Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

Yaaasssss lol HG setting brush for me. I LOVE it!!! I use it allll the time 😃 but not for eyeshadow lol that's cool I'll try that!

Oh and I'm getting ahead of myself EDIT: I LOVE the contour brush as well I got so excited there TKLJ! lol

Makeup forevers brushes are fantastic!!!!   They have three diffrent sizes of most brush styles.   You should check them out.

The Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour brush is working really well for me!

I really like the MAC 286 for blending, it's great on both powders and cream shadows.

Is this the fluffy one? I'm not super clear on what brush is used for what... I just use what works for me.

I use the Julep fluffy eyeshadow brush for blending. It's synthetic, is not unattractive, and works well for my needs. Best of all, it came to me as a freebie in some mystery box or free gift or whatever.

Yeah, a fluffy one like that is what I'm looking for. I'm not picky about it as long as it works either - by "blending brush" I mean "brush I use to blend with" not necessarily one that says "blending brush" on the side.

Yes, it does! Without any overpowering musk, too, which is perfect for me. I love it; can't wait to start burning it (although I also want to keep it forever). I fully intend to buy the large one.
