Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !
today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

Happy 'I love my friends' Day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
After careful consideration I have decided the best way to express my love is through
STEAK and veggies (if you don't eat steak please pass the loves on to the carnivore to your right)
with kitten snuggles to follow!
Happy Galentine's Day!
I have a dry shampoo question. (I haven't used one in so long but I got the Batiste one recently because so many ppl rave about it) Can I use it before bed or does that defeat the purpose? Reason I ask is that tomorrow morning I won't have much time to deal with my hair.
Yes, your hair will look even better by using it at night instead of the morning. When I use it at night, I'll put my hair up to sleep and shake out in the morning. It will give you better results and more volume at the roots.
Yup. I second this. I wake up w/ amazing volume to my hair whenever I use it at night.
Ohh awesome! Thanks for the info. I will definitely do that!
It's worth a shot! Sometimes I will use dry shampoo at night, but then it's usually the BB pret a powder and not a spray, but the worst that could happen is you have to reapply in the morning.
I love dry shampoo so much.
O'm definitely going to try it!
I just tried a natural brand charcoal mask and it stained my skin grey. I rinsed and rinsed but its still tinged grey. Yikes.
oh no ! have you tried a bit of cleansing balm ?? i think the texture may be more helpful than rinsing....
No, let me go try! I don't want to exfoliate my face again, the mask had exfoliating grit in it:/
I am just spamming this thread today. Anyway, thanks to the person who asked if others put on moisturizer after a sheet mask. That had never even occurred to me, but I did it today, and my skin looked and felt great.
It was me! You're welcome 🙂
Thanks, Guzel!
i wish i'd seen your question ! i put on moisturizer after *everything*. regardless of the type of treatment, even after a moisturizing mask. glad your skin is feeling great !
cramps ! boo !! amirite ??
*eats all the chocolate*
I feel your pain, quite literally!
I plan on eating all the chocolate during my 3 day weekend!!
Dats Chocopuddings favourite snack!
Thumbs down. 😞
Yes!!
