New 500pt Perk

Did anyone see the new Philosophy 500pt perk?

I went to my local Sephora store tonight, and they had a new 500 pt perk, so I thought I'd give you all a heads up.  If it's something you want, you might be able to find it in-store.  There seemed to be 2 different sets as options, for different hair types.  It's hard to tell exactly whats in each set, but I took a pic on my phone that I'll try to post here. 

They had some interesting 100 point perks as well... a mini Make Up For Ever HD cream blush, Bright Crystal perfume (a cute mini bottle), and some Dior cream looking thing.  I passed on the Phyto set, since I think I'd rather have the Benefit set that they're offering online, but I did get the MUFE HD blush, since I've been meaning to try it for a while now.

I actually picked up the phyto set for dry hair last week. 

I became hooked to their botanical relaxing balm when I recieved a sample of it in the VIB swag bag back in the summer.

So I was really excited when I saw it as the 500 point perk.

The latest 500 pt perk is a Philosophy Skincare set.  I personally won't be grabbing it because I hate the scent of "Hope in a Jar" something fierce.  It's a good trial set though and for those of you who haven't seen it:

@Kalex: I was going to get this one because I have been wanting to try Hope in a Jar and When Hope is not Enough serum. What kind of scent does the hope in a jar have? I may be going down to CT this weekend and if I do, I'm definitely hitting a Sephora or two. But in case I don't, I'd love your input!!

It's been awhile since I used it so I don't recall exactly what it smelled like.  I have heard it described as "wet dog".  That's probably not too far off!

No offense but am I the only one that gets tired of seeing Philosphy perks? I cannot use any of their products, as they irritate my sensitive, dry skin. It would be nice to see perks from some of the other companies that rarely offer perks, like Dior (sweet! haha!), theBalm (have only tried their lipglosses but heard good things about their eyeshadows),  YSL, etc.. I LOVED the Fusion Beauty perk they offered recently so that was a nice change. I just picked up the Phyto perk for color treated hair too but have yet to use it...that too was a nice change. Still have 1500 more points to burn through so offer me something enticing Sephora! haha!

Yeah, I'm sick of seeing Philosophy all the time myself.  I like a few of their products but I wish it wasn't constantly shoved in our faces.  Some variety please!

I hate Philosophy too...and spend my points on 100 pt gifts most of the time because I'm not interested in what they have for 500 pt perks....(although I havent picked up anything in like a year...) I would LOVE to see a Benefit set as a 500 pt perk, and they should be full sized items, since we have to spend $500 to get it in the 1st place!

The sales people at Sephora are ALWAYS trying to pressure me into getting the 500 pt perk....whenever I say I dont want it, they ring it up and put it my bag anyway! Then I have to go through the whole "are you sure? its a heck of a deal?" thing to the "no thank you I'm sure" to the put back process which takes up more of my time...once they rung up the 500 pts for a set I didnt want, put the set back, but didnt give me my points back!

I'm also a hold out! I do love bubble bath but.. PLEASE SEPHORA COME OUT WITH SOMETHING AMAZING!!!!

At my Sephora store, they currently have a Fusion Beauty set.  I had over 1,000 points and decided to splurge since I had so many.  Full of fun glosses and some face stuff.  Great decision!

So, the Philosphy set is in-store only? Are the in-store and on-line perks always different?

The perks can vary from store to store, or region to region. Sometimes the online perks are the same as some stores, sometimes not. The philosophy perk I happened to get at the store was the online perk a few days later. I guess it depends on how popular they are and when the different venues run out.

Wow that Philosophy set went fast!  It's probably still available in some stores though.  I'm personally not going for the new skincare set.  Can't wait to see what the next one will be!

Yeah, that skincare set is a frequent flyer. It was the perk right before the phiosophy set, too...... I'm holding out, myself.......

The new 500 point perk online is a full size Benefit Coralista and mini BADgal mascara. I just placed an order a few minutes ago, and snagged this. I'm soooo glad I passed on all of the previous perks (since last spring) because Coralista is something I've actually been curious to try for a long time. I almost cashed in on the Philosophy set when I placed an order last week, but decided to pass because I still have six half-full mini bottles of Philosophy shower cream sitting on my tub ledge from last year's Cookbook set. I'm so glad I held off... Can't wait to try the Coralista!

Eventhough I am starting to have a serious mascara collection, I am thinking of getting this with my next order because I've wanted to try the badgal lash. I guess it ultimately depends on if it's still available the next time I order!
