Hi ladies!

Summer is one of my favorite seasons and it's just around the corner. I'm beyond ready for warmer weather, sundresses, shorts, and bikinis. I am also really eager to start getting some of the new products that we have available. I am a huge nail lover, I typically change my nail color 2-3 times a week, so needless to say I had a huge grin on my face when I found out that we were adding 4 new polish brands. 

Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo

I love illuminators, and the fact that this compact contains both a gold highting powder AND a pink one makes this an ideal product for traveling.

Summer Eye Summertime Sexy Eyeshadow Collection

This is a really playful palette, with a nice mixture of colors. It reminds me of Hawaii , so pretty!

Ciaté Caviar Manicure

I'm very eager to get my hands on this set. I like the idea of textured nails and know this is going to be a HUGE trend for spring/summer.

Butter London 3 Free Nail Lacquer

I was playing around with these in our office. The texture and payoff is superb. They have a lot of nice tropical pastel colors. I think my favorite is Chancer, which I know isn't a traditional summer color...but I'm a sucker for red nail polish. When I put this on my nails I instantly thought of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz's ruby red slippers. This is a nice twist on a classic nail color. I can't wait to try Trout Pout, Slapper, and Macbeth.

These are things I'd get if I weren't on a no-buy:

Nano Liners in Precious Silver & Wild Spirit. I don't have a silver or a purple eyeliner.

Sephora Citrus Sunset tweezers. How pretty are these!?

Sephora Favorites for Summer. I like kits, what can I say?

Fresh On-the-Go Faves. I'm addicted to the lip treatment and would like to try the perfume.

Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit for Her. Too cute.

Smashbox Try It Kit. Another kit, I haven't tried much from Smashbox.

Sephora Train Case. My Caboodle train case is on the fritz (probably because it is STUFFED)

It really helps that a few of these are not in stock online and I don't like going to the mall to go to Sephora due to the sheer insanity that is the parking lot.

Also, I kind of want a tangerine eyeliner, but I'm not sure I can rock it.

I also really want more Ecotools brushes. I like them better than all of my Bare Escentuals brushes. I have 2 right now and I really want these but I havent seen them anywhere yet! Its the buffer brush, the bronzer brush, the little concealer brush, and the retractable kabuki brush, I want them all!

@Sephoramusthave I see you and a lot of users raving about EcoTools but I have yet to try them myself! They sound like great quality and are different from the standard black or silver barrels.

I think my new Summer Want is a good gradual tan lotion and a new face mask or peel. I love my Dior but am really thinking of buying either the Bliss Oxygen Mask or Ren Glyolic.

oh and I really want this makeup traincase...Its at Supertarget for 35 bucks, the brand is Caboddles, its the same size/weight/durability that other similar cases have that cost 100+ dollars, you can fit tons of items in it, and it comes with 2 keys so you can lock it. (I guess thats good if you have younger sisters or something hehe I dont know why anyone would want to lock their makeup up). It has 4 trays in it that pop out, 2 on each side, and there's plenty of room under those for things like bigger palettes and brushes. I really love it and honestly...I've seen tons of similar ones at Sephora and Ulta and I dont see the difference in the more expensive ones and this one. Its the exact same thing, only this one isnt a big brand name. I would still use my Betseyville Makeup set for travel/skincare items and such but this would be good for home, to keep everything in one spot. I dont like putting makeup in different areas. And I LOVE that it has a ton of space on the botton under the trays, most traincases dont have very much space there.

my main summer wants are a coral/orange cream blush and a maxi dress! I think i've satisfied most of the other summer wants I had lol

I will get it eventually, right now I have to save my money for my vacation next month. Its always around, and its always been around so I dont have any pressure to get it now. I've looked at the Sephora and ULTA traincases but they dont have enough space on the bottom (even for me). I've seen the Target one in person many times, it looks like something that would cost over 100 bucks, its very sturdy/heavy and spacious. I wish that it had dividers in the shelves, but I can make those myself if I even need them. The inside is material, but I would put some kind of plastic on the bottoms so that its kept clean. Its silver and it looks professional and chic and its the biggest traincase that Caboodles makes, and its the biggest traincase that I have seen so far. And for 35 bucks you really cant beat it. When all is said and done its just a box that holds my makeup. I actually thought about getting one of those big fancy cardboard boxes that people use to store pictures because I didnt want to spend a lot of money for a makeup holder, but this is better and it costs about the same. This is what a fully stocked one looks like....

I hadn't seen that Lorac Set, but now that some of you posted it I want it too!!  Definitely a must have and a great value...

I really want to try out the new Too Faced Better than False Lashes Mascara/Primer...

I am obsessed with this color and so excited for butter nail polishes!

I am also excited to try these new nail polishes- and this color!

This looks so cool....

And I have been wanting this for a while... Better than paying for a microdermabrasion at a spa or dermatologist office!

That lipstick looks so nice!

I picked up the SPF kit, the toofaced sexy summer eye kit, and st. tropez bronzing mousse.

I still want the Fresh coral lip balm, DKNY be delicious, Sephora opi it's my pink! and paisley attention to me polishes as well as NARS kutku polish and possibly the NARS Beach Lover set depending on how the swatches of the lip gloss and eyeshadow stick turn out. I'm also hesitant about the hungry heart highlighter and fear it could be a glittorama.

I cannot wait for summer to come too! I always load up on the self tanner and bright colored make up=) I also love all the neon bright clothing that I am seeing for spring/summer.

Well, I can't put the whole site but I do have a few things I'd like to try!

I of course want the same Lorac set and can't wait for my caviar pearls to arrive!

But I'd also like a few new skincare items to make my skin glowing and soft for the summer and the butter polishes for cute toes! The Butter basecoat is amazing, it has a matte finish and looks super cool!

I'm looking forward to Sephora's Sun Safety Kit.  I love those little travel size sun products, so handy to pop in my purse makeup bag. Plus I get to try out new things that I always forget to get a sample of when I am at the store. I already have some of the items so it will be nice to get backups.

I love a new summer fragrance, I think Prada's Infusion d'Iris or one of the Ralph Lauren Big Pony fragrances (my 2 favorites are 1 & 3) might be it. 

I love to wear shorts, tee shirts, a big floppy hat and sunglasses and just go for a leisurely walk along the river. Except my new sunglasses are bifocals because if I want to read a book or see the speedometer while driving, they are a necessity. (Yow, old age is creeping up on me)!

I just got the sephora sun safety kit! Awesome! So many options for sun protection...ever since I hit 30 and holding...I've been a super fanatic about protecting myself from the sun, especially my face. In my kid years my mother never used sunblock, but when I hit my 20 s I finally wised up.

Today I ordered the 2012 Sun Safety kit! (I saw someone selling one on eBay and figured it was released, so I checked here and it was).

I already have a life time supply of mineral veil, but I am excited to get it. Especially because by the time it gets here, I'll have put out 5 stinking papers that I've been procrastinating on. Plus a lab report, and editing of a group lab report (which was written by my partner and is pretty awful and I might just redo it myself)

It seems that nails will be quite popular since both the launch of nail bars (in Sephora retail stores) and the addition of more nail brands.  At least four new brands are now available at Sephora to purchase.  One of the butter London polishes I might have to buy cause of the funky name. 

YSL launched their summer collection.  I'm on the fence with some of their choices but the No7 Pure Chromatics does spark my curiosity.  Seems like it would work well on its own or coordinating with more neutral shades.  And since I love colored mascara, both the shades appeal to me. 

The NARS summer collection is also worth looking at.  Lipstick choices, some i like, some are dull.  The shadows and blush I will have to try out. 

As for other summer collections, some are not out yet. 

Another want is a contouring powder and a flat blush brush.

Well, it looks like DC is going to have a few unseasonably warm days again next week so summer is coming a little early for us this year.  I look forward to buying fresh flowers for my condo every week and summer potpourri for the bathroom.  Plus I can't wait to exercise my right to "bare arms" in some of the chicest little black dresses and summer shifts I can find.  I look forward to peep-toe high heel pumps, sling-backs and strippy sandals.

As for makeup, I've already started stocking up.  I went to Sephora yesterday (bad, I know!) to look at a summer foundation, and was seriously considering the MUFE Duo Mat Powder Foundation, but I couldn't quite find that perfect match.  Talk about being disappointed!  The cast member then turned me on to NARS foundations and she found a perfect match for me.  I ended up purchasing the NARS Powder Poundation SPF 12 in the shade, New Orleans.  YAAAY!  Using a brush, it goes on very sheer and natural; the little sponge gives a more polished look, but it's still very light.  

I'm also very intrigued by Sephora's Color of the Year and am looking forward to trying the Sephora Color of the Year Eyeshadow Quad which was selected based on my eye and hair colors and skin tone.  I can't wait!  The colors are simply gorgeous:  Scallop Shell, Carnelian, Sparrow and Pavement.

Oooooh summer shopping! Since my shopping list didn't carry over, I had a great time filling it back up. lol

I just ordered the Lorac Wild For TANtalizer® Collection and Ciaté Caviar Manicure in Black Pearls.  SUPER excited for those!

Then I recently watched the Illamasqua Nail Graffiti tutorial.  I tried it and it was pretty easy to do.  I used olive green, light nude pink, black and yellow, but I think I need to invest in some brighter colors to play with.

Then there is fragrance.....I have so many I'm really trying NOT to buy any, but these 2 sets are seriously tempting me.  I love the smaller sizes and they all smell sooooo good.

My shopping list seems to be getting longer every day!  Summer is definitely my favorite month, so I'm so excited!  Here's what I'd love to get:
