Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

Have you seen the ZUBAZ reviews on amazon..? They are the funniest bunch i've seen since the sugar free gummi bear ones.

Ugh. I remember. I think these are already back, just in a more subtle palette. Every retailer is calling them "soft pants". You know what I call them? Lardas* pants, because that's what I look like in them. They make me look 30 lbs heavier and like I'm wearing a diaper 😞

Hahaha, I just realized I bought some of these in Norway!!   I couldn't figure out why I looked so much larger in the photos than I do in real life. 😂

It's too late. The things on my don't list have already returned:

-chunky shoes with rubber soles

-mom jeans (why god, why are people wearing these again??)

-midi tops

-those stupid mullet skirts/dresses followed closely by the short skirt underneath with a long sheer/lace skirt on top

-stonewashed jeans

If you've already lived through these trends once, it's painful to see them again.

Was gonna say mom jeans, too. Ugh, nearly white, acid wash, up to the chin, baggy legs yet tight enough at the abdomen to sport mega camel toe. Hottttt.

And tight hair updos. I like loose and natural! Crimped hair..

I used to crimp my hair and have it fountain down from the top of my head!!!   I was awesome!!!!  

Now I wanna find a hair crimper so I can play!!!!
