Refund on a rewards points.

Hello Sephora, After spending more than 15k in your store I finally redeemed my points for one of the rewards for 4k. Unfortunately I'm unable to go to the event due to work emergencies. I called the Rouge concierge line to request a refund and they instructed me to email the RSVP@sephora to ask for a refund. I received a response and Im very disappointed... I spent for 4k to get this reward and Im hoping that you will considered refunding me my points back. I have been loyal to sephora for a very longtime and im sure 4k points is nothing to you. This email makes me very upset as no regards to legendary customer experience and didn't offer any kind of resolution... whats the point of staying rouge year to year?! Please reconsider and refund my points back...
