What COLORS are you into this month?

So I just realised that I have been on a pink-kick this past month.  All of my basics (blush, lip, nails) have been somewhere within the pink family for the three or so weeks.    This is unusual for me because I am not a pink kinda girl.  But I am really loving this routine.  Any one else on a color binge? LOL

I'm using: STILA Custom Color in Pink, Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart and Mint Julep Polish in Niecy:

For some reason, I'm on a turquoise kick!  I wore turquoise UD Glide On Shadow Pencil in Clash as liner yesterday and bought a bunch of new undies in turquoise on my last visit to Victoria's Secret! I dug out my old MAC Turquatic shadow and was playing around with the turquoise colors in the new Sephora + Pantone palette. 

Totally unlike me, maybe the hot weather is affecting my brain. lol

I've been on a pink and neutrals kick with some UD Freelove thrown in lol.  My Naked palette has had quite the workout this summer in general lol.  As for pinks, I've been using my Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting quite often, and yesterday I wore my other pink one.

Lately I have been wearing a LOT of orange and navy blue. A drastic change from my black and pink routine!

I decided to take a photo of the items I have been reaching for the most this month.

With more neutral/natural eye looks, either coral or this lipgloss (goes on not as intense as the tube):

The navy gel liner does not photo too well but i've been using that with more neutral and orange leaning eye shades.

@Ran8 I love that Nars palette you have, I want to use more blues but they are SO tricky to wear sometimes and just don't flatter my skintone

I even like that berry color of gloss you are showing there!  That would be cool if it's a sort of sheer-wash of color!

Ever since I've seen this website with beauty tips, I've been trying to recreate an eye look. So my color obsession is a teal or light blue. I'll use either one and try to highlight it with a brown from Naked or N2, and I've finally found the perfect shade of brown it seems they've used. Plus, I like suing pinks and corals in summer.

I've been really into pink this month. Pink lipsticks, soft pink blushes, pink nail polish. That's usually the color I reach for the most. A close second favorite would probably be all things purple, especially with my nails.

I really like that deep eggplant purple, I recently got a lipstick in that color, it's an excellent color for evenings out for a more vampy look. It's a nice alternative to red lipstick if you're looking for that statement making pop. I have a feeling I'll be wearing a lot more of this color come fall.

Thanks guys.  It’s really interesting to see what everyone’s wearing. Looks like  a lot of corals, which is a great summer color….I have been holding out on getting Benefit’s Coralista which has been on my shopping list for months.

@maltipoo – I picked mine (Revlon Kissable Stain Balm) up at ULTA, but I have seen it in CVS (East Coast).  I think they are really popular, when I got mine there were only a few left.

@beautytester – mint green is great, I was using a Mint Green Nail Polish that came with my JP subscription all of May/June, lol. 

@Gymchic365 – I bought a neon purple eyeliner on a whim a while nack but I haven't been daring enough to try it.  Maybe I will give it a go. :-)

I have been really into corals/darker shades of peach, but just for lipgloss and lipstick. I just discovered that they look better than a baby pink and just as good as red on my fair complexion(my lips have a little too much natural pigment for pink lol). For eyes, I'm pretty much always into neutrals(duh who isn't?!?) and for the summer it's neon eyeliner all the way baby! Clothes wise, also lots of bright colors like bright red, electric purple, or neon blue(I swear it's not too obnoxious)

EDIT: Sorry I totally tried to post some pics of products, but I have no clue how to do that. Someone should make a tutorial for the computer-challenged people...

@Gymchic. There's the row of icons on top of where you type the posts, after the first bar "|", the 6th icon with a tree is for inserting pictures, 7th is for videos. The 5th, pancake with whipped cream, is for spoiler tags. If the images are online, I find it much easier to just right click the picture, "copy image", then ctrl+p.

How is it that some posts allow "comments" but some posts only allow "reply"?

By the way, the "pancake with whipped cream" is actually a smiley icon with its hand over its eyes lol

@Gymchic. Oh that makes much more sense. Every time I post something, I couldn't help but glance at it, and it bug the hell outa me cuz I couldn't figure out why in the world is the spoiler tag a pancake with whipped cream.

 ised to do heavy dark eyes with neutral lip but now i have switched to heavy lip with neutral eye. I've been exploring modest corals and work-appropriate reds ( toned down with a lipbalm).

Generally, yellow -- but not for makeup! For makeup, I've fallen in love with orangey red lipsticks. NARS Heat Wave is my go-to red for evenings out!

Hi!  I'm definitely into more pinks this summer too-  more cool, lilac-pink lip colors (like the MUFE rouge artist natural N18 lipstick and a Clinique Chubby stick), which is a new shade range for me.  Last summer I was definitely more into coral-who knows what winter will bring?  Also, where did you get your Revlon lip stain?  I've been on the lookout for these new ones at all the CVS's and Duane Reade's near me, and haven't seen them!

My obsession/color-binge is mint green. Not pastel blue, not turquoise, not pastel green. mint green. I don't care what it is, if the color is true mint green, I want it. I'm literally buying every mint green item I see. After excercising great self-restraint, I brought these 4:

I found the last one of the lace tee, 2 size too small, but I can still wear it as undershirt right?

 

Not a binge but I've been on a make up quest for 1-2 years trying to find a good bright orange eyeshadow. Most "orange" are either coral, warm bronze, or copper. I want real orange, with no pink, no red, no gold, just bright pastel orange. The color of the year is too dark and too red/pink. Sorta like this but not as pastel.

I also want to find a good fire engine red lipstick (most are too light, too dark, too brown, too blue-red), but right now my signature/statement is bright fuschia/pink. I still haven't found the ideal for either one, but I'm in no hurry, cuz I want it to be perfect.

what about the "color of the year" by sephora . isnt it orange-ish? or was that too red?
