I do not wear make up often and don't know what I should get. I am looking for eyeliner that has rich color and is easy to apply. I am also looking for mascara that kinda dramatic. If you can recommend some products, I'd be grateful.
I'm 55 and always end up with the wrong blush shade. I have blue grey eyes, light brown hair and a neutral not cool complexion. I would like to try a stila or MUFE cream blush. My skin tone is always a mystery to cosmetic consultants, the blue eyes and light skin throw them off.
I'm used to be blessed with nice skin, but now in my late 50's, I am plagued with cystic acne. I have been trying out different skin care lines for about six months now, both expensive and not so much, and am finding best results with Ole Henriksen, worst results with Philosophy, no big deal results with Clinique, which was advised by the Sephora rep. I'm curious about Perricone but don't want to buy into the hype and mess up my Ole routine. I've tried samples from the store, don't find the smell offensive, but love the Ole fragrances or any other nice fragrance. QVC is running a great deal on a set of 5 Perricone neuropeptide products, several which are new or not researchable on Sephora. Any quick advise about whether to spend $159.90 on QVC or stick with Ole, or otherwise before midnight tonight? I really need a great eye creme too -- Thanks!
So I'm a self-diagnosed beauty addict, but I have never actually tried one of the Mini Makeovers (the 15-minute complimentary makeup service). I'm really curious as to which one I'd get the most out of, and also whether or nor I should just do the 45-minute custom makeover (the one that's complimentary with a $50 minimum purchase). Just for reference, these are the Mini Makeover options: -Smoky Eye -Perfect Lips -Blush & Bronzer -Essential Eyeliner -Flawless Foundation -Faux Lashes -Treat & Conceal -Everyday Eye Thanks!
Hi there! Need your help guys to choose the right shade of BareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation. I always use BareMinerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light as my skin has neutral-yellow tone (without pink undertone), and also BareMinerals Concealer in Light 2, so I'm thinking between Shell / Linen / Ivory or Cream. Thanx in advance
I've been wanting to do something to my eyebrows for a while, but the things is, I don't know what! I do know that I want to fill them in the slightest bit, though not too much that it contradicts the natural makeup I wear on the daily. I was thinking about purchasing an eyebrow gel, either Tarte's Colored Clay Tinted Eyebrow Gel or Benefit's Gimme Brow (by the way, what's the difference between it's Speed Brow?). However, I am very confused onto which color I should get. I have black hair, but the colors only go into brown. Is an eyebrow gel good for filling in eyebrows a little bit? What color should I purchase?
I'm switching from Clinque to makeup forever, I'm golden in Clinque but I'm not sure which Makeup Forever color i the closet to it even though I have a warm undertone.? Please respond if you can, thanks
My everyday makeup: MFE Invisible HD Foundation in Neutral 145 Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer Benefit They're Real Mascara/Victoria's Secret Mascara I'm mostly looking for help in highlighting and contouring . I haven't been wearing my makeup as often and have been wanting to splurge on things to look forward to (such as the teddy bear brush set) each day as I learn. I have had a Sephora artist work with me and applied the Microsmooth Baked Contouring Trio in Sweet and the Hourglass Corrective Concealer in Sand, which I enjoyed. Looking for any recommendations or tips. *Picture without makeup
I am looking to purchase the YSL Teint Touche Eclat foundation and I was matched with BD50. I noticed that online there is only B50 and BR50. What are the differences and which one would I match with better (I am 1Y09)?
The foundation thingaling at the store said I'm a bare nude 09 in Bare Minerals serum foundation but I find it too yellow. I would like to try another brand but can't figure out how to determine my undertone? I'm light medium in complexion and have a lot of redness on my face.
Hi guys I need help choosing the right shade of the ABH Dipbrow pomade. My hair is blonde and the color of my brows is brown. I've tried multiple products with no success they make my brows look grayish and I prefer something more natural.Any suggestions? Thanks!!
Hello, I am in need of advice, I have combination skin and am looking for a foundation that wont dry me out i only need light coverage since my skin is pretty clear any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
So technically I should be VIB Rouge now as I just made my $37 purchase to reach the $1000 mark. Though they were out of the VIB Rouge "kits". The lady at the till said I still get my perks but I'm on the fence here. She was fine with bidding me farewell without a mention of my VIB Rouge status until I brought it up when she expected me to leave. I really didn't get a chance to ask too many questions. So if I booked a makeover would that be treated as VIB or VIB Rouge? I'd explain the situation to them though and hopefully they'd have the kit and I'd receive my card. I'm not too concerned about the other perks at this moment. I honestly just want to see my favourite SA before the break ends....and pay day isn't till after. What I'm basically asking is if I don't have the VIB Rouge card could I still book a free makeover if I have met the requirements to achieve VIB Rouge?
I'm 22 with a pension for hormonal acne, but in general pretty combo skin. I use a clarisonic with the clarisonic acne wash, but i'm looking for a serum at night to moisturize/maybe provide some early/light anti-aging benefits (not a HUGE priority, but in the back of my mind!). Basically just looking for your average serum for combo skin to help with moisture and acne.
The past two spring breaks/summers I didn't wear very much sunscreen. I went to Florida two springs ago, got a sunburn on my face... peeling later. I then went to the beach that summer... and burned my face pretty badly again. Then last spring break, I went to Puerto Rico and got a blistering sun burn on my face. I have never blistered before and determined that it was from the doxycycline that my dermatologist had prescribed for my acne. They told me I just needed to wear sunscreen and never said anything else. If I had known how much doxycycline makes you sensitive, I would have never gone out in the sun at all! That burn left me with lines under my eyes and hyper pigmentation on random parts of my body that I missed with sunscreen (stripe on my leg and arms). So basically I have vowed to never get sunburn/tan again! However, I am left with enlarged pores and oily skin on my face... I was always oily but to me my pores are bigger... or I might just be over analyzing. But seriously if anyone has a similar situation and/or suggestions on what would help that would be great. Is it too late to fix pores?
I have been using Caudalie Vinexpert Radiance Day Cream for a few years. It is time to replace and I am searching for a less expensive option. I only use it under my eyes and between my nose and mouth for the illuminizing effects. Can you suggest an alternative? I break out easily so I need a product that addresses that, too.
