What is the best cleanser/treatment for clogged large pores on nose and cheek area. I feel as though my skin is rougher there and you can usually see small bumps when I have foundation on. What should I do about this to make my skin clear and not have as many clogged pores? Thanks!!

I am 33 with fair, combination to oily skin that breaks out easily and gets hormonal breakouts with the occasional cysts. I currently use Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Cleanser, Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner, Philosophy Clear Days Ahead moisturizer (day), and Dr. Dennis Gross Hydra Pure Moisturizer (night). I also use Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads Extra Strength 2-3 times per week at night, Glam Glow SuperMud mask once a week and Fresh Rose Mask 1-2x's a week. I am wondering if I should change up my routine slightly. I have heard good things about Dr. Dennis Gross All-in-One cleansing foam, but was wondering if that would be a good choice for me. Should I switch cleaners to Dr. Dennis Gross' one or stick with Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Cleanser? Thank you.
I'm moving to Florence in a few months and would like to start a good skin care regime to keep my skin beautiful. I'm 27 and always get compliments, I am currently washing my face with Clinique gel cleanser and using the Clinique moisturizer as well. I just went through a little tub of the dark eye circles cream, but I didn't relly notice any difference. I have normal skin, maybe slightly dry in Winter/slightly sensitive. What else should I use in order to maintain my great skin into my 30s and also during my next few years in Florence?
Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of y'all have tried the iluminage precise touch and want to share your thoughts on it. I'm South Asian and have been blessed with dark facial hair and would really like something that's a tad more permanent than waxing or threading or epilating.
So, let's start on my journey of trial and error on foundations. When I first went to Sephora, I got the Makeup Forever Mat Velvet+ in #70, it looked perfect in the store, but after a while of trying it on, I realized how dark and red it looked on my face, especially when I compared it to my chest. I immediately stopped using it, and went back to an old foundation I used to use, Revlon Colorstay in 400 Caramel, it appeared somewhat nice, but compared to my chest you could tell the difference. I went back to Sephora, and then I found the CoverFX Custom Cover Drops in G80. I thought it looked gorgeous, but then I slowly started to see it was off, I can't describe how off, but it did. So, I recently went to West Virginia, and went to a Sephora there and this lady there help me pick Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation in N80 (see I went from Golden to Neutral). She did my whole face, which looked flawless by the way, and I FINALLY thought I found the right one. But,when I went home I noticed the difference in my face and chest, after a while. I don't put anything that changes my skintone before my foundation, so I don't know the problem. Sidenote, I use the Anastasia Beverly Hill Powder Contour Kit, but the darkest shade, Espresso, makes my face way too red, even when I put on the slightest bit, it's like to moves on my entire face. PLEASE HELP!
Hey everyone! I am 21 and am looking for skin care products that improve my skin...something that evens out my skin tone, adds a natural glow/dew, enhances moisturization, and minimizes pores. Any recommendations for skin care products that improve natural skin and result in a flawless complexion? There are so many choices out there, I'm having a hard time choosing products. I have dark spots from post acne(uneven skin tone), light/medium skin, and normal(not too dry not too oily) skin. I would love to start going au natural for some days during the week and starting a healthy skin care regime. Let me know some of your favorite skin care products!
Hi! Does anyone have any suggestions of a cheaper alternative to Benefit's Hello Flawless Powder? I have been using it for a while now, but its soo expensive! I'm on my second one now, and the product runs out too quickly. I'm sick of paying $30-$35 for a product that won't last very long. Any ideas on what to buy instead? Thanks
Hey ladies & gents, I am having troubles picking which colour I should purchase from Laura Mercier's Baked Powder Compactes. I was debating between 03 and 04 but i want this powder to act more as a highlighting than a bronzer .. which one would look nice without overdoing it? & how can you use this matte radiance baked powder? are there several ways? I am east Indian. I wear 7.5 in Armani luminous Silk foundation as a hint. http://www.sephora.com/matte-radiance-baked-powder -compact-P379031
I currently use Diorskin Nude Skin. It's not bad, but I'm too afraid to switch especially with acne-prone skin. Which one of the three would be the best for oily, t-zone, acne, and acne scar/pigment skin?
Hi everyone! I just finished my MAC lip liner in Nice n spicy and the color is just perfect but I want to try the lipliners with MUFE, NARS and or UD but I'm not sure of the colors on the website, its pretty hard to choose! Can you help me find a color in one of these brands or other brands !? Thank you!
Hi, I just bought the MUFE Pro Bronze in 20M. The MUFE artist at Sephora tried it on my face with a kabuki brush, and I was surprised at how many times she had to apply it to show some color (something like 7 times). I bought it and tried it home and it literally has no pigmentation. The formula is half powder half cream, and you really have to apply it to your face like 6 times to be able to notice some color. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Why are people raving about this product if its so hard to apply? Any recommendations on bronzers that are more pigmented than this one? Thanks a lot!
Hi. I usually wear Cashew, but it's a little too light for the summer. It looks like the next darker shades for neutral/warm undertones would be Honey or Dusk, but it looks like (just from the computer monitor) Honey has a pink/orange tint. What would you recommend as the next darker shade for me? Thanks! Kelli
I bought a nudestix sculpting pencil in the lightest shade, I was wondering if the sculpting side of the pencil is a similar color to one of the concealers. I want to try one but am unsure what color to order. I would most likely have to order one that is two to three shades lighter than the sculpting side of the pencil. If it will help my sephora color id is 2R04 (Sephora teint infusion #14) or 2R05 (Clinque beyond perfecting foundation and concealer in Alabaster) depending on the products.
I want to purchase some new eyeshadow and eyeliner. I have blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin with pink undertones and rosacea. Hooded eyelids/aging eyes. At 45 I am showing signs of aging and not sure what colors I should be wearing to flatter my skin tone, enhance my blue eyes and are good for my aging eyes. Often times my eyes look tired. I have no idea what colors to wear. I do have trouble with my shadows creasing and liners running. I do not like to wear waterproof products due to my delicate lashes. Any suggestions?
I just received my order of Sunday Riley's "Start Over" eye treatment. I've used the product before and my last bottle reads "Active Eye Cream" but this new one reads "Active Eye Gel Cream." Does anyone know if this is the same product? Have they changed the formula? The packaging is different from my old one (bought in January) so I was wondering if it is the same. Thanks!
Ok, so I have been looking around at new ideas for eye makeup When googling, I came across the smashbox eye shape recommendations, which seem pretty popular. I had always believed my eyes were round, so I tried their round recommendations. I got a bit frustrated since these recommendations are clearly for people who do NOT have prominent lids (I have prominent lids). Everything is VERY light with little eyeliner, and I was looking washed out. Last night I came across the video they have for determining eye shape and now they say I have one almond eye and one downturned eye. Thinking that the downturned eye needs the most help I went with those recommendations for day, but the wash out issue is way worse, since in their opinion people with downturned lids should use even less liner. Has anyone else had this issue? When I look at the videos, the concepts seem great, but in real life it just doesn't seem to work.
I currently wear MUFE HD 170 and 118 in MUFE pro finish! Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for tinted moisturizer and concealer!
