my face has gotten slightly lighter than the rest of my body. i need a lotion that would give me a glow and fresh natural looking skin. i want to give my skin a break by not wearing makeup.. however i also want my skin to look good. what would be a good product that would give me a healthy fresh natural skin
So i used to tiny bumps and lots of small pimples all around my cheeks and forehead, and these few months, they've cleared up a lot and i am comfortable to go out without makeup except for this issue: I may look fine in my mirror, but once i go out in sunlight....i see dark dots on my face, kinda like acne marks and i look horrible and uncomfortable in my skin again. so what did i do? I put on make up. looks awesome in my mirror, looks fine in the sunlight, but in certain lights, my face looks so dry and the bumps are accentuated. ive tried a range, from kat Von d lock it foundation, makeup forever foundation, Laura merrier powder foundation, concealers.....other foundation...bb cream... Gverythung. But i still look horrible in many lightings and my skin skin looks so bad.... so ive tried concealers, liquid, powder.... Pretty much everything.... I even have the water spritzers... But nothing works. What products can i use?
I have always wondered about those cooling roller balls, but never introduced them to my skin care regime as I thought they wouldn't provide much hydration to replace my eye creams. Do people generally use roller balls with an eye cream? Is there a recommended step to use it (i.e. day or night, before eye cream or before make up)? Do you have any specific product recommendations? Let me know, I am very curious! Sugarislove
I have recently been using the Tarte Amazonian Clay liquid Foundation, and bareMinerals Blemish Remedy, and both are making me break out... I have used the Clinique Stay-Matte but it also made me break out. I am looking for a good Liquid foundation and/or a powder, preferably pressed powder for on the run touch ups, that won't encourage breakouts. Any suggestions?
What shade am I for Estee Lauder Double Wear Light (squeeze tube one, not glass bottle)? I have 1.0 right now and it it too light and too pink/cool toned. (P.S. I'm asking again since my question was missed...)
Hi all..I got "matched" for Nar's radiant creamy concealer in Custard and would really, really like to try out MUFE's full cover concealer (Tx to all who recommended!).....Thoughts on the closest MUFE shade? Also, the woman said that because I want to cover the occasional pimple I should be going with a shade as close to my skin as possible and not lighter..thoughts? Tx and happy Wednesday!
I have been noticing that you cant tell I'm wearing makeup in pictures. Am I not wearing enough, you can only tell im wearing liquid eyeliner but in person I feel like I am wearing a good amount? Is it just my makeup that's not pigmented enough?
I recently bought NARS blush in Orgasm due to so many raves but I didn't care for it. It had too much shimmer for me. There are several other ones i'd like to try, but I don't want to commit to buy and I also don't want to buy, buy, buy and have to return. Can Sephora make you a blush sample?
Can anyone tell me or suggest to me what would be a good brow powder duo.? Dark brown or ebony for my color hair and brows.? I want a natural look. I recently went into the store and tried ebony it looked really good, I asked the sephora consultant and she tried dark brown on me as well, I couldn't really notice a difference between the two. Im just scared if i get dark brown and take a picture with flash you will be able to see two different color shades, She told me to use a light hand with the ebony color if I chose that. I'm just really confused on which color to choose. I use the brow wiz in dark brown.any suggestions advice? thanks in advance. a PICTURE OF MY NATURAL BROW My Hair color with my brows filled in with brow wiz dark brown.
I'm looking for a "spot" concealer for those wicked little pimples that occasionally pop up. I've searched and see tons of products for under eye...but this would be for the face. I'm open to any and all suggestions.(money is not an object)..also what brush and technique should I use so it's not obvious? I wear Nars Sheer glow foundation...the color is lost on me right now, but in the past have worn Dior Airflash spray foundation in 200, as well as Chanel's Vitalumiere satin smoothing fluid make up in natural beige...I also wear Bobbi Brown's BB cream in Medium..and it's a great match. Tx so much!
I am in desperate need of a new skincare plan. I have a few ideas so far: Investing in the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush! Clé de Peau Beauté masks! But...I need a great moisturizer to use daily. I am torn between the Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Energizing Oxygen Gel Cream Moisturizer, and the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense For Very Dry to Dry Combination Skin. I am very pale, with super-parched, tight skin. I have very, very sensitive skin and allergies to most plants, flowers, botanicals, and artificial chemicals. I do not break out easily, but suffer from skin redness when it gets irritated or dry, due to air pollution, impurities, etc. Both have received wonderful reviews, so I am hoping someone can provide me with a bit of a breakdown as to any reactions/differences one would notice between the two products. Thanks for your help!
Guerlain is my benchmark on BB creams and I've tried a lot. The big problem with it was that it only had 2 colors, One was too light and one was too dark for me. Now however they have introduced an in between color and I'm thinking of ordering it. Before I do though, are there any others in the same league as Guerlain that I should consider? BTW I've tried Too Faced, Stila, Clinique, Estee Lauder (was the closest in overall quality and a few of Dr. Jart (to ashen for my skin tone). Thanks for your input.
What foundation/BB/CC cream would everyone recommend for that simple porcelain finish? I have a make up bag full of products... none that do the trick. I have normal/ even skin tone. Just wanted a simple look
Hi -- I'm preparing to do an amateur bodybuilding competition in a month, and I've been tanning for awhile using a "professional grade" bronzing lotion. Approximately two months ago I injured myself on the left side of my chest. The wound has healed but unfortunately there is now a blotchy 2" x 1" area which is noticeably darker than the surrounding tanned skin. Even though I have put an opaque bandage over the area when I tan, the discoloration is not fading all that much. A day before the bodybuilding show, I get spray tanned on top of my "base" tan. This is necessary because even though I have a fairly dark tan right now, the theatrical lighting on-stage is so bright that my "natural" tan will look washed-out and without the spray tan I'll wind up appearing grey. So, I think I'm going to need some sort of makeup to cover the blemish, but not only does it have to blend with my tanned skin, it has to be compatible with the spray tan. I'm guessing that I'd apply the blemish concealer before spray tanning, but being that I know virtually nothing about cosmetics, I'm not sure about this. Anyway, I have no idea what would be a good choice of product to use, so I figured that I'd "Ask The Experts." - Dan
