Do anyone get annoyed when all the samples that are available for choosing are perfume samples? I am not a big perfume person and I only ever use one perfume and only for special occasion. I much prefer samples of skincare or makeup that I actually can use...
Hi! I did my first purchase yesterday at Sephora and they gave me a BI card, however when I signed up in your website, the card is not associated. I'm guessing they put the wrong email address because I didn't even received the e-mail receipt that day. Thanks.
I was curious to see how many points you all currently have and which Epic Rewards you are all eyeing! So let's all answer the following: How many points do you all have? Which EPIC REWARDS are your eying to get? Ugh I hope they don't sell out within minutes! I've been hoarding my points for years now so I hope I can finally use them.
Not sure if there's already a thread on this, but - I sadly did not plan for the 'epic rewards' over the last year, and now I'm kicking myself for not hoarding my points. Even if there's almost zero chance of actually snagging the ones I want :-) Anyway, I went back through my email to see when the points events have been over the last couple years so I can do better next time. Did I miss any? 2013: August 12-18 (4x/3x/2x) 2014: January 9-20 (2x, skincare) February 5-14 (3x, fragrance) April 24 - May 11 (3x, fragrance) August 3-10 (4x/3x/2x) 2015: January 8-10 (2x, skincare) February 5-14 (3x, fragrance) April 24-May 10 (3x, fragrance) August 2-9 (4x/3x/2x)
I thought it would be pertinent to start a new thread since the previous thread titles all refer to the previous round's name. www.sephora.com/epicrewards I've started to total the value of some of these perks, and thought I would share with you ladies. I will continue to update the main post as I calculate them. If anyone has done any of their own calculations, which are different than mine, let me know and I'll updated. I did these VERY quickly. I SINCERELY appreciate Sephora's effort towards transparency this time around. I like to be a well informed buyer, and just because I'm paying with points and not dollars, doesn't mean I shop any differently. So to have the ability to research and really sit down and see what I really want, and whether it would be a welcome addition to my collection, is again, definitely appreciated. Now, I just hope there's enough for all of us so we can happily share our redemption stories US rewards here: Reward Description Value 1,000 Givenchy-Le Rouge $144 + bag 1,000 Becca $186 1,000 Dr Dennis Gross $156 1,000 Smashbox $157 1,000 Fresh $150 + booklet 1,000 Bumble and Bumble $157 + extras 1,000 Anastasia Beverly Hills $170.50 + signature 1,000 Dior $208 2,000 NARS $59 + $40 + signature 2,000 Yves Saint Laurent $610 2,000 Sephora $425 2,000 Skin, Inc. $310 2,000 KVD $428 + box + signature 2,000 Bobbi Brown $257 + bag 2,000 Benefit $186 + bags 2,000 Stila $264 + bag + booklet 5,000 Georgio Armani $816 + bag 5,000 Elizabeth and James $1,010 5,000 Formula X $800 5,000 Too Faced $294 + Bag + Necklace 5,000 Drybar $575 5,000 Tarte $725 5,000 Tory Burch $898 10,000 Marc Jacobs Bag: ~$3,000 + $692 makeup 10,000 MUFE - NYC Trip $596 makeup + trip + class 10,000 Glamglow - LA Trip $531 + trip + tour 10,000 Chloe $563 in beauty + ~$1500 accessories 10,000 Viktor & Rolf Previous sold at Neiman Marcus for $2,500 USD 10,000 Lancome - Paris Trip $200 giftcards + ~$200 products + trip (minimally, flights from the US to Paris usually start around $1,000 each. 10,000 Bvlgari $465 beauty + ~$2,000 bag Thanks to Lunality, you can find the Canadian Point Perks and Values (in CAD) here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Beauty-Insider/Epi c-Rewards-Values-amp-Discussion-Available-August-1 ...
Well once again Canadian clients get screwed. We should be used to it by now... but no. It seems this is an ongoing thing and no matter what we get the shaft. I know all the Canadian clients have great ideas and we always voice our opinions but for some reason it never reaches anyone... Hope this thread will help with that. I have my doubts since I've been pretty vocal for the past 3 years or so... but hey... never hurts to keep trying! Honestly... Sephora give me a job I will work for FREE so Canadians can get the same treatment as the US clients!!! MY hope is that everyone here can share their ideas on how Sephora can improve. This is just a start.... The extraordinary rewards... US gets trips to Paris and NYC and we get nothing... Ok so maybe we can't get trips outside our country but Sephora could have offered a trip to the Montreal store where apparently there's a MUFE boutique and get a MUFE artist to provide training and get the same amount to spend on MUFE as the US does. It isn't NY but hell it's a start! ETA: If Sephora wants to save themselves trouble they should just convert their points systems to a points = cash system! End of story.
is there a specific code needed for the online 4X the points VIB Rouge after hours event? or will the points just automatically be 4x? I was just going to place an order for $125 (before tax) and the points being given were only 125?
I've had my card for years and then just made an online account. I assumed I could link the accounts and it would go towards VIB. If I had known that would not happen I would have never made an online purchase and gone into the store using my card.
So I just got a mysterious PM from a new BT member where she advised me to contact with her immediately because she has some very important information for me. Said member has no post, comment or heart. Where I am not the one to response to this type of scams, I wonder if anyone else got a similar message. If I'm her special choice or she has something special for anyone else as well.
I made a beauty insider account in store a long time ago. I forgot the email i used, but i still have the card. I went and made another account online today, thinking i can link my old card to the new account. Is there a way to do that?
Since seeing the updates B2S provided on the point multiplier, Beauty Before Brunch event, I can't stop thinking of what I'll be getting! I am really not too much into point multipliers and more into discounts, so I've really surprised myself here. I think it doesn't hurt that there's a couple things I wanted anyways so this is an opportune time just to get them. My list is super short and of course subject to change. So far I'm thinking: -Bobbi Brown corrector duo OR new Bare minerals one -one of those Juliette Has a Gun Perfumes (I am hoping the store I go to will have testers since my closest store doesn't so I can decide, in person, which one I want) What's on your list? Also, what are you looking most forward to? I'm also thinking this will be a good chance for me to meet some girlfriends afterwards for brunch (and maybe take one with me to the event).
This is going to be a frustrated post. So, I was returning something for my BI-account-and-receipt-less mom while at the mall the other day, and had my return rejected. I've never gotten any warnings, and I'm pretty sure this is only my second return without receipt this entire year. My guess is that the two returns were so close in time to each other (within two weeks of each other), that the third-party company flagged my ID. What makes me SO FREAKING MAD, however, is that the first return was THE SA'S FAULT. I ordered a Two Faced primer online and decided last minute I didn't want it, so I brought it in WITH MY PACKING SLIP to my local Sephora inside JcPenney to return it, but the SA snippily told me that they had to do it as a return without receipt. I didn't think twice about it until a thread popped up on my BT feed and saw that people have been banned from excessive returns without receipts, and that SiJCP SA's are supposed to call in to make a return with a packing slip, in order to verify prices so that it doesn't go on your return record. Which my SA didn't. And screwed me over. TLDR; My SA was too lazy, and now I'm banned from making returns without a receipt. Has anyone ever appealed/disputed a return ban? Most everything I buy is logged on my BI account so I don't normally wouldn't need to make returns without receipts, but it makes me antsy to not have that backup, especially if it wasn't even my fault.
soooo.. today I got the inside scoop from an SA who said they just got notice that starting August (first online then in store) Bite 250 Point Perk promos will start appearing!! As speculated - in another thread, there will be BITE mini lipstick and lipgloss duos for 250 BI points. There will be a new duo released each month until December (which makes sense because there are 5 frozen berries). She said she was 100% sure that they would be the minis of the Frozen Berries. However there will not be an Opal lipstick mini. I am excited, I wonder what these lipglosses will be like....
Just in case anyone is looking for them! Saw them on sale at the Nordstrom site for $62.00! Is anyone getting this palette? Or have already purchased it? The Pink Champagne shade really intrigues me, but that's about it. It's in my basket but I keep hesitating to click "check out". I really don't need anymore eyeshadow palettes but idk. I want it but at the same time I'm kind of meh. AGH. At this point, I'll never be on a no-buy
