Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

That is just awesome!   I had a girl ask me out on the playground when I was around 12.  I had short hair and used to wear boys clothes and hang out with all boys cause they did way cooler stuff than the neighbourhood girls.  It was kinda awkward but I enjoyed it at the same time.

Yes, that's fine. I was not being serious anyway, just playing devil's advocate. But in actuality I am all about respect and keeping your word! I can joke about being naughty, but I can't actually bring myself to do it. 😐

I would totally post it if he wasn't so serious about it.   I'm always pushing boundaries and being naughty.  I ate all his chocolate on the weekend😛 I'm in a little trouble for that.

Yeah, this was subtle.  I actually want him to let me do it again sometime.  I'm just amazed more men don't wear makeup.  I like the idea of him primping up for me.

LOL this is awesome. My hubby let me put Bare Minerals foundation and concealer on him years ago for a photo he had to submit online. He looked so much younger. He will kill me if he finds out I posted this hahaha!

This morning I'm brushing my teeth and the hubs is watching Sports Center. He yells: 

Hubs: babe! 

Me: yes?

Hubs: who does Serena Williams' eye brows? They are those crazy brows you always talk about. 

... He does listen to me... 

Tonight i I come home to change for the gym. I removed my makeup and went to kiss him goodbye:

hubs: you have a BIG pimple right (touching it) here... 

Me: thanks babe

.... He does listen to me.... Smh no more beauty conversations for him.....

I love this whole story. Especially the Serena Williams comment, too funny. He's a keeper. I'm lucky to have a hubby that listens as well. He really asks me questions when I ramble on about new stuff. We're lucky chicks mrsbaine 🙂
