought elsewhere. However, I now regret making that purchase for fear that my friend will not be able to exchange it if she wants something else instead. I was just about to make a purchase of a birthday gift for another friend and opted to purchase it somewhere else due to this situation. Additionally, I was planning to buy many holiday gifts at Sephora and due to this instance, have changed my mind. You are punishing good, honest customers for the mistakes of others and I hope that other customers, like myself, think prior to spending exorbitant amounts of money at Sephora this holiday season until you start treating us better than the criminals you are trying to protect yourselves from! This is not the first complaint I have had about Sephora in the past 365 days, as I was very disappointed by the way the Epic (Fail) Rewards situation was handled. Just as Sephora is not giving me the benefit of the doubt with more than one return without a receipt within 365 days, perhaps since this is the second strike for Sephora within that timeframe, I should not be any more lenient and should take my business elsewhere.
Can anyone help me compare Boscia Cool Blue Hydration Essence and Belif Hungarian Water Essence? Has anyone used both? What was the difference in hydration and clarity to your skin? I use a low dose RX retinoid for my adult acne. It is working well, and I am not suffering from dryness perse, but when I wear foundation, it looks dry and a little ashy after a few hours. I was wondering which one of these essences would be better for hydration, to fix the textural issue with foundation, and also, if possible, help with the overall clarity of my skin ie not cause clogged pores. Thank you! http://www.sephora.com/cool-blue-hydration-essence -P387076?skuId=1613850 http://www.sephora.com/hungarian-water-essence-P39 4633?skuId=1686351

Hello everyone Around this time last year, I started getting into beauty, makeup, and skincare. Before then, I was using a tanning bed multiple times a week, if not everyday. I stopped last December after really considering how it was affecting my skin in the long run. I'm really missing having a beautiful tan, and though a nice 15 minute nap in a tanning bed sounds amazing, I know there's way better/healthier ways to get that glowy tan. How do you ladies self-tan? Do you get spray tans? Or do you strictly use at home products?
I was wondering if you could help me determine which products/brands satisfy the following conditions and would be best for the following purposes. Conditions (3) : Acne Fighting OR Not Cause Acne (I get acne very easily & have very sensitive skin) Dewy /Glow. NOT Matte. Long lasting (I do not want to have to reapply repeatedly over the day) Purposes (8) : Foundation = I tried Bareminerals and do not like it because it was messy, made my skin look dry, and was matte. I liked Tarte Amazonian Clay because it had lovely coverage and a golden glow, but I believe it caused my skin to break out. Cover FX did not cause acne, but it lacked the golden glow. Any ideas? Cover Up = I was thinking Maybelline Instant Age Rewind because of ImJenn's videos, but if you have a better idea please share Contouring = For this, I am referring to the darker shade I would use for shadow. I need a product that I can apply gradually. I don't ever get it right on the first time and I would like to be able to monitor how it looks slowly as I apply. Highlighter = for this I am referring to the lighter shade I would apply to the bridge of my nose, below my eyes, etc. I am not referring to the shine that Benefit’s Watts Up! does. Like the darker contouring in #3, this one also needs to be able to be applied gradually. Mascara = Optimally, I would like one that helps eyelashes grow. However, ultimately, I need one that does not damage my eyelashes since I do not have much. Lips = I need something that makes my lips look glossy, but lasts long, or at least longer than typical lip gloss. I have liked Sugar’s Lip Treatment in Rosé, but I was wondering if there were other options. Finishing / Setting Powder = I would like one that makes my overall face more refined/defined and dewy. I liked the Hourglass Ambien Lighting Powder in Luminous Light, but I was wondering if there were other options. Fake eyelashes ? = What are your guys’ thoughts? Waste of time/money? Do they damage your eyelashes? I know that a lot of the characteristics I seek in each product may be unattainable. I am looking for which product would be the closest to those characteristics. As you can probably tell, I am very new to makeup, but am starting to learn as much as I can about it so I can enjoy it during my break from school to recover from depression. I sincerely hope I didn’t say anything irritating, but if I did, please let me know so I can clarify or rectify
