I typically get my brows waxed to clear out obvious strays, and pretty much keep things natural beyond that. Being a beauty newbie who is starting to experiment with more involved looks, I keep thinking the portions of my brow that are closest to my nose are a little too bushy and cut off my brow bone a little too much. I'm thinking about carefully tweezing on my (where I can make decisions on each individual hair) rather than go to a salon and risk having too much removed. The look I am going for is a mild reshape to make my brow bone more visible and give me a little more space to play with colors. Having a fuller face, I suspect I shouldn't make them too whispy. Is is this a reasonable goal? Some image of what I currently have going on are below. Am I nuts to consider reshaping on my own? Should I use a template such as the ABH ones, or just go without? Any favorite templates? If professional help is advised, how to I find a professional who won't over do it? I realize this this is such a basic question, so I really appreciate any advice I can get!
Hi, I am a 2Y08 Sephora color match and I typically use the Bobbie Brown Medium to Dark BB cream. Which shade of the Sephora Collection Skin Perfect CC Cream would be the best match for me? Also would the Stila CC Color Correcting Cream in the shade Tone work for me? Thanks!
I'm trying to find my shade in Double Wear. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation in Medium Beige matched my skin perfectly but didn't provide enough long lasting coverage. My skin is light-medium cool toned. The Estée Lauder counter gave me Desert Beige but it is too warm & washed me out. From what I can tell from searching on line Pure Beige 2C1 or Fresco 2C3 would be better for my skin tone. Need help comparing the Tarte shade to Double Wear. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Is the following product discontinued- '10hr wear perfection foundation' in the shade '22 clair light natural (P)'? And if so, can you recommend an equivalent shade of foundation from the same foundation (the sephora 10 hr wear perfection foundation collection) please? thanking you in advance
I recently received a sample size of Caudalie Vinopure Fluide Matte Finish Fluid and I can't seem to find it on the website or anywhere online. Does the bigger size go by a different name? Do they no longer carry this product? Help! i need it!
HI, If I am wearing the shade Light 48 in Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation. What shade would you recommend I use in the Marc Jacobs Remarkable foundation? I would like to order it online but nervous about selecting the right shade and my nearest Sephora does not carry it. Thank you !!
Hello, I need to buy a powder. I don't wear make up much so i was searching for a very light powder that will give me a natural look. I liked the marc jacobs powder texture but i'm unsure between the brand clinique powder and marc jacobs powder. Does anyone has an idea? My skin is very light. Thank you
I have medium skin tone, with yellow or golden undertones. I've tried Tarte's Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Light-Medium Sand, Medium Sand, and Tan. There is no Sephora within a thousand miles of here, literally. Trying to differentiate the many shades is difficult on a computer screen. So I've tried all three shades via mail from Sephora and still can't seem to find a shade that matches my skin. Medium Sand is too light and Tan is too orange. Is there a shade of this concealer in between Medium Sand and Tan that would blend in with my yellow undertones?
Hi, my hair gets really frizzy easily (though it is not curly) and I was wondering which product you would recommend that I could use to avoid this (either shampoo/conditioner, leave-in, or both!). I also have straight eyelashes that are not too hard to curl, but once I put mascara on the curl falls almost immediately. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Years ago Biotherm made an eye cream/concentrate called hydra detox and it was the only eye cream I have ever tried that reduced puffiness (instantly) and over time helped with dark circles. is there anything similar on the market? I tried to age fitness but it did not do the same thing at all, as well as the orange one with ginseng... didn't do a thing. Does anyone know? Thanks so much from me and the designer bags under my eyes ..
I currently wear the Make Up Forever Ultra HD in color 123. It has been a great color for the summer, but I am started to get more pale again and would like to take it down a shade. What would the next color down? Thanks!!
I have the F80 flat kabuki brush that i use to apply my foundation, which i am very pleased with by the way, but I kind of want to try the Marc Jacobs Face III buffing brush because i heard it works really well. How do these two brushes compare? Is one better than the other? If so, i'd rather not waste my time and money.
Hello I recently bought the anastasia creme contour kit in light and I'm having problems with it. I'm not a contouring expert, but any means but I have been watching youtube to get tips and tricks. I'm having the worse trouble with it creating dry patches on my skin. First I prime my face with the hydrating laura mercier primer. Then I use the josie maran argan oil and I put that on contour palet (this is what I have seen people do in youtube videos). Then I proceed to higlight and contour my face. Followed with my smashbox foundation and the laura mercier setting powder. Between my eyebrows, right above my nose and any highlighted creme parts that are on my forehead are really dry and sort of cakey (so mostly where I highlight my forehead becomes dry and cakey). I don't have this problem with my cheeks. I was using the kat von contour kit and didn't have any problems like this, but I really wanted to try out something different. Does anybody have any tips for me? Maybe I need to start using a moisturizer? The only moisturizer I use is from the third step in my proactiv routine (using proactiv could be casuing the problem as well).
Can you please recommend lancome lipstick shades? I am a 53 year old professional. I have medium toned skin with yellow undertones. My hair is salt and pepper (used to be dark brown). My eyes are brown. I need lipsticks that are wearable and professional for work. I like Lancome products. I am interested in lipstick shades and also liners (I don't wear liner all the time but it is nice when I need a very polished look). Thank you for your help!
I love Dior Multi-Perfection Serum, but I see Sephora is only selling the Emollient. I use that, but I like the Serum underneath. Is it still available, or did Dior change the Serum into something else or give it a new name? Is there something comparable to the MP Serum? Some of their products don't work with my skin as well as the MP line. Hydra Life makes me break out. Capture Totale is okay, but the MP Serum is the best! Thanks.
I use Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Serum, Dreamskin, and Dior Star Fluid Foundation. I'm not totally satisfied with my Korres Pomegranate Primer, so I will soon be trying the Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Makeup Base 25 SPF PA+. I am getting the MP Radiance Enhancer Serum to see if I like that better than the plain Multi-Perfection Serum. My skin issues are large pores, oiliness and dryness, and I am approaching mid-thirties, so I'm entering the wrinkle prevention category. I am looking for general advice from those who use Dior products and would like imput on order of application, which products work the best for you, and your must-haves from the Dior line. Thanks!
I have been thinking about getting the Bellami extensions. I haven't worn extensions in years but really have been thinking about them lately. The only ones I have used were from Sally Beauty (forgot brand and they no longer have them). They were human hair and over $200 but very nice. Has anyone used Bellami? If so, please share your thoughts.
I have been using some samples of the NUDE face oil. Hands down, the most phenomenal product I have ever ever used on my skin (combo/oily). The results are truly astounding. So...it's super expensive. Is there another face oil I could use that would be comparable to the NUDE and less expensive? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy it?
Laura mercier silk creme says bamboo beige has neutral undertones, but when reading color q/a people are saying warm undertones it had. I am medium skin (because im tan now) and yellow golden undertones I need a suggestion for a color
