I love seeing other peoples empties! So I decided to make a board where people could post pictures of their empties, or just tell us about them! I'd also be interested in knowing whether you're repurchasing anything or not.

Re: Empties

Here are my empties from my trip.  Not too bad!

Dr Brandt pores no more will be purchased at my earliest convenience and will be replacing my benefit once I've used up al, my samples of it.

I have already purchased the shiseido eye cream.  It's so thick and creamy but not too thick.

My hubby loves the dry bar shampoo and conditioner.

I love the Peter Thomas Roth sunscreen as well.

I purchased the jill Stuart shampoo and conditioner:smileyhappy:

it was a pretty good round of sample trying.

Yay!  Glad you found a sunscreen you love.  My husband has been playing with that thing for a long time.  I tried it a couple of times and thought it was nice enough.

Re: Empties

Oooh! I love using up samples on trips too! I've been quite impressed with Dr. Brandt products, but currently trying out the hyper pigmentation gel, and I'm not sure yet whether it will prove to be as effective as the Verso treatment ... How did you find the Living Proof product? I am in love with their Style Extender, since it allow me to only wash my hair twice a week :smileyhappy:

Re: Empties

Be careful about anything with hydroquinone in it cause it's a known carcinogen.  Murad had a skin lightener with it and was refunding people their money because of the newfound discovery.

Re: Empties

To be honest I'm less than thrilled with a lot of the living proof stuff.  I like their shine serum.  The style extender doesn't seem to work for me.  It just seems t weigh my hair down.  :smileysad:

Re: Empties

I am all about samples, but mostly the 100 point perks when I am traveling. So convenient.

Me too!  They take up so little space!

Re: Empties

How did you like Caudalie's Premier Cru?

Re: Empties

I actually really enjoyed it.  it didn't impress me any more than first aide beauty however.    Maybe I need to use it for longer to notice any real results though.

Re: Empties

i love the dr brandt pores no more!!! that stuff is awesome!!!

Yes it is!  It left quite an impression on me!  I live that it's tinted so if I feel super lazy I can wear just it!  I had a "what am I using this other bleep for?"  epiphany!!

Re: Empties

I had a sample of the Shiseido eye cream and I think it's fantastic. Couldn't tell if it helped me at all (who can from a sample?), but I love love love the way Shiseido products smell. I'm using their undereye masks right now and I just can't get enough! :smileyhappy:

Re: Empties

I made a few orders back to back and ended up with four samples which was just enough to last me three weeks and enough for me to know I needed to buy it.  The smell is wonderful and light!

Re: Empties

October was epic in terms of using up products!!! I used up 3 different body washes… lol. Not in a month, but these have been in rotation in my shower since I bought them. For some reason my roommate thinks it’s weird that I have different shower gels in rotation. Please tell me I’m not the only one that does this? Haha.

Ohh and this is my one year ‘anniversary’ of keeping empties. I even have a spreadsheet. #nerdproblems

This is truly epic! I love this thread; seeing what people love enough to buy again and what doesn't work for them is intriguing :smileyhappy: I'm not too keen on the Nars or Too Faced Eyeshadow primers either, and I've been road testing these from almost every brand that will give me samples this month. Not sure why because I find Benefit's Stay Don't Stray works great; I guess I'm just always looking out for something better! Next I'm trying Laura Mercier's :smileyhappy:

Re: Empties

i'm taking a marketing class and in one of discussions last night the prof said something about 16% of customers of their brand have multiple bodywashes and lotions opened - usually 4 -8 different ones...some people in the class were shocked that one would have that many products open at once..i was shocked that only 16% of their customers are normal!

Re: Empties

I always have my Dr.Bronners in my shower along with a few girly body washes and usually some aveeno body wash for when my skin is acting silly.

Re: Empties

Interesting. I don't understand people that can only have one body wash & lotion open. I need to hoard my bodycare products. I need variety! #wearethe16percent

Re: Empties

I have four lotions open now because I need them strategically placed. We use one body wash here, just not into scented bodywashes.

Re: Empties

whoa.  I think that I have 4 opened body washes for variety.  I wouldn't know where to put 8!

Re: Empties

Epic, indeed.

I have multiple body washes open at any given time as well.  There are certain things I prefer to have one or two open at a time, but body wash and moisturizers are not one of them.  I use different ones depending on my mood and how my skin is feeling.  It's not just you.

I love that you keep a spreadsheet.  This nerd can relate, although I have not done it yet.  When you're trying as many items as we are, it is way too easy to forget, so a spreadsheet is a good idea.

Love the Korres sleeping facial and wish I would have gotten some of the 100 point perks a while back.

I liked the Sephora Rose mask and am unsure whether I want to buy more.  Can I ask what you did not like about it (to help push me one way over the other)?
