@DaneeBT@mztm  I finally opened my Sunset palette and I am having the same issue with my palette. The two eyeshadows look like they have oil around them.

Mine is doing the same! Two of the eyeshadows.  Do I have a defective palette? @DaneeBT @mztm

I looked at my palette last night and I noticed the same thing.  It looks like some of the oil from the palette has been absorbed by the styrofoam insert around it.  It's only on that one particular orange metallic shade.  I am guessing that this is not a "defect" per se, but just the way the product is.  If the shadow had been placed in a plastic pan instead of a styrfoam insert, we would never see this.  

If the palette gets recalled, please keep me posted.

@friedrice I can see the 2 pans clearly on my iPad! I would return this palette, it’s definitely defective! I wouldn’t risk putting those eyeshadows on my eyelids !

@mztm, I read your post and it made me think about a post by @sonnydee. She described her palette having oil ? around two pans in her new Sunset palette.

@mztm I don't see anything.  Maybe it looks like some of the product was not perfectly pressed during the manufacturing process, but I don't see signs of moisture.  Signs of moisture would be very hard to see in a powder since the powder would absorb the moisture evenly (assuming this is humidity-moisture and not a direct drop of water).  Do you have a progression picture?  

I just bought the palette on 8/31 and I have used it a couple of times without any change in the consistency of the product.

the moisture is showing outside the pans it is very hard to capture in photo since its black surrounding but you can see cleary with bare  eye @itscarin

FYI, I have the old Sunset palette and this has not happened. (And I know what to look for because it happened with my ABH Nicole Guerriero highlighting palette. Made a darn mess of it since that palette was just made of paper product.)

@veronika23 Well poo. It wasn’t the Safari palette. It was nail oil and a nail mask I had ordered lol 😆 At least both products were excellent, so that was nice. The palette arrives Wednesday, apparently.
