SPF kit traincase storage ideas

I thought I would start a thread to share ideas and give others ideas of how to make use of theirs.

I had a really nice furnished bronze caddy and utility cup set from Tj maxx but I only ever used the caddy for lip balms, sunscreen, my roll ons etc. because I don't like storing my brushes out in the open due to the general fuzz that flies around. Well, I am able to fit my brush cup with my brushes upright on one side fo the case, and on the other it holds my brush cleaner and eyelash curlers and then there is room for my beauty blender. I'm so happy because it balances out my vanity setup and looks very nicely displayed.

What has/is everyone else doing with their train cases?

I bought 2, because I love them so very much and it gives me double product for 1/2 the price.

The first one I use to keep crayons and markers for the kids so that they are easy to find and not on my floor.

The other one, well, kind of got delegated as the treat box. Every month we go change the treat in there for when the kids do something nice. It will vary from tootsie rolls to chocolate minis but it is always changing and it gives them a reason to help one another without being asked.

I wish that I had more, but since they sold out in 2 days, I guess I will hope that they do a similar one next year. I really liked the train case as opposed to the bags in the past. Much more useful.

Everyone has such great re-purposes for the Sun Safety Kits!  I'm so bummed I didn't get to pick one up this year :smileysad:  I love the idea of making it a treat box, like jojobe said, since I'm always trying to find a new and inventive way to get my kids to do their chores!  Thanks for all the great ideas ladies :smileyhappy:

I took all the scraps of cardboard and paper out and then put all my samples in. I have a ton and I also put the products from the kit in as well. It really helped with clutter and I even had my artist friend do a stain-glass like painting on it so it could stay out on my counter.

The Sunsafety Kit is such a good deal and the case itself is a great size! Everyone has already listed a number of really practical ideas. Clear traincases like this are not only ideal for beauty products, but can also work well for tiny household items (like tape scissors, paper clips, batteries, etc).

I think it would be really cute to use it as a little first aid kit...or even a little cold/flu supply kit; with medicine, cough drops, different teas, a thermometer, vitamin supplements, etc. I hate getting up a lot when I'm sick, so having a little kit to have nearby would be handy.

I gotta order this kit!  I missed last year's kit and am enthralled with trying new self tanners since Fusion Beauty discontinued Natural Tan.

I can't wait to get the little train case, I think I will put my smaller UD palettes in there, they are too big for my small drawer organizer and keep falling off the shelf. Or maybe my self tanner stuff, depends on how big the case is.

I seems like it would be a great place to store lip products. They waste so much space in my Sephora Collection Metro Train Case because they are not all the same size.

Hair stuff.

I've had short hairs before (read: tons of pins, clips and headbands) and long hairs before (read: a ton of hair bands) and variety of brushes. I dedicated a shelf to the hair accessories and brushes, but they migrate throughout the weeks and basically takes over my apartment (a couple on top of microwave, a couple beside the sink, a couple beside my bed...). This can keep all my hair stuff in one place and if I decide to do my hair in the bedroom intead of bathroom, I can just pick up the case instead of leaving things scattered everywhere.

I got this kit as well and I love it. there are so many things I want to try, like the tanning towels and the bb cream. it's really a good deal...and I'll find something to do with the case, I'm thinking nail polish.

The BB cream is great stuff. I love the finish and my skin texture is so nice hours after wearing it so I really like that aspect alot. The kate exfoliate lasts a long time, it faded slowly over the course of 4 days and withstood my clarisonic but the downside is there is a slight orange undertone that I didn't care for. I just got the St. Tropez bronzing mousse so I won't be using the tan towel but what I don't use I will pass along to my sister or friends :smileyhappy:

Hi msmisty!

I had a chance to check out the Sun Safety Kit in my office and wow, what a great deal! the case looks great to store nailpolish or lipgloss, for me I would probably fill it with cotton balls or my face tools for a good spot to keep them safe and from dust (Clarisonic and GLO system).

Really cute! :smileyhappy:

Re: SPF kit traincase storage ideas

It's definitely a great deal! I am really happy with it. I was thinking it would be great to have more kits like this like one for hair that included mini shampoos, conditioners, styling products/treatments. As well as a bath and body kit..featuring mini shave gels/foams/creams, a mini lavanilla deoderant, mini body washes and treatments. I haven't purchased much of the Sephora combo sets in the past but after getting the rollerball collection and this I am definitely keeping my eyes open for more similar sets. On top of being great deals it allows me to try things I'm curious about which is challenging as an online shopper and I already know I'll be buying a full size of the Boscia hydrator and Dr. jart bb cream so it's a win for the company too.
