Hi everyone! I've been trying to buy some false eyelashes since I barely have any but I have no clue what kind would look best for my eyes. I have looked online to see if I could determine my eye shape, but my eye shape doesn't seem to even be a category. I seem to be mixed between protruding and a little bit of upturned or "almond" eyes but I sincerely have no clue! What falsies can I wear that won't look bad on me? Do I need to post a picture of myself with no makeup for a better idea? I do have a profile pic set up on here but I have makeup on.
Hello, I have recently been struggling to find the perfect foundation. I am going back to school soon and really want to invest in the right one. I don't necessarily have acne, but when i break out I get a few larger pimples. I don't need a ton of coverage, but would like the option to build it if my skin isn't as great one week from the next. I really only try to limit my foundation use to go out at night. My biggest dilemma- I am a sweater!! My skin isn't any more oily than average but I find myself sweating like crazy in the summer, especially during such humid times! I would love some advice on a foundation that fits these requirements!! Thanks so much, Sophie
So I've been using Kat Von D in Light 44 and I've tried it with several different primers. The color match is great (I was matched at Sephora) but no matter what I do it gets very cakey on me. I've tried applying it with both a brush and a beauty blender as well but regardless it looks flawless at first but shortly after it looks very caked and clings to my smile lines. I need the fuller coverage as I tend to have some breakouts due to Endometriosis treatments and I have sucky pores as well but I'm thinking maybe the full matte is too much for my perhaps more combination skin? I guess I have an oily t-zone but not so much on the cheeks/jawline. Any primer/foundation suggestions?
i have dry and sensitive skin, also some redness. Does anyone know any good foundation for dry skin? i am looking for something that wont give me that dry patchy look on my face. i have the make up forever velvet foundation which is nice but still makes certain spot look patchy.
Hey guys!!! I need some serious help. I've been looking for a concealer that's light enough for me, I'm usually the lightest shade in any foundation and usually all concealers are too dark. Kat Von D has white out but it's sold out everywhere. Does anyone know when it'll be in stock??? I feel like I've been waiting forever. Does anyone know of any alternatives?
I am 24, almost 25. I am wondering, do you recommend anti-aging creams for someone my age? I want to get a headstart on wrinkles, but I do not want to damage my skin or anything by starting Retinol type products/anti-aging products at too young of an age. If you do recommend it, which type or what should I look for? Thanks!
I usually use a creme gel on my waterline but in order for it to stay on I constantly need to touch it up. Is there a gel liner you recommend that will hold up? or is it better to use a pencil/crayon type liner?
Hey guys! So I've been wearing makeup since 7th grade (I'm a senior in high school now) and have never really had an issue with mascara until now. Now, it seems like, if I have mascara on past 3 hours, my eyes start becoming very irritated. It does not matter if the mascara is high end or drugstore I still get irritation. I especially have an issue with Benefit's They're Real! that stuff caused irritation almost instantly. Because of this, I have began wearing false lashes, but the problem is I cannot coat my real lashes in mascara to make them blend in with the false ones. Can someone PLEASE help me choose a mascara for sensitive eyes? Under $30 would be really helpful.
I'm going on a very long trip in March (stay with me, I just like to plan ahead!) and I'm trying to not bring a ton of makeup. For eyeshadow, I think I either want to take a small z palette with some single shadows. I think I want a couple light/medium browns for my crease, a couple good all over lid shades, and a couple highlight shades (matte or shimmer). I prefer lights neutrals or pinks since I'm fair and I like to keep my makeup very classic and natural. I only want singles that you can buy in the pan (like MAC or Makeup Geek) since depotting is way too risky for this klutz. I'd also appreciate swatches Thanks!
Hi, I am a teenager and I have very light blonde hair and therefore eyebrows. I have been looking for an eyebrow gel that is the right colour for me for a long time with no success. I need something very natural and subtle. It also needs to be of a drugstore price and available in the UK. Thanks very much!
So unfortunately I don't live anywhere near a Sephora store and am dying to try the new Concealer Creme from KVD. I'm currently wearing Mac Pro Longwear in NW 20, which is the tiniest bit too dark for me (NW15 is way too light). What shade do you think would be comparable, since I can't go in myself to get matched? Thanks!
So I have been using Urban Decay Naked foundation because its light weight and I only need to use a little to get the job done. Unfortunately, I have been noticing lately that the foundation has been drying with a pinkish/redish tint against my skin tone which is really bad because I am naturally prone to redness on my cheeks. Which liquid foundation do you recommend for me to switch to? (Ive also tried the pressed foundation powder from Laura Mercier which worked for a while until it started clumping and getting weird textured appearance on my skin throughout the day (I have combination/oily skin)) PLEASE HELP!
Not sure if I'm the only person with this issue. I Absolutely love my Marc Jacobs brush collection. I am looking to purchase "The Blush" Brush by MJ (the head of the brush itself has all black bristles, where as most if not all other MJ brushes sold at Sephora have the white tips). The first time I saw this brush was one MJ instagram or something and since I had never seen it before figured Sephora just didn't carry. However a couple months ago I saw it advertised in a store (like a brush in display that you could touch and test) with a section for the product boxes that just seemed to be sold out, so I came home and checked online..nothing. Then just this weekend I was at Sephora Sq 1 and yet again saw it advertised... with one brush left in the spot where the boxes for sale would be. But the brush didn't have a box, it was only in the cheap plastic wrapping. Now I really really want this brush, but I'm not spending all that money without getting it brand new in the box! Does anyone know if Sephora actually even carries this brush and a location where I could get it or if it will ever be available online? Thank you in advanced for any suggestions!!
Does anyone know if the Sephora Collection lipstick line "Lip Attitude" color no. S23 is still available? I think I got this lipstick last summer but haven't been able to find a replacement on Sephora's website. Thanks!
I was recently introduced to the Dior Hydra Life BB Cream and Nars tinted moisturizer and was wondering how the two would compare specs-wise (if their prices were put to the side). I have dry skin and am looking for something with light (but long-lasting) coverage. My shade is available in both products. Thanks!
Hello! Im Y375 in MUF HD foundation. Im interested in the UD all nighter foundation but I'm worried on getting the wrong shade. If I'm Y375 what would I be for the UD all nighter foundation? HELP! Thank You!
I want to start wearing makeup and perfecting my makeup skills. I want to get the right brushes and the right products for my skin. I've been taking care of my skin for 7 years and have been using Nerium day and night cream for the past 10 months. I only break out in my t zone when I'm on my period and my skin isn't sensitive. I would like to know everything I can possibly know for beginners from face to eyes even skin care products. Price is important but I've been saving up to go shopping specifically for makeup this summer (which is almost over x-x) so it's not a pro lem if some items are a lil expensive.
I swatched both of these at Sephora and fell in love with these! They're so pretty, but pricey for me at the moment especially since I already have many liquid lipsticks... I just can't justify spending that much on one liquid lipstick. Literally anything cheaper is fine online and in stores.
I would like to change bronzer as I feel the color I use is too light. I have a medium complexion with combination skin. I am 51 so I use it for cheeks and eyes vs. a lot of makeup. Suggestions on brands and colors?
what foundation will work the best for me? i tend to get oily throughout the day, but i have some dry patches. i want a foundation that will help with both, won't emphasize my pores, and is around 30 dollars or less.foundation for my skin?
need help finding a powder/bb cream/foundation for school! I'm fair with combo-oily skin (oily in t-zone, normal/dry with KP on cheeks). I want something that feels lightweight but lasts all day with my crazy skin. I also want something that will be natural looking---I stick to light neutral looks for everyday occasions, and my school allows only modest makeup (no neon yellow eyeshadow or black lipstick). As far as acne, I have very minor blemishes/blackheads, but redness is somewhat of a concern for me, mostly on my cheeks. I'd appreciate recommendations on face products (foundations, primers, concealers, powders, etc.) from Sephora, the drugstore, MAC, or even other stores! I just want something comfortable and nice-looking
