Ohhhhh, that blue!!!! There's nothing better than a pop of color on a dreary day!
I can't stop staring. I love it!
oh i'm so in love with this
Love this eye and lip combination, so pretty!
So beautiful. That pop of colour looks perfect for a gray day!
I decided to start my own theme for may: #mixitupmaypalette challenge. No two days will be repeated, and I'm trying not to really repeat palettes (although in the case of the 20-pan Marc Jacobs palette for example it's ok to do multiple looks, but can't repeat shades).
Since it's been days since I've seen the sun, Day 1 was a simple choice: Laura Mercier's Paris After the Rain Palette. I'm all smoky and dramatic and sitting at home with a Sunday Funday soft tunic and leggings. No shame.

I like this plan! Two days per palette seems much more feasible than a whole week. What's wrong with being all glam and comfy? Sounds ideal to me!
Those lashes! Wow!!! 🙂
They're actually very natural looking falsies IRL- I spotted some Revlon false lashes at my local Rite Aid and couldn't resist.
(I prefer a lot of the Natural Ardell lashes, for example. Babies are my go-to.)
Even better? I was able to carefully remove and totally clean to re-use them. Score!
How is this done? Lashes consistently end up being one time affairs for me.
For one thing, I actually had no mascara on with them. That helps.
To remove, I soak a soft cotton pad (Shiseido facial cotton) with a good eye makeup remover (I swear by Chanel's). Gently remove eye makeup aside from lashes and lash line.
Come back in with a clean cotton pad with makeup remover and just lay it gently on top of the lash band and hold for 15-30 seconds. About 50% of the time when you lift the pad, the lashes will be on the cotton pad. If not, check to see if the adhesive has dissolved. Put the lashes aside on a clean tissue.
Once you've finished taking off makeup and washed your face, wash and dry your hands. Carefully pick off the adhesive remnants off the lash band. Once It's clean, either carefully pack the lashes away for the next use or remove any makeup remover residue and let dry first.
I've just recently started playing w/ false lashes. It's so fun!
This is a beautiful eye look!
Thank you! I generally don't post my face (any of it) but do get intimidated posting makeup looks in general.
Thought I would play around with a mermaid-y look today. Wearing KVD Mi Vida Loca palette, Becca Pearl, and Guerlain Black Perfecto.
You look beautiful!
Thank you, Bem! 😊
Lovely, and your skin is glowing!
Thank you, Angel!!
LOVE. You're such a creative, magical and ethereal person ❤️
Aw, thanks, Shannon! You are too sweet. 😊
