2016 HOLIDAY REWARD CARD - BI, VIB & ROUGE

Uh-oh! It has come to our attention that Reward Cards were mistakenly coded for deactivation at midnight eastern time instead of pacific time for all Beauty Insiders.  We have worked to fix this as quickly as possible by creating an additional window of time tomorrow (Thursday, December 15th) for any Beauty Insider, VIB or Rouge who haven't had a chance to redeem their Reward Card to do so โ€“ from 6am EST (3 am PST) until 11:59 pm EST (8:59 pm PST). As you're our valued clients, we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Should you have any issues or questions, please contact Sephora Client Service at 1-877-SEPHORA or via email at customerservice@sephora.com (customer service hours 8am - 12am EST/5am - 9pm PST)  

 

What is the Beauty Insider Reward Card?

The Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer is a holiday promotion offering Beauty Insiders a reward card for $15 off of any merchandise purchase of $50 or more, Very Important Beauty Insiders (VIBs) $20 off of any purchase of $50 or more, and VIB Rouge clients $25 off of any purchase of $50 or more. Beauty Insiders can use their reward card from 12/2 - 12/13 and VIB and Rouge clients can use theirs from 12/2 - 12/14.

 

How do I get my offer if Iโ€™m a Beauty Insider but havenโ€™t received my 2016 Holiday Reward Card yet?

The holiday reward cards will start being emailed to Beauty Insiders, VIBs, and Rouge clients on December 2nd. If you have not received your reward card by December 3rd, please check your email's spam folder to see if it was filtered there. You can also call us at 1-877-737-4672 to verify your account status. Representatives are available to assist you from 6am to 9pm PST Monday-Friday and 8am to 7pm PST Saturday and Sunday.

 

How do I enter my reward card on Sephora.com?

  • Login in to your account at Sephora.com.
  • Once you finish shopping, click on Checkout.
  • From the Checkout page, enter your Gift Card number and PIN in the "Use Gift Card, eGift Card or Reward Card" field and click on โ€œApply.โ€
  • Hit the โ€œContinue" button in the lower right hand corner of the Payment area. You will see the Gift Card amount deducted from your total order on the right hand side of the page. 

 

Can I add my reward card to my Passbook?

Yes, you have the option to add your reward card to your Passbook on your mobile device from your reward card email. You must be opted into our emails to receive your reward card email.

 

When do the reward cards expire?

The BI $15 off reward card is good on all merchandise purchases from December 2 โ€“ December 13. The VIB $20 / VIB Rouge $25 reward card is good from December 2 โ€“ December 14. VIBs / Rouge get one extra day to shop.

 

Can I use my Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer online and in stores?

Yes, the holiday Reward card can be redeemed one time either online or in store. 

 

Can you combine my Beauty Insider reward card with my regular Gift Card?

No, the cards cannot be merged. 

 

Can I use more than one Beauty Insider reward card?

No, the cards cannot be combined. 

 

Can I split up my Reward Card into two transactions?

No, the entire reward card value must be consumed in one transaction.

 

Can I use my Reward Card more than once?

No, the holiday promotional reward card is a one-time-use-only reward card valid for one shopping transaction at any U.S. and Canadian Sephora store, online, or Sephora Inside JCP only.

 

Can I combine my Reward Card with another promotional discount?

No, the holiday reward card may not be combined with any other promotional discounts.

 

Is there a minimum spend with the Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer?

Yes, the reward card can only be redeemed with a merchandise purchase $50 or higher.

 

Will I get Beauty Insider points with items I purchase with my promotional Beauty Insider Reward Card?

Yes, Beauty Insider points will be accrued with the merchandise purchase made with the holiday promotional reward card.

 

Is the Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer available in Sephora inside JCPenney?

Yes, the Reward card may be redeemed at Sephora Inside JCPenney locations.

 

Will my Beauty Insider Reward Card Offer work in Canada?         

Yes! The reward card may be redeemed in Canada, online using the unique promotion code or in stores when you present your email at checkout.

 

How do I enter my reward card at Canadian checkout?

  • Login in to your account at Sephora.ca.
  • Once you finish shopping, click on Checkout.
  • From the Checkout page, enter your unique promotion code number in the Promotion Code area.
  • Click the โ€œApplyโ€ button.
  • You will see the Gift Card amount deducted from your total order on the right hand side of the page.

 

Can I sign up for Beauty Insider now and get a Reward Card?

To qualify for the 2016 holiday promotional reward card, you must have been opted-in to our Beauty Insider program by November 29, 2016.

I just became a VIB / VIB Rouge, can I get the $20 / 25 Reward Card instead of the $15 / 20?

Yes, please call us at 1-877-737-4672 so a representative can verify your account status. Representatives are available to assist you from 6am to 9pm PST Monday-Friday and 8am to 7pm PST Saturday and Sunday.

 

I am already a VIB / VIB Rouge and I received the $15 BI Reward Card, what should I do?

 If I used my card gift and return the product, will I receive a refund for the amount of the Reward Card? 

No, you will receive a credit for the amount of the purchase minus the reward card.

I'm not happy. There is no reason for it to be a promo code... and now I'm even more po'd because some in Canada will get gc while other get promo codes??? How is that fair?

If it is a promo code instead of a giftcard it *MIGHT* not be unique to a user, even tho it is one-use per user? Once you have used it, maybe you can have someone 'test' to try and use it after you and see if it works?

Very Upset right now - will NEVER be Rouge again. I became Rouge after they had made the cards in their system so I only got the VIB @$20 card instead of the $25. I call the So called ROUGE hotline and they said they can't send me the $25 card - I will have to call and place my order with customer service to get the $25 discount - WTH - I don't want to have to be on the phone to make an order- Never again

@LWard930-I know how upsetting that can be. As @dapt529 said, try to give yourself a little time to shake it off and then maybe you will feel differently about the phone order.

If it's an issue about not being able to get cashback by linking through another site, then I know that's extra annoying. Maybe try to total it up and see if $20.00 online with cashback is a better deal then $25.00 off over the phone. It's unfortunate that it went down this way. ๐Ÿ˜ž

 

My other suggestion is to call back and ask for a supervisor in your nicest voice possible. Just say you need additional help that you feel a supervisor could provide and that it's not about anything nasty or bad. The CS Rep might want details, just go through it calmly, killing them with kindness (More flies with honey then Vinegar. ๐Ÿ˜‰) and you may even find that the first rep can help you somehow. You get different responses from different people ***and I'm not just talking abut Sephora, it happens everywhere.*** Plus there are additional staff members working for the holidays (as far as I know) who may not know the ropes or may not be as invested in keeping a loyal Rouge caller happy.

I won't even tell you the whopper of an issue I had, I stayed very calm on the phone - but after cooling off I called back (I did not name the previous rep and throw her under the bus - that may be key to getting your way) the next rep was able to fix the problem in a heartbeat! Just be cool and calm and super nice. That may just end up working, give it a go. What do you have to lose? 

 

Unlike me, I lost my long awaited and coveted Lash Stash, it was in my cart and ready to go.....unfortunately, it decided to go somewhere else.๐Ÿ˜Ÿ It was OOS by the time I got my code and I'm super bummed, Zero option to get to a store. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ I Neeeed That! Sorry, mini pity party over. Best of luck, let us know how you make out.

 

sorry so long - Oh, btw, my Rouge code expires 12/14, others end 12/13. Not 100% sure if that's BI and VIB, but I'm pretty sure.

I am not sure what the cutoff date is, I believe I read somewhere October 15th, I could be mistaken. Sorry that happened but at least you can still get your 25 even if you have to order over the phone.

If I buy 3 items does the $15 get divided amongst the 3 items, or do they just take $15 off the total? I might have to return 1 item if the color is wrong, and I'm wondering how much of the $45 will I get back. The full $45 or less?

@bonafide11 Thanks for pointing the last question, I missed that one. I want to buy the Burberry Powder Foundation, but I'm afraid the lightest shade may be too dark , in that case my only option would be exchanging for something else.

Wondering this too. I want some Tom Ford lipsticks but there is not a store within 100 miles of me that carry them so I can't go swatch on my skin tone. Just going off swatches online. Wondering if I don't like the color if I could exchange for another one.

Yup. One year I lost it. =( Because I bought a Tarte holiday set and it sucked and I took it back and asked the same question. I remember losing my code that year and was bummed @DaintyDiva

I think if you return an item, you lose it (see last question). Exchanges should be fine since you're just getting the same product and not money.

Last year I got mine around 1:30 pm ET on Dec 2 (first day of last years promo) so it's likely tomorrow morning.
