So I have seen a few questions about these 2 sales, which one is better and here what I think: It depends. If you only need to spend $50 then wait till December cause you get $20 off $50 so you would spend only $30. For 20% off $50 only save you $10, so you would spend $40. If you spend $100 then: 20% off would take down to $80. And $20 off would also take down to $80. So if you spend $100, either way would be the same. But if you spend lets say $150 then 20% off, you would only pay $120. And $20 off you would need to spend $150-$20=$130 total. So, it really depends, If you spend $50, then use the $20 off $50. If you spend $100, doesnt matter. If you spend more than $100, then use the 20% off. Hope it helped my lovely BBFFs. Have fun shopping! ***** For REGULAR BIs, last year they got $15 OFF $50 ****
Okay, so I'm a mini perfume addict and the 25 days of giving minis totally got my attention. Since monday, I've been placing a minimum of $25 orders just to be able to redeem a mini. I don't wanna be spending $25 everyday just to get minis coz my wallet is still recovering from all the November shopping I made. Question is: Can I just place just ONE $1 order EVERY DAY til the 25th day just so I can redeem a mini perfume everyday? Will I get banned if I do this? Mods?
I know with all of the banning news we've been hearing now, I've been a lot more nervous placing orders, even though everything I order is for myself or for gifts and I AM NOT A RESELLER. *cough hint Sephora cough* Anyone else feel similarly? Lately there's no better feeling than receiving an email that says "your order has shipped." I don't want to live in fear anymore! And I know there's no clear answer, but do we all maybe want to get together and come up with a list of things that might get you banned? Just to be on the safe side?
Why did you ask if I had a big family? Oh, uhhhh.. these 8 Philosophy Purity cleansers? Oh yeah... that's right, I have a really big family! This is all for them!!!!! :::nervous laughter::: It would be totally crazy if this was all for me. Ah ah ha ha... :::Hangs head in shame::: ---------------------- The above encounter has happened to me more than once. The most embarrassing was when buying family size potato salad--I live alone and I still like a good value. Is that so wrong?!?!?
I would have gotten mine today had UPS not left 2 of my boxes behind at the shipping facility :face palm: Hopefully tomorrow they won't leave without it. I managed to get one of my Sephora packages from black Friday though. OT: the UPS guy was using a budget truck to make deliveries...interesting, he said the other truck was too full so he had to use it....
Someone has redeemed points and made a purchase that is definitely not mine- has this happened to anyone else before? What can be done about it? I've been saving up my points so it's highly irritating if someone else can just use them like that!
Receive an order today that contained above promo. Received deluxe samples of Lancôme and Buxom mascara samples, Sheseido bio-performance deluxe sample, 1 oz. Living Proof frizz nourishing sytling cream, and a foil of philosophy time in a bottle. Hope that helps people.
I live in Australia and fell in love with sephora during a trip to the usa last year. Cosmetics in aus are literally 2 -3 times the price of the usa so I have been making some large orders from sephora every now and then and shipping them to me via a parcel forwarding site. The products I purchase are for my personal use only and I never take advantage of promotions. Furthermore very rarely do I make returns. It appears sephora you will no longer ship to parcel forwarding sites. This has left a number of your clients extremely unhappy and disappointed. What is the issue with me purchasing your products for my own personal use here in australia? I am one of your clients- however no efforts have been made to correct this issue?? Surely a check can be performed on an individual's previous purchases to find out if they are a legitimate client or if they are buying to resell or for the promos/samples etc. I look forward to a mods response on the topic. Thanks!
**UPDATED 12/5** Hey guys and gals - I know with all the problems that's going on right now (cancelled orders, no good deals for BF weekend, etc) that Sephora has had many people feeling pretty down but I just saw this on the main page :: 25 Days of Merry Crazy Giveaway. Each day in December, they will be featuring a different deluxe sample and 100 point perk. Here are the perks so far Day 1 100 point perk :: Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri - Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri Link :: http://www.sephora.com/bi-100-pt-P124402?skuId=159 0306 Deluxe sample :: Fresh Soy Face Exfoliant Day 2 100 point perk :: Balenciaga Florabotanica Link :: Deluxe sample :: Buxom Full Bodied lipstick in Hooligan Day 3 100 point perk :: Gucci Flora by Gucci Link :: http://www.sephora.com/product/productDetail.jsp?s kuId=1571876&productId=P124402 Deluxe sample :: Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Eye Treatment Day 4 100 point perk :: Chloe - Chloe eau de Parfum Link :: Deluxe Sample :: Chloe - Chloe Body Lotion Day 5 100 point perk :: Prada Candy L'eau eau de Toilette Link :: http://www.sephora.com/bi-100-pt-P124402?skuId=156 8948 Deluxe sample :: Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation Illuminator
The daily promo and perk is a great thing IMO to build some goodwill on Sephora's part. Have any of you looked at the new points perks that are not tied to the Advent calendar? There are some terrific 100 pts perks there as well! Take a peek and see for yourself!
How come I am still able to order a "permanently out of stock" item? I placed the order and paid and I was brought to the thank you page. Then I saw that my item is "permanently out of stock"? I was still charged though...how is this going to work? Will I be able to receive the item when it is restocked? If it is restocked how long would that take?
I am taking it on faith that Sephora will get the gift cards into your hands soon. I wanted to start a happy, what did you get thread. This way we can post our new beauty prizes here. I will start. I got the HOURGLASS Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free in Shell. Thanks Sephora, and I want to give a shout out to the Mod Kevin. Kevin if you are listening, you are doing a good job. Everyone here loves Sephora, and just doesn't want to be forgotten, that is the reason for all the anxiety about the gift cards.
I tried to contact the customer services regarding my email address and mailing address since I have never received any promotion notice and event mail so far. Never! What's wrong with your member system?? I updated every information with my account but still not receive any news. There is no mail for $20 off $50 gift card sent to me this time! can anyone help???
edit: whatever is left over will go to Shade Tree in Las Vegas, Nv. They take in victims of domestic violence including children. If there is something you would like to donate specifically to them, I will have a separate bag you can put things in that will be of limits to swapping. Here it is! I will be adding more before I mail it to the first person. I don't know how to go about making the list so if someone can help, I would appreciate it. Most of the samples in the box are deluxe so please swap with a like item. Add what you want just nothing gross or used too much. I recently made some purchases in the Sephora store but they aren't showing up online as well as my points. Is there a wait time for purchased items and points to appear or is there a problem with my account?
Seriously!?! I am still in shock at this amazing value! I found these gift card holders at my local SiJCP today, there are two different kinds. One is from Fresh and includes a mini original/clear lip treatment and the other is from Josie Maran and includes the 0.5 fl. oz. size argan oil……wait for it……..both of these are $5 each!!!!! I mean, golly, the argan oil bought on it's own is $14! Be sure to go by your local Sephora & snap these up, I know I did!!
We did a little shopping and went to dinner tonight. One place gave me a bag full of deluxe samples and minis. Our server was in college. For her tip, I took a mini in box and folded the bills to fit in the box and stick out. Though the tip was 30% she did not seem to care, she went nuts over the little bottle of fragrance. In the future when I am going to dine out, I will take a deluxe sample for a lady or a gentleman to put their tip in!
