What Do You Tend To Buy More Of?

When shopping for makeup, what do you tend to buy more of, or what are you willing to spend more for? 

For me, I tend to buy more eyeshadow and I'm willing to spend more on it than other products.  On the other hand, I'm not willing to spend as much as face makeup products.  Since I only use sheer/light coverage, I often think to myself 'Do I really want to spend that amount on a TM or find something at a lower price?'  I'd say lip products are kind of in the middle.

I tend to buy the most lip products, because I love lip gloss. In a close second is the mascara/eyeshadow group, and I buy the least face stuff. If I like a foundation, I usually stay with it then find another when I'm done. I definetly have almost no blush, bronzer, or highlighter because my skin is acne-prone and blush makes it look more red, I haven't found a shade of bronzer that doesn't make my face look dirty, and my face is shiny because its oily so why use a highlighter?!? I'll try anything once though especially because of Sephora's awesome return policy!

I tend to buy lipsticks and lip colors. I like mixing it up a lot and combining shades

I do spend a lot on face products, but I love lip balms and mascara way too much. I have drawers full of lip balms and I have all the the colors of Fresh Sugar Lip Balms and I use them everyday. Also, I love lashes, so I have tons. On days when I don't feel like gluing stuff to my face I have a lot of different mascaras that I layer on, so I spend a lot on that. I'm not really in to eyeshadow that much. I tend to put a dark brown on my lids and some white in the corners but that's it. So in order of what I spend the most on:

1)Lip and face products

2)Lashes and mascara

3)Nail polish

4)Eyeshadow palettes

Everything! Usually eyeshadow, but lately I have been accumulating EVERYTHING. I guess I am just a sucker for makeup and skincare right now, though I have been able to control my nail polish addiction, for now. The only thing I am not too crazy over buying is eyebrow stuff.

For me, because I wear minimal make up (concealer, eyeliner, and occasionally mascara) I don't mind spending more money on these products. I'm really picky about what I put on my face because I'm paranoid about break-outs, so I would rather spend extra money on a good quality product. I also don't mind splurging on facial cleaners, toners, and moisturizer, I'm obsessed with my skin and freak out at the sight of the smallest blemish. But the one product that I can never get enough of is nail polish, I'm always collecting more and more of it!

I have more eye shadows more than anything else. Now if I ever want a shadow I get a single cream shadow because I love those and I use them up completely. I love Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow!!!

I'm willing to spend more on a good eye shadow pallet. I like playing up my eyes so I like a good variety of shadows that last all day. I don't like spending a lot on nail polish remover. Since I like using glitter polishes, I get 100% acetone and spend no more than a few dollars at a drugstore.

Eyeshadow without a doubt. I spend very little on lip products because I tend to just use a lip balm as I like the focus to be on my eyes. Everything else tends to be in the lower-middle end of the spectrum.

Being a man (ah-hmm ah -hmmm 0, )_  I don't need foundation, but I would prefer to

spend on Fragrances !

Have you tried Lacoste Essential or Givenchy Pi? I love those two cologne SO much and if I were a guy, I would totally wear them, and if I have a bf, I'd totally spray it all over him (except he's probably freak out since my affinity is toward nerds who usually have aversion to these kinda thing). p.s. if you are interested, Essential is very clean, sporty, fresh and sharp. Pi is very warm, woody, and a bit spicy.

I tend to buy a LOT of lipgloss. I have a lot of eyeshadow but it's something I really control spending wise (I've gotten eyeshadow as a gift a lot) because I never finish/hit pan on an eyeshadow. Meanwhile, with lipgloss, I also think i'm going to finish it (I think i've only ever finished 2 glosses..) because there isn't as much product and I wear gloss more often than eyeshadow. I really need to stop. Oh well!

I used to be a crazy eyeshadow hoarder. As in I had far too many different versions of the same shade.. or variations of the same shade. I stopped wearing so many bright colors and shades but will still admit I have at least 10 different shades of brown (not including palettes)and the same with purple shadows. This also includes colored eyeliners. 

I've really toned down my makeup a LOT and spend WAY too much money on nail polish these days. I actually cleaned out my supply a few months ago.. Only to purchase double of what I got rid of. I love polish so much! and nail stickers, jewels and designs too. Funny I say that as I have nothing on my nails right now.

I did just purchase some new Sephora Collection Nail Bling! My instagram picture doesnt do it justice but they're so easy to apply and remove I love them! I'm wearing pink ones now but also purchased the purple fireworks design! Black flower was another I wore, Gorgeous!

Skin care. I have a ton of it, plus I get monthly Rx's even though I'm still on the first tube (my insurance is ending when I turn 26 next month so I'm stocking up!).

Bubble bath, bath gel, body wash, etc. Especially Philosophy's 3-in-1 stuff. The scents are too irresistable.. I just wish they'd linger longer.

I used to be an eyeshadow fiend, especially MAC eyeshadow, but I haven't bought any in a long time. I gave away my huge 86 color pallette from China because it sucked and wasn't very pigmented, and I gave away some other eyeshadow pallettes due to a lack of use. Now I rarely wear eyeshadow.. but I'm thinking about getting back to wearing it.

I've spent the most money on skincare for my acne/hyperpigmentation, and then foundation (I got the Bare Minerals customizable starter kit, which is a steal)

Like most of you have said, I have an extensive eyeshadow collection. There are so many shadow colors out there and almost every shade is available in different textures. I don't mind spending more on eyeshadow, however I don't discriminate against cheaper shadows either. I have lots of different eyeshadow brands in my collection from Dior to drug store brands.

I typically will only have 2-3 foundation products at a time, so usually I will typically splurge on these, especially if it's a product that I've heard wonderful things about.

The one product I almost always spend more on is nail polish. I do all of my own nail treatments, so having high quality products really helps in making my manis and pedis lasting longer.

I'm in the middle when it comes to blush, skincare, lip products, eyeliner, and mascara.

well i tend to buy more face makeup and skincare, since i think as long as i have nice luminous skin everything else falls behinds. i think after that comes perfume - i don't know, i don't spend much on eye products since i'm a mascara and eyeliner that's all sort of person and i don't use lipstick too often and i don't like lipgloss all that much, eh!

I'm a skincare addict, hands down. As I'm aging, it seems to take more products to look better. As a teen, I was a quick wash with Noxema or Clearasil wash, and a spot pimple treatment and that was it. Cheap and simple. Now I have special anti aging wash, exfoliants, serums, moisturizer and eye treatments along with the whole host of fancy acne treatments. I can easily spend $100 on antiaging products every couple of months.

As far as makeup goes, I spend the most on eyeshadow, I'm a sucker for the next neutral palette that comes on the market. I am still seeking a good lip stain and lipsticks just frustrate me because they are always migrating to my teeth or fine lines. I'm good with a BB cream, so I'm not spending as much on foundation now, save that for special events. Concealer just lasts forever, same with blush. Mascara- I can use Rimmel or Dior, same effect.

I find myself buy more of eyeshadow. Everytime i go to Sephora or online i immediately check out the eyeshadows of EVERY brand first! It SERIOUSLY makes a difference with eyeshadow of which brand. If i buy cheap drugstore eyeshadow...its usally crappy... as in terrible texture, doesnt blend well and is very little to bad pigmentation.With the exception of like one or two drugstore brands, for me.

Second is lip products... i buy lipgloss, lipsticks, second to the most. And it depends...

Lipsticks in drugstore brands are usually good as well as high end but lipgloss is another story!

I hate tacky lipgloss that smells funny.. so with that i'll spend more on it, because typically its expected that high end gloss is aton better!

I currently use drugstore foundation but my next trip to Sephora i am going to try out a few foundations and pick out the one best for me!
