Sephora Favorites Sets : share your thoughts, questions and pics

These sets are one of my favorite things about shopping at Sephora. I get to try a bunch of products for a lower price and always end up finding some HG items. 

Today, I got the Sephora Favorites: Beauty on the Fly. It was $42 plus ebates was at 8%.  For me, I've either been wanting to try all of these items, or have tried and really like them.

@notcreative Like you, I prefer lipstick and lipstick-y lippies, rather than liquid lipsticks or lipglosses; that's why I ordered the 2015 set instead of this year's. Thank you again for your highly-regarded recommendation!!

To let you know how highly regarded your opinions/recommendations are:

When Ulta had their one-day special on Macadamia Hair Mask earlier this year, it was sold out because you had mentioned that you loved it!!

A lot of us on BT bow down to you because you are very much respected and because you are very knowledgeable about certain things. Not to mention that you always seem to know the schedules of certain sales, etc. 🙂

Swatches of the Give Me Some Lip & Liner

Her swatches look so different from mine. I did use a flash, but I cannot figure out where she is getting the pinkish white shade fourth from the right. If that is the lipliner, it is so clear you can barely spot it on my skin (even to the naked eye). Her black also looks blue, her deep wine looks purple, and none of the reds are showing the way the show in real life.

Wow, you got that fast! What do you think of it? (Say, compared to last year's set.) I usually love these kits; I just don't how I feel about so many lip liners.

I loved last years set, but I will not be ready to compare them until I've tried some of these. I do not mind the lipliners, because there are still 10 other lip products.

On first impression, I'd say last year's was better.

 It takes me a while to review the whole thing, because I only wear one lip color a day (to review wear) and do not wear makeup everyday. But, I will follow-up here.

Somehow I see SF inside JCPENNEY has better lip sets, this year.

Yes, I usually prefer their sets around the holidays. I wish this one had a little less red. I'm still debating though lol!

Hey, do you know old SF sets online are used or not? My Sephora store tried to get rid of some old set and some of them was opened. If they try to get rid of

SF old sets then why they don't put these sets on sale rather than reg price.

I've bought many sets throughout the years in store that have been opened. I only buy them online now and the newer ones. The Bronze Bares All one was a set from last summer that is online again. I would bet that the old sets online are used as well.

It's opened and they didn't put it on sale. That's ridiculous.
