I think I like this Kate Spade Walk On Air because it reminds me of Tommy Girl. I still use Tommy Girl too.  I miss the '90s. This is the $5 Walmart beauty box.

The Nightingale was one of my favorite reads from 2016 - it was such a moving, thought-provoking story. I hope you love it as much as I did!

thanks angel7594, I hope they are good reads, I have a lot of reading to do this year.  My 2017 goodreads challenge goal is to read 50 books this year hopefully I can do it. keeping my fingers crossed. my 2016 goal was 35 and I beat that by reading  42. so I am going to try and push myself harder this year in the devouring books department. 🙂 I love books but I don't always have the time.

Oh hey, I forgot my one Christmas "haul" (aka present) in my earlier post, but it's a great photo if I do say so myself, and also there is a story, so here it is.

This is from BF's mom. Normally BF discourages his mom from getting me anything that involves personal preferences, like jewelry or clothes, because our tastes are very different (she tends to default to a "this is what girls/women like" sort of thing, which, makeup notwithstanding, is not really me). So when she mentioned to him that she was thinking of getting me perfume, because her coworkers (at Macy's) were saying this brand was The Thing Right Now, he told her maybe not.

Then he came home and saw the Jo Malone bag/box from the DS sample set I ordered awhile ago, and was like "oh, do you like this brand? mom wanted to get some for you but I told her no because you probably wouldn't like whatever perfume she picked." (He didn't say that last part to her.) And I was like NO NO I LIKE THIS KIND. Lol. So he went back to her and told her that was actually a great idea, so here I am with a real life Full Size Mimosa & Cardamom as a backup for my little 10mL that I will definitely finish at some point. Hurray!

I used the Becca Brush last night and loved it for bronzer and blush (had to use my color switch in between), but I didn't like how it applied highlighter.

I am not thrilled with the colors in the Makeup Atelier palette, but the texture is really nice and it was only $35 of the total value, so I think I'll hang on to it and figure out a way to use it.

So thankful there is no Jeffree Star!!!!!!   🙂
