Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

I love this. Some of them I would only be able to do on weekends, given my office job (and my apparent inability to wake up in time to put eye makeup on at home as opposed to the train lol), but these all look awesome.

SHIPPING UPDATE 🚨 Hey everyone, we wanted to give you all an update on our shipping facility + updates on shipping delays. We had our BIGGEST launch ever as a brand 10 days ago! It was so unreal how many of you sold out our new shades and broke our website from all the traffic! We SHOULD of been celebrating and jumping up and down.. Sadly the morning of our launch, we all showed up to our warehouse to discover we had been broken into. 4 guys cut into our metal doors, creating an entry way where they could grab anything they saw in sight and throw in into their van that was parked against our doors. It was devastating to say the least. We’ve felt violated and sadden by a loss of over $100,000 in shipping materials and products. Thankfully the police have obtained security footage and the license plate was obtained. Since the break in, police detectives found out it’s a ring of guys who have been breaking into warehouses for the last month, hitting businesses at random. 😭
We’ve kept quiet on this issue, had our launch that morning and was hoping it wouldn’t effect us.
It’s now been over a week later and BY TONIGHT we will be caught up with everyone’s orders! MOST of you have gotten your lipsticks by now! For those of you who have NOT: We understand the frustration this delay has caused you all! Having packages in “pre-shipment” for a days without movement, would make anyone want to slap us across the face. We can’t apologize enough and now have a grip on all this craziness! Never have we had this many orders, and dealing with the break in was the worst timing.
We are a firm believer in MOVING FORWARD and this won’t stop us from giving you all the best experience possible! THANK YOU to everyone for all the patience, love and understanding during this time. As if! I hope they catch those f-ers.  You know at least he posted an update about the delay.... I am sure people want their stuff but if you know the reason why there's a delay at least it's not as bad... communication is key... some businesses need to learn that.

It feels like that one person in the office and uses the "fun" font.  If I see even a hint of papyrus or comic sans, I'M OUT!

Gah - please tell me you all work with someone like this. Purple m'f'ing comic sans for my coworker. Along with some BS in her signature like "Sorry for any auto-incorrects sent from my phone." 

How about just be a professional adult and make sure you type your words correctly?

One of the managers where I work has a signature block that preemptively apologizes for the possibility of odd auto-corrects. It drives me insane.

I get really mad at office emails. A certain group of people all use the same (irritating) font and it's this weird blue color. No one else does. Just them. Stop trying to be a special snowflake. Just - stop. Please.

Yuppers @Anonymous There's someone here that has their signature in the glitter font everyone used on MySpace.  How did she even find it?! I like how your coworker's blaming autocorrect for not being able to type. Autocorrect isn't hitting send.
