Clarisonic mia?

I know a lot of you have the clarisonic mia, i was just wondering if i should get one?

I just wnated to know how exactly you use it, and the benfits.

Also, i noticed it comes with cleanser of it's own, but i already have my fav. cleanser that works great for me. It's rotated between Lush's aqua marina cleanser and angels on bare skin cleanser. If any of you know lush, youll know that their clenasers arenèt exactly your run of the mill cleansers. They comes in a container in which you have to scoop out the product you want. Ièm definatly NOT switching cleansers, so will my lush cleansers work will the clarisonic mia, or do they not work togehter. I was thinking maybe youèd just scoop out the lush cleanser, then put it on the clarisonic mia, then just turn it on and use it... do you think that would be ok (sorry for not putting question marks or other punctutaion, some of my buttons are not working!)

Hey there Bee!  I too agree with Keely and Katie! The Mia is awesome and the best facial investment I've ever made.  And it has just made life so much simpler.  I don't know why, but I always hated washing my face. Now with the Mia, it's like, I don't know, more fun ( I know that probably sounds stupid, but it is.) You just circle your hand around your face for a little bit rinse and your done. I mean there are still the other steps that follow but I never minded them. And my face is so much better for it.  But you've already heard the praises and that you should not us any cleanser with scrubbies in it with it. Mine is PINK in solidarity with breast cancer survivors.  Since I won't wear pink clothes, might as well have a pink Mia. LOL

Get one --- they are worth it!

Which one should i get, then? There's a whole bucnh of differnet kinds! lol

If you want to use Lush cleansers with it choose something like Coalface or Fresh Farmacy since they lather and don't have the ground almonds that can get lodged in the mechanism.  Maybe use Angels or Aqua afterwards. I love Lush, I just wish they didn't use parabens.

I am going to agree with others.  You should get it.  Just don't a cleanser with granulars.

Hi Beebrunet!  The Clarisonic is one of  the best investments I have made in my skin.  You can use any cleanser as long as it does not contain granules.  When using, apply the cleanser to your skin and dampen the Clarisonic brush head and then use for a minute.  I start with my t-zone and then do cheeks and jawline.  I have noticed a remarkable difference in my skin since I started using it.  My products absorb better, my regular breakouts are now few and far between and my most stubborn blackheads have diminished over time.

I agree with keeley; the Mia is one of the best skincare investments I have ever made. However, if your cleanser has abrasive / scrubbing particles in it (I'm not familar with it, so I'm not sure), you could not use it with the Mia for two reasons -- (1) the Clarisonic system exfoliates on its own, so it would be overkill on your skin and (2) I think the scrubbing particles can damage the brush's mechanism. If your cleanser is soft, with no scrubbing particles, then it would probably be okay.

You could also get a cleanser that will work with the Clarisonic (I don't use the one that came with it -- I use either Fresh Soy Face Cleanser or Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser) and use your Lush cleanser when you're not using your Clarisonic (some people use the Clarisonic once a day, or every other day, so if you did, too, you could use the Lush cleanser on your off days.

Of any skincare product I have used, the Clarisonic has made the most difference in the least amount of time. While some people do not like it (as is the case with anything), I think the overwhelming majority of people have found that it is worthy of all the hype and glowing reviews.
