I want to purchase the Kat Von D shade and light eye shadow palette, Too Faced bon bon palette, and the Tarte tartelette in bloom palette. I want to buy one right now but I don't know which one to get first! I don't wear much eye shadow, but I sometimes will wear warm matte eye shadow which already own some. I am looking for a good palette that I can use for special occasions, such as homecoming, and on an everyday basis too.
Hi! I recently got engaged and I'm taking engagement photos with my fiancé in October. I really need to find a foundation that will look good in our pictures. I'm of medium/dark complexion. I have dry sensitive skin. I don't want anything that will look or feel heavy on my skin. I have a few dark spots and hyper pigmentation around my chin. I really just want to even out my skin tone. Any Suggestion?
Hey! I have dry/combination textured skin, especially in the triangle area between my nose bridge and under my eyes/ on top of my cheeks. I've been told they're closed comedones. It's been really difficult finding a foundation that didn't cling onto dry patches (that don't appear UNTIL I put on foundation or concealer) and end up making my skin look scaley and unflattering. I need to find a concealer and primer to pair it with the tinted moisturizer that won't accentuate the textured skin I have and one that hydrates and blends easily. Products I've tried : Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Tarte Rainforest of The Sea Foundation Too Faced Hangover Primer Smashbox Hydrating Primer MUFE Hydrating Primer So far only the Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel is working in terms of not showing dry patches and flakes. The only major problem I have with it is that the finish looks oily around my T-zone but nothing a little Laura Mercier translucent powder can't fix.
I am looking for the best Dipbrow shade from Anastasia I do have dirty blonde hair and, black eyebrows! I was wondering what shade I should get (I was thinking of Medium Brown) I do like to go a shade or 2 darker with my eyebrows!!! Thank you so much!
What's a good foundation/bb cream/tinted moisturizer and concealer that won't look flakey on my cheeks and on my nose, and it looks cakey around my cheeks. I do moisturize every night and in the morning, yet my skin gets super dry whenever I put anything besides skincare products on. Should I use a primer? Or should I just try different products?
I have been wanting to try out a new lipstick, but I need help finding one. I like the look of most matte lipsticks, but they leave my lips too dry. I have tried the NYX matte lip creams, but they leave my lips dry and it doesn't last long. I want to get lipstick that lasts and doesn't transfer onto anything/anyone. I basically want lipstick that makes me forget I'm wearing it. I am open to trying lip stains, but I don't personally have experience with them so I wouldn't know what kind to get. Just nothing overly glossy! Please help! I need opinions. Thanks -Gaby
Hi! I have a very sensitive skin and lately I am having quite a hard time with it. I am 40 (already!) and still have acne (little, very deep under the skin type of pimples, not exactly what you see on those acne treatment informercials). It will breakout for several reasons (hormone, heat, stress...) I followed different treatment for that (even with a dermatologist) and I found out that, because my skin is very sensitive, using acne treatment actually make it worst somehow...my combination skin is often mistaken for a very oily one because as soon as I use something too strong my skin get's oily to cope with the harsh ingredients. So, I am looking for new products for my skin because what I am using right now cause my skin to breakout a lot and my skin is itchy. I am using clinique products (the more gentle soap, the no.2 clarifying lotion, the turnaround revitalizing serum and the moisturizing gel). I am using the Neutrogena CC cream instead of a fondation. Usually when I combine a very gentle soap with very light moisturizing I am doing fine. I would like to know the products that may be better for me (from soap to moisturizer), which BB or CC cream to use, well, which skin care would make my skin better. I know my skin is not typical but maybe that might help other women that also have a very difficult skin. It's hard to find a product that will soothe and prevent acne, help with those first wrinkles as well as be gentle on a skin that won't put up with ingredients that are too strong. Thank you so much for your help! Ps. I hope the writing is not too bad, english is my second langage
Not sure if I'm the only person with this issue. I Absolutely love my Marc Jacobs brush collection. I am looking to purchase "The Blush" Brush by MJ (the head of the brush itself has all black bristles, where as most if not all other MJ brushes sold at Sephora have the white tips). The first time I saw this brush was one MJ instagram or something and since I had never seen it before figured Sephora just didn't carry. However a couple months ago I saw it advertised in a store (like a brush in display that you could touch and test) with a section for the product boxes that just seemed to be sold out, so I came home and checked online..nothing. Then just this weekend I was at Sephora Sq 1 and yet again saw it advertised... with one brush left in the spot where the boxes for sale would be. But the brush didn't have a box, it was only in the cheap plastic wrapping. Now I really really want this brush, but I'm not spending all that money without getting it brand new in the box! Does anyone know if Sephora actually even carries this brush and a location where I could get it or if it will ever be available online? Thank you in advanced for any suggestions!!
I swatched both of these at Sephora and fell in love with these! They're so pretty, but pricey for me at the moment especially since I already have many liquid lipsticks... I just can't justify spending that much on one liquid lipstick. Literally anything cheaper is fine online and in stores.
I recently purchased the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard because of all the rave it gets online and with my friends. Unfortunately, this left my skin super dry and patchy at the end of the day wherever I placed the concealer. I wash my face every night with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple cleanser. I moisturize every night with Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment, and follow up every morning with another face wash then treating my skin with Ole's Truth Serum and Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. All in all, my skin is NOT dry whatsoever and since I started really taking care of my skin it doesn't get as oily throughout the day as it used to. I used Clinique's Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer in Alabaster but it was leaving my skin just as patchy as NARS did, only it happened just an hour or so after applying while the NARS concealer lasted a few hours more without looking patchy. I've gone through the online store to see if I could find anything with awesome reviews, but I'd like to get a better idea from you guys. If it helps with anything, I listed down below what I use for my make up routine (and my skin doesn't get patchy whatsoever). Face Primer: Hour Glass Veil Mineral Primer Foundation: Benefit Cosmetics 'Hello Flawless!' Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation in the color Honey Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Contour: Benefit Cosmetics HOOLA Matte Bronzer Highlight: BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Setting Spray: Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control

Hello, I've been using the Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Complexion Corrections Pads for quite some time now. I noticed a month or two ago that they were out of stock, and now the website states that they cannot be shipped to the US. I was wondering why is this item no longer available for purchase here? and will it be again? I also noticed that Sephora stores no longer carry this product. I have had great results using the pads, and I would preferably like to continue using them as well as purchasing them through Sephora. Otherwise, what other products would you recommend that are similar? Greatly appreciate your response. Thanks
I am looking for a good, but gentle, eye makeup remover for waterproof mascara. I loved the remover that Too Faced used to carry but you cannot get it anymore. I've used Dior and Lancôme and have been underwhelmed. Any suggestions?
I recently purchased the living proof curl shampoo. I love the living proof line however I find it does not help my waves and it makes it feel a little greasy and dry. I am unsure if it is because I am using just the shampoo and not the curl conditioner with it or if it is a non lathering shampoo. I am thinking about switching to the Devacurl line. Thoughts?
Whenever I buy a foundation and think it matches, it always ends up making my face look more pink/red than the rest of my body. What exactly am I doing wrong? Please help! I've wasted so much money on foundation that I can't wear.
I opened my opal highlighter to use today and found it completely shattered (except I didn't even drop it?). Does anyone have a way as to how I could fix this because homegirl isn't about spending another $50?
i got my makeup done earlier today by a seohora makeup professional to get ready for an event this evening. Now I am getting ready to go out and it looks all caked around my eyes emphasizing crepiness and wrinkles. Is there any way to remedy this or is my only solution to take it all off and start over? Thanks for any advice
I've been filling in my eyebrows for about 2 years now and I feel like I've improved greatly in skill. I finally upgraded to an ABH brow definer and I love it but I feel like I'm filling my eyebrows wrong. I feel like my lack of an arch and sparse hair leaves me over-compensating with blocky brows. Can someone give me advice on how to tweeze or wax my eyebrows into a better shape? What would be the best way to fill in my brows, working with the hair I have? Pictures: My natural brows, and how I typically fill them in.
I must say, I am so very sad to hear that Nude is leaving Sephora; it was the only thing I could use on my sensitive, acne-proned skin that wouldn't cause further breakouts My question to you lovely beauties is what is your favorite moisturizer? I have combination skin with a dry T-Zone and oily everywhere else.
I have this dress for prom and I wear glasses. I was wondering if I should do my eye makeup darker instead of a light brown/gold because it might be hard to see from far away. I just wanted opinions and see if I should do more of a dramatic smokey eye, since I was thinking it could bring out my blue eyes and make my false lashes look better.
