Your Favorite Lip Color [ Edited ]

Hello everyone!

Just for a fun post and to see what your favorites are... what is (are) your favorite Lip colors and product?

My all time favorite lipcolor is a pastel pink by Lancome called "Pale Lip" which is super pink and almost chalky. I love it!

My favorite lipgloss is of course, my Buxom Gloss in "Sandy" which is the perfect neutral and everyday/night shade. LOVE!

None of them top my list, but I do also really love the Buxum glosses.  I noticed a few of you have put them as your favorites.  I have several colors including berry colors that I usually wouldn't buy like Betsy and Dolly, in addition to my favorite pinks, corals, and nudes. I am really wanting to try more of their products (the lip tarnish, lip balm, and cream lip gloss).

Lipgloss- All of them seem to goopy to me, my hair gets stuck in my gloss all the time so I save it for occasions.

Hi!  My favorite lip products at the moment are Buxom Amsterdam  (I love my lips but better lip colors) and Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment.

I'm glad we're allowed to list more than one lol.

An overall recent favorite for me are the Revlon Lip Butters.  Don't underestimate this drugstore product! lol.  I have been giving the Sugar Frosting one quite the workout.  The lip butters are better at moisturizing my lips than Burt's Bees, which was unexpected.

Nars Cruising.  It was my first NARS product, and I'm in love!

Kat Von D lipsticks have great color payoff, too.  I love Adora and Cathedral for bolder lip looks, and Adora is the perfect red for me.

Victoria's Secret LE Perfect Lipstick in Pulse.  I bought it last summer, and I am glad that Kat Von D's Backstage Bambi is a close dupe.

I also have to add Origins Rain or Shine Lipstick in Razzleberry(raspberry pink), Merle Norman Lipstick in Satin Cinnamon(matte baby pink) and Burts Bees Lip Shimmer in Watermelon, Rhubarb and Guava(all pink and must have staple product).

The Origins lipsticks are *amazing*. They are minty fresh and very hydrating. The colors shown online are not accurate and dont do them justice. When you swatch them on your hand or a tissue the colors are stunning and on the lips they last until you eat or drink and they are very pigmented! A+

I wish Sephora carried MAC, Chanel, and Origins and Clarins makeup.

ohhh I love everyone's choices! It's so hard to pick more than one! I also used to love (and miss!) the Tarte mix and match lipgloss wands where you could switch the shades or just carry one small tube. They were super buttery, soft and non sticky! I've had a hard time finding a match for them..

However, none can compare to the pot of lip balm I scored for $1.99 at the checkout counter in the GAP outlet store my freshman year of high school.  It was a super-sheer, non-sticky, perfect candy apple red, almost like I dipped my finger in the candy apple dip and smeared it on my lips, but completely transparent and goo-free.  And it smelled like candy apple, too!!

I love NARS Barbarella and Heat Wave lipsticks because they are similar to the colors my Grandma always wore, and my Gran always has a tin of Rosebud Perfume Co Strawberry Lip Balm in her purse, a habbit i picked up for myself.

I always tend to gravitate toward mauve and rose shades. My current favorite is Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Nude Rose (an interesting color -- it's definitely a noticeable pink, but with a touch of nude to balance it out). I also love Soft Nude.

Other staples are NARS Cruising (nude pink -- I've gone throught at least 3 tubes), Burberry English Rose (mauvey pink), Dusty Rose (brighter mauvey pink), Devon Sunset (coral pink) and Golden Peach (peachy coral).

I have also been (strangely!) into orange-based colors lately -- I've always avoided them because my undertones seem blue-ish (rather than pink or yellow -- but normally I'll say they are pink/cooler, even neutral), but I love the contrast they create (such as NARS Heat Wave, Wonder (gloss), Odalisque (Larger Than Life gloss)). A year ago, I would have been like, "Orange, are you kidding?" but I kind of really like it (at the moment).

My absolute favorite lip color is Dior Addict Lipstick in 454 but I also love Lancome Color Design Lipstick in Poodle Skirt and Pink in the Limo, Givenchy Rouge Interdit Shine Lipstick in Candy Shine and NARS Lipstick in Cruising.

I absolutely love it, its hard to find nowadays. I was told by Neiman Marcus that its a discontinued item but Lancome counters at Macy's or Bealls still carry it. Pinks look the best on me and all of the ones I really like are different variations of each other haha, they are all very similar. But I use them and its important to buy what you will use up, not what you will wear once and ignore until it expires.
